Great knowledgeable doctors and staff. I'm not one who frequently visits the dentist but Aloha dental made me feel extremely comfortable.

Do not trust them with your teeth, your time, or your insurance. I went in December 2021 for a teeth CLEANING. They decided to only clean HALF my mouth but charged my insurance in full. Also, when I came for a follow-up for them to clean the other side, they texted me asking me to arrive an hour early. I obliged, and then they texted me again asking if I could come another hour earlier. I declined and came in at the other agreed-upon earlier hour. THEN they had me wait in the waiting room for 45 minutes. I stood up and told them I was cancelling the appointment for wasting my time. Of course, all the sudden, the dentist was now available. If I was 45 minutes late, they would not see me. I honestly should have taken the first time I went as a warning as they had me sitting in the dentist chair for an hour and a half before doing any work on me. Now, they claim that I have received checks in the mail that my insurance was supposed to send to them and that they were cashed. However, they won't provide any proof. So I called my insurance company to deal with them while also letting them know this dentist office did not do the full work they were supposed to do. After speaking with my insurance, not only did they confirm that the check they sent to the dental.office was LOST IN TRANSIT, but that it was obviously never cashed by ANYONE. This dental office lies to you. My insurance company also said they do not give out information on cashed checks to dental offices as well. I will also follow up with an attorney for fraud since I have the voicemail they left saying that I owe them money and they will send me to collections - something they CANT DO due to new laws. Plus, I don't owe them anything. They are trying to scam people into giving them more money than they are allowed. It's also a good thing I had them give me my records. Sending that to insurance as well since it PROVES they only did half my mouth IN WRITING. Do not waste your time! Find a respectable and reputable dentist. They also go by "Tooth Love Care" so keep that in mind as well. read more

Don't let the fancy lobby and waiting room fool you--with the snacks and juice bar. They might seem friendly, but you have been warned. Don't sign anything up front with "all the necessary work" they feel that you need done. They examine you ahead of time, explain to you what they think needs work, then make you sign at the bottom asking that you understand what they're telling you. Little did I know that the signature I believe was a way to sign off on everything they listed down, even when the work hasn't even been done yet (or will not even be completed). I have been coming here for years bribing me with their "free cash" "gift cards" and "raffle tickets" etc. Sounds too good to be true right? I was young and naive. I thought they were doing me a favor. However, all they saw me for was money in their pockets. They sure knew how to milk my insurance. They tried to squeeze every bit out of it. Oh, might I add..the work their 'so-called dentists' that worked there was a joke. I had to go back there a few times to get crap fixed/re-done because they did boo-boo work on simple fillings---fillings falling out and shit. I got frustrated having to come back in, take time off work, schedule another appointment, wait for more hours laying on my back while they multi-tasked everybody else.. I had to make sure they didn't take more out of my insurance for coming back for their screw-ups. I even told them I was back there to get it fixed "don't mistake it for new work done" and the assistant had to tell their receptionist to make sure it wasn't taken out of my insurance. ALSO..they used my insurance once for something they thought I needed after a procedure was done. They asked me to send them my insurance info to see if it was covered, then next thing you know I got the product mailed to me at my house before I even got the procedure done. I e-mailed them so many times following up if my insurance covered the product, never got a response, then boom they ordered and had it mailed to me. It wasn't even a full product, they were SAMPLES. I was supposed to approve it first as well. Again, using up my insurance. I never went back there, nor did I even get all the work done which I signed for. Since my last visit, they probably already went ahead and "did" the work--supposedly. Long story short, they do a lot of fishy things over here. They knew how to work the insurance and milked the hell out of it. Don't sign for anything that hasn't been worked on or done, or they'll use up your whole insurance for the year. read more

Wow what a disappointment. I had hoped to make it my new dental spot since it is so close to my office, but they've lost that chance multiple times now. The front desk seemed friendly enough at first as well as the dental hygienist but then they started agressively upselling me on procedures I didn't need. They had a mixup with my insurance that I had to call in a few times to ensure it was fixed. At first I thought, hey maybe its a simple mistake. I'll write that one off but now I'm offiically over this business. Every place that has held my patient records have been very forthcoming in sharing those files. This place charges you $30 for xrays even though it's a simple emailing of pictures (not printed copies). The new place I'm going to definitely doesn't do that. They try these gimmicky things like raffle baskets and snacks at the front to entice you in but really scam you out of your money on the big stuff. Don't go here!!!! read more

We are blessed to have found Aloha Dental Care because of the close location and the wonderful staff and doctor there. Their dental hygienist, Annie. Is the absolute best and we would never schedule a dental cleaning with anyone else but her! Place was okay when I started coming here. Referred my sister here but they kept giving her the round about. I even went to the extent to drop of her info so they can verify the insrnce prior to her weekend appmnt. Come the appmnt, her insrnce wasn't verified. They had a whole week to do it. She had to cancel any f/u schdl. I was really disappointed at how much their service has changed. When I went up to offer her paper work there was a girl sitting on the side sinlly eating and not caring. The only one doing all the paperwork was the girl with curly hair. It was a full Saturday and yet that girl was simply sitting doing nothing in the side chair where there was paperwork. Didn't even acknowledge me standing there or offer to help. Must've been someone new because I'd never seen her there. I hope my next visit there helps me change my mind about this place. read more

