This is the appliance guy you want. My refrigerator was running warm so I went online, filled out the service request form and JD responded within an hour or two. He came on time and was able to diagnose the problem in about 5 minutes; the fan that was supposed to be cooling the motor had gone bad. He was able to look up the part on the spot and give me a quote to get it ordered and changed out. He gave me some options to either repair it or it may be more worth my while to replace the refrigerator; he left it up to me and wasn't pushy at all. I decided to have him go ahead and order the parts and repair rather than replace. He told me the parts were coming from Oahu so it would take a few days for them to get here. Once they arrived he called to let me know and set up an appointment for the install. Again he was on time for the install, showed me the old part, showed me the new part after he installed it and before he put the covers back on. He also gave me some pointers to help keep everything running as best as possible to help with longevity. Called because refrigerator was no longer cooling. Explained that I had turned off the device for five minutes and replugged. He suggested to leave unplugged for an hour , then try plugging back. I also cleaned the condenser of dust. J D came early. He called first and explained he came come early. He wore foot covering before he came in to the house. Diagnosed that I had a faulty condenser . I bought a high-end, WIFI propane dryer from an individual that did not work (‍) so I called Aloha Appliance Repair and left a message. My call was returned in just a few hours (a small miracle here on the B.I. ) and I spoke with JD. Even though it was a holiday and extended weekend, JD was able to come to our house within 2 days! Not only was he able to fix our dryer (tripped circuit) but he only charged for the service call. He also diagnosed the fact that the failure to heat was due to the gas valve not opening properly and told us to buy a new hose and regulator before we spend money to replace the valve. And guess what? It was in fact the hose and regulator because we were sold the wrong one (‍‍). So obviously he is an HONEST repair man not looking to milk the customer. The entire repair call cost us less than $100!!! He is also incredibly knowledgeable and very personable. I highly recommend them for ALL of your appliance repair needs. read more
