Since I work full time, he needs to be socialized during the day with other dogs as opposed to being in a crate and play with different dogs than my other two at home. Isn't the point of doggie day care to help with socialization and get exercise for a pup that is otherwise crated during the day? When I noticed that they noted that he was 2 years as opposed to 7 months I called and spoke to someone who then said that sometimes pups regress at this age and other things and they proceeded to tell me that there are other day cares that might be a better fit. That right there ended the conversation for me, obviously they only want specific perfect dogs and not those that may need some help. They want the easy dogs and have enough dogs going where they felt they did not needed my business. I would never bring a dog to them with that attitude, it does not speak favorably of them. As a side note, I work with several different rescues as a foster home and have fostered over 20 puppy mill releases and taught them how to be real dogs and placed them in great homes, my other dogs at home are rescues as well. I have worked with dog behavior specialists and have an understanding of dog behavior.

There are large areas for the dogs to play and romp. We know how much our dog loves them as soon as we arrive. She walks away with Rick to go to the kennel with nary a look back. Our dog had a medical crisis this past weekend, while in their care. They immediately recognized what was happening and the seriousness of it. They rushed her off to Cornell and made arrangements for surgery, etc. They couldn't get ahold of us at the minute, so they took financial responsibility so as to not delay her care. They saved her life without a doubt, but more than that, because of their quick action, she did not suffer any more than she had to, and is expected to make a full recovery. We were not notified, nor was a vet consulted at the time of injury. By the time we fetched our pup 2-3 days later (Kevin could not say when it had happened) and discovered the half-dollar-sized wound, it was too late for our vet to apply stitches. We provided oral and topical antibiotics, performed ongoing, twice-daily soaking treatments, and revisited the vet, all of which led to eventual healing. Kevin did not call to check on the dog, did not offer reimbursement for vet or kennel fees, did not seem to feel any remorse for having inflicted damage to our dog (apparently due to "backing up the wheelchair"). Very worrisome and disappointing.

Danielle from Paws-2-Play did a fantastic job taking care of our cats while we were away for a few…read moreweeks last month. We have to take another trip soon and feel totally comfortable knowing that our pets will be well taken care of in our absence. We even noticed a new toy in the apartment when we got back, so the cats were definitely getting played with, too. As a plus, the office staff is incredibly organized and responsive. Both times, they got back to us right away to confirm that they had received our request.