My last post was 2017 at my 1st Visit. I had to have a root canal then, I remeber the doc needed a instrument during the root canal and they didn't have it to get down into my root, she said "oh we will just use this one" 3 years later that crown popped off the entire inside of the tooth and gum was black and with a foul odor. "It was not done properly" Also, They did a build up on a crown and did not cover it or put a temp on, didn't warn me that it was exposed, and bit into some soft bread and The rest of the tooth I had broke off. This place is amazing! From the moment we walked it we were treated like family! I ha. 5 pm appointment but got here at 430 and they immediately started my paperwork! They even gave us sandwiches and chips! I have an 8 year old and they made him so comfortable he got a tooth removed in the Same visit! Xochitl is the front office manager and there was a spill in the lobby and she ran to the back in heels to grab a mop! Normally people of a higher management position look down on such a task but she owned it !!! I wish there was a higher level of stars because this place deserves it! We LOVE coming here as a family of 5 but they truly disappointed me today. My mom, visiting from Canada had a great experience with her consultation. She was a cash paying patient so we called around a few places and were willing to spend the extra $20 here because I assured her that they do good work and that it would be worth it. Day of the extraction, I went to pick up my mom only to notice they did not have a well experienced dentist working on my mom. My husband had seen him before and didn't have a good experience - he had trouble getting his mouth numb for a deep clean and didn't have a gentle hand. For my mom he had trouble getting the area numb, doing the actual extraction and stitching. So much so that not even 7 hours after the surgery, her stitches have begun to come out. Keep in mind this is NOT my moms first tooth extraction. She has had a 3-4 experiences so knew what to expect. This was not at all what I expected from them this time around. Now, here I am trying to make up excuses as to why this may have happened. Bleh. read more

My experiences here have been nothing but great and everyone I encounter at this office are nothing but nice, but I brought my mom here for the first time of 7/5/19 to get a check up and she was less than pleased because when I made the appointment, over a month in advance, for both of us at 11am, we didn't know then that they would be overbooked and understaffed. It is NEVER crowded there. I have been multiple times and it is always about 2-3 other people there, at the most. Granted, I usually go during the week and take off work early. However, I only received a call, text, and email practically everyday (including on actual 4th of July) reminding me of the appointment, even after confirming the appointment with an actual office employee on Tuesday, only for them to be overbooked. So I get my mom's frustration on being harassed about the appointment and threatened with a $25 fee for late cancellations, only for you not to be seen at your scheduled time. Now, the staff did their best to try and see my mom, wanting us to swap out the rooms, which was fine with me, but at this time it was already about 12:30, when the appointment was at 11am, and my mom was over it. Plus, she's claustrophobic and the office was overcrowded. Add that to the fact that she already has a phobia of the dentist. I will continue to go because while I do pay a lot even for having PPO insurance, I have never had any issues with the work. I am relaxed and would hate to go elsewhere when the dentist is never a place you just look forward to visiting in the first place. So, I am paying for comfort. My mom will be going elsewhere. read more

They are just taking it more as a business than anything else. They wanna make money of you somehow depends how much your insurance will pay them. My last appointment with them it took them about 6 injection to numb the area (for teeth extraction) while when i asked in different place they said they should have used a different way to numb the area. They explain procedures, work with you teeth-wise and financially to maximize your comfort and insurance. They're open on Saturdays, big plus for working folks, along with one Sunday a month! I had the most horrible experience ever here. I came in to get a check up before my insurance lapsed. They did the work. Upon completing my filling, I was told that it was done wrong. Sealant was put on my teeth before filling them. I was told if I had any issues which I probably would it will be fixed at no cost. The dentist that worked on me no longer works there. They are not honoring anything that they said. The dental assistant told me that I had a root canal before my filling was actually a root canal when I first came in and no one noticed and filled it and now it's infected from being enclosed. The dentist denied this but could show me the old xrays. Long story short they don't take accountability and they're a bunch of liars!!!!! Want me to pay $2,200.00 for the mistake. read more

Everywhere I've gone it's all about money, we can only do this we can start with this and before you know you're needing to fork out of pocket hundreds before they will even start on you. I went in for a check up and possibly a cleaning. I walked out 4 hours later on Saturday with an extraction, x-rays of course and an intensified cleaning on my upper right side!!!!! Amazing service!!! I typically hate going to the dentist however they were so sweet sooo kind! I had a very bad tooth that had caused an infection and needed to be pulled. Bare in mind it was a Saturday and emergency. I called in wondering if they were even open and the lady on the phone said they will have a dentist see me no problem! Soon as I get there they offered me snacks or coffee while I wait, soooo nice. They took care of me quickly and my dentist was Dr Mohammadi who was absolutely amazing. So so so gentle. His assistant Angel who also did my X-rays ways amazing as well. I was very nervous as I had to have my tooth extracted but I didn't feel a thing and angel was very comforting through the process.
