But, they were bonded and I really liked their website and credentials. So, I thought that I would try it. When Cindy came for the consultation, I knew that I had made a good choice. I felt so comfortable having her take care of my cats and, obviously, my house. She is absolutely lovely and very qualified. Plus, we discovered mutual acquaintances. (I think they take care of everyone's pets in the area!) First, they give you an in-depth consultation to review all the needs of your pets before you go away. This is great! They even asked questions I didn't think to tell them. Then, while you are away, they really do a great job with your pets. One of ours is a little tricky and requires medicine. This was no problem at all. You get pictures while you are away. (This is nice!) If there are any difficulties, even minor, you get a call or message. I don't trust people at all and I trust them. I can't say enough good things!

We were not notified, nor was a vet consulted at the time of injury. By the time we fetched our pup 2-3 days later (Kevin could not say when it had happened) and discovered the half-dollar-sized wound, it was too late for our vet to apply stitches. We provided oral and topical antibiotics, performed ongoing, twice-daily soaking treatments, and revisited the vet, all of which led to eventual healing. Kevin did not call to check on the dog, did not offer reimbursement for vet or kennel fees, did not seem to feel any remorse for having inflicted damage to our dog (apparently due to "backing up the wheelchair"). Very worrisome and disappointing.

She was calm and my dog was calm. Very friendly. There was another employee (male) that my bigger dog was barking at because he was a stranger. My dog barks at strangers until he knows that person is trustworthy and safe to be around. This man kept yelling at me to get my dog out and they couldn't watch him. I was trying to explain something to him but he cut me off and kept yelling telling me he didn't care and claimed my dog "almost bit him." Which he didn't. This is unacceptable customer service and very unprofessional. Our Thanksgiving trip was cancelled.

Jen and James have great expertise in dealing with dogs. I trust their judgement. It is a nice country setting and it shows they take great care when caring for the dogs. I have been going to Meadowridge Vet for over a year now, and I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else…read more They have been a great vet for everything from routine exams, to boarding, and for when she was in a crisis. The head vet, Linda, really tries to build a welcoming atmosphere, is extremely personable, and amazing with animals. She really tries to explain what is going on with your pet and will work with you to ensure you are getting the care you want for your furry friends. She has trained at Cornell and has a great working relationship with them, so I really feel like I'm getting great care for an affordable price. Because of that relationship, some of the lab work gets sent to Cornell and she also is not afraid to send serious cases to them. The rest of the staff is also awesome, from the front desk to the lab techs -- I feel they really care about your experience. They also have a boarding facility, which I have used -- I would recommend it. The staff is, again, really amazing and they get to know your pets so well. If you are booking for around the holiday, I would make sure you book early!

Bubbles and Bows is a fine place to get a dog groomed, but I wouldn't say don't go anywhere else…read more Pros: right in the mall, so you can shop while waiting. Plenty of parking. Friendly staff with a cute interior. My dog seemed happy and the majority of the cut looked great! Cons: while the majority was great, in total, the cut itself was only alright. For instance, the sanitary trim was shaved down to skin which caused irritation for my dog (constantly licking area for a few days), his paws were left kind of boxed off rather than individually trimmed. And then there's the fact that you have to go through a door to the mall that says no pets to get to this place leaving you in an odd grey area of what's right and not. Personally, I prefer No Barks About It for a cut, although the inside isn't quite as cute. Also, I don't believe Bubbles has crates, so that could be a plus or minus depending on the temperament of your dog.

Literally shaving our shaggy 4 inch shaggy dog to the the consistency of an indoor outdoor carpet was extreme when the groomer stated she'd endeavour to retain her shaggy look... The result was a total misrepresentation of the outcome.... On top of that our dogs beautiful 2 inch eyelashes evaporated at the hand of our groomer.. Yikes! Won't revisit.
