Terrible office unprofessional dentist she stopped working on my root canal she didn't finish said she had other patients and would refer elsewhere. I was nervous and told her I never had root canal before. I was shocked she was kicking me out pretty much and that's not all someone hit my car in their driveway I noticed and went to tell them to check their cameras I called the sheriff for report he asked them for the camera info and they weren't being cooperative. Stay away from this place. Worst experience ever. I didn't even want to give a one rating but had to.. I rate them zero!!!! read more

I have been a patient of this dental practice for almost 10 years and I have never had a problem with the services nor the staff. But in recent months, it has made me doubt coming here and actually pushed me to look into a better place with better customer service than this practice offers and also chose to leave because the person that helped me (Rosie) was not going to be part of the practice anymore. I have had two incidents involving with the front desk LIZ. She lacks customer service etiquette. I was recently scheduled for a dental cleaning which I did show up at my scheduled time. It turns out the hygienist had an emergency which is totally understandable. Well the office forgot to reach out to me to reschedule my appointment. When I arrive at this appointment Liz stated that the dental hygienist is not in and that someone was supposed to reach out to me. I told her that obviously no one did and instead of trying to make the situation better she just said "I WAS NOT HERE!", she lacks the desire to help the patient and make the situation better. I can understand someone has an emergency but the bad attitude given towards the patient is something else. I had also asked to reschedule my appointment and again instead of making it better she did not even try, pushed my appointment weeks out, that is plain ridiculous. I asked for Manager to call me and she failed to deliver my message. I had to call the office the next day which I called from my cell phone twice and because they have caller ID she knew it was me she did not answer (SHE WOULD NEVER ANSWER MY CALLS WHEN I CALL). I chose to call from my office number and the phone did not ring twice before she answered the call. I was given a dumb excuse that I had hung up before they could answer the phone. My missed appointment was rescheduled, I had to split my appointment into two sessions because of the time I went. Once I had to go back and see the actual dentist for my dental exam, I decided to not go there and find myself a new office which I did. Once I was supposed to go and see the dentist at the new office, I was instructed to have Avalon dental email my the X-rays that were taken the previous time. I called and I asked LIZ to send and very careless she said she will do it at the end of the day. When I show up to my appointment, the new office said they needed them and they would call for them to be sent since they were needed. LIZ had the audacity to say to them that she would send them when she had time and if she had time and she would proceed to charge $45. I am not sure if that is the actual protocol but I was NOT told this when I called myself. I had to take another set of X-rays because of the laziness of this woman. Do not go here, save yourself from the nightmare of dealing with someone that does not care about your experience at their practice. It is a shame that the good employees are gone. read more

I recently started going to this dental office after a horrible experience at Western Dental. Rosie and all the staff make you feel welcomed as soon as you walk in the door. Rosie remembered my name as soon as I walked in on my second appointment. All the staff is wonderful and friendly. The wait time is usually minimal, I think I was only delayed once over 15 to 20 minutes to bee seen but is understandable as situations arise that require the doctor's expertise. I know that if I have a difficult situation arise they will take care of it without rushing through, patience is a virtue that we must all learn. Dr Davani is a miracle worker. She is very detail oriented and made sure everything was perfect with my treatment. She is very professional and will tell you the honest truth, that I truly appreciate. I gave 3 stars because there were pros and cons to my visit (see details below), but in the end, I would recommend only visiting if you DO NOT have insurance. Pros: - Plenty of parking. - They made an appointment for me within 3 days for a chipped tooth. - Everything was clean / professional - All staff & doctors are very nice. Cons: - Had to wait 45 minutes in a very loud / crowded waiting room - There was confusion with my insurance even though they had my ID sent to them in 2 different forms. - There were videos playing at the dentist chair of different types of dental procedures... like watching clean surgery videos, and I found them quite disturbing. - It is a smallish office open to reception, so you can hear drilling while they make you wait in the lobby & speakerphone calls when waiting in the chair and waiting creepy teeth vids. - Even though I came in for a chipped tooth, they recommended 6 caps on my front teeth ($6800 with insurance & $7500 without insurance. They suggested "financing" but that is a lot to fix 1 chipped tooth. - When I asked for details, I was given that my options were an ugly cap with a dark line at the bottom or $1500 caps not covered by insurance. - It would take the 2 weeks to pre approve the dismal insurance payments and then an appointment to fit & another appointment to add the lab made caps. - They give whitening deals for good yelp reviews, so I am not I just wanted my chipped tooth fixed. I will look for a different doctor. read more

