This company seems to be defunct. Phone does not ring -- goes directly to an anonymous robo-message which does not indicate who owns the phone. No one ever returns calls. I've left at least four messages over time and never got a call back. I can only assume that the business closed in 2020. I wish I had known that before expending all that time and energy trying to time my calls on days and times someone might answer. Anyway, I hope someone confirms that this company no longer exists (and Yelp changes the listing accordingly) so other people won't waste their time as well. read more

We have just moved to Hawaii and our refrigerator would not start cooling. We called 2 other service providers before Appliance Repair Specialist. The first told me to just buy a new refrigerator. The second wasn't licensed to handle refrigerant. Both took days to return my call. When I called ARS they answered my call and scheduled an appointment in a timely manner. They were on time and diagnosed the issue quickly. They added refrigerant and told us to call them if the unit wasn't down to temperature in 24 hours. We called the next day to let them know the unit didn't reach temp. They were back out the next morning, added more refrigerant and got it to temperature immediately. I highly recommend this company for any appliance repair needs you may have! read more

A very personable and professional business. Aldene answered my call for my dryer. She tried to help me locate the dryer model number so she could get check and see if they had my dryer belt in stock, before she dispatched Eddie to my house. Unfortunately, we were unable to locate the model number. Eddie was then dispatched to my house within hours. He checked out my dryer and saw it was just the belt. Again we were unable to locate the dryer model number. Eddie said he would research it and order the belt. That afternoon we were able to get the belt ordered. Eddie came out this morning at my convenience, installed the belt. Aldene and Eddie are very professional, patient, personable people. I definately recommend them to anyone. Would definitely recommend. I was in a pinch and needed a dryer fixed asap prior to vacation (aka: lots of laundry to do and short amount of time). ARS made a special trip to my place same day call was made amongst their already booked schedule. They diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly and at a reasonable price. I needed my oven range converted from gas to propane, but because my range was brand new I needed someone certified to do the work. The lady that I spoke with on the phone was so wonderful! She was the only person out of the other 5 businesses that I spoke with who understood and explained what the manufacturer meant by certified and recommended someone she knew who was certified by the manufacturer and that she trusted to do the work. Very patient and helpful. I will definitely contact them again should I need any repairs outside of the warrenty. read more

Was looking for a good reliable repair person to fix my Whirlpool washer saw their business on yelp and liked the reviews. Receptionist was friendly and got me an appointment that day ( found out it was Eddies wife ) Quickly diagnosed problem and had the part with him which was a big plus. Eddie was informative and friendly. Overall I was satisfied with the service, I did pay more than I expected but I probably would've paid even more if I called Sears or other repair companies. Eddie and Eldeen Espino are 2 of the nicest people you will ever want to know. They gave me a realistic time of when they would arrive at my house, and was even able to come earlier than expected. (Eldeen asked if it would be okay to show up early). They were very professional, and the problem was identified and fixed in a matter of minutes. There was an expected charge for them to come to my house and it was a nominal amount, so I had absolutely no problem with that.