I had an appointment today and I'm very happy I came. The office is really clean and the staff is super friendly. The Doctor was very nice and patient, she explained the treatment I needed and was very thorough with her explanation. Once she was done explaining she took me to another little office where another girl came (I didn't get her name) and explained what my ins would cover and what would be my financial responsibility, she also was very nice and patient when explaining everything to me. I have never had a better experience at a dentist office than here at Avalon Dental. The staff and dr are all great in providing a comfortable inviting setting. I had not been to the dentist in years and the dr did not make me feel ashamed or guilty. She recommended a deep cleaning and fillings for a few cavities after reviewing my X-rays and instead of having me come back another day they had room for me that same day. Setting up an appointment is quick and easy and they have various times available. Rosie in the front office is amazing and very understanding. Although Rosy was nice, I was not pleased nor will I return. For a doctor to discuss your chart while working on another patient is in complete violation of HIPPA. I was soaked after cleaning hair was wet, and I didn't even feel clean. Complete dissatisfaction. I'm still waiting for owner to contact me as promised, however no response. Sought out professional advice and let's just if I were to remotely pursue anything, the end result would be in my favor due to violation of HIPPA. This place was amazing. I called yesterday for a tooth ache and they quickly set me up to come in today for an emergency visit. Come to find out I had to get my wisdom tooth pulled instead of having me come back they set me up for the extraction the same day. The doctor was great very kind and very quick. Wouldn't recommend this place. I was referred by someone to go here (most likely because you and your referral got a free outdated tablet at the time of your purchase of the Invisalign braces). I wanted to go the cheap route and get regular metal braces which I thought would have fit me better (due to the fact that I forget to do things sometimes, in this case, put in my trays of invisalign) but I was talked into getting it anyways. In the process of getting the buttons installed on my teeth, for some reason, as the solution was dripping out of the side of my mouth, I ended up with a chemical burn which now has turned into a scar. The receptionist who took my payment noticed that it was red before I went home, later that night, my skin peeled off. My next appointment came and I showed the doctor pictures I took of my face that night and she says that it's impossible for the solution to burn my face like that and all she said was sorry and the girl who worked on my teeth had already quit since then. As I knew that I would forget to use my trays some nights, by my last set of trays, my teeth were not as straight as I wanted them to be but the doctor said they looked straight to her. I have been coming to this dentist for over 10 years. Dr Kelishadi was my first dentist but she moved to the other office. She was amazing but now practices at the other office. Dr Davani is now the dentist here. There is no one else I would let do my dental work. I actually am terrified of the dentist but she has done all my fillings, and root canals and honestly they have been pain free. She waits until the numbing medication has taken full effect before as starts the work which is so important. I come every 3 months for a deep cleaning with Iman and she is great. She is gentle and takes her time. I love the office staff.. Linda and Rosie handles all the insurance and appointments and is on top of everything. They make sure I am on top of all my appts and procedures if I need them. They also get back to you quickly. The office is always clean. Couldn't ask for a better place. read more

I came in for my impacted wisdom tooth. The doctor prescribed me antibiotics for the swelling to go down. Then a few days later I had my extraction. I was a tad bit nervous. It's was painless and the doctor helped me feel at ease. The whole staff is so nice and helpful. They helped me get my insurance situation figured out because I had just switched carriers due to a new job. read more
