Dr. Killingsworth and each hygienist whom I've seen in the 10 or so years I've been a patient at Killingsworth Family Dentistry meets my rather exacting standards. I'm greeted warmly by name as soon as I walk through the door, and I never have time to open my Kindle to read before I'm welcomed by the hygienist and invited back to a pleasant and comfortable room for my cleaning and exam. The cleanings are always thorough and are done with care for my comfort. I'm given compliments on my oral hygiene and tips for how to continue to care for my teeth and gums as I get older. Dr. Killingsworth always comes in with a cheerful greeting to give my mouth a thorough exam, and she takes time to ask about what's going on in my life and with my family. Each visit ends with a pleasant encounter with Patti, the office administrator, to set an appointment for my next visit and to subtly handle any fees that my dental insurance doesn't cover. I had a dental emergency a few years ago, when I lost a crown, which resulted in an exposed nerve, which was very uncomfortable. It happened to occur on a national holiday, but Dr. Killingsworth didn't hesitate to open her office and to take care of my emergency and ensure my comfort with a temporary crown and a measurement with state-of-the-art equipment to order a permanent crown that fit perfectly on the first try, with no adjustment needed. I was so impressed and so grateful with how Dr. Killingsworth put my need and comfort ahead of whatever she'd had planned with her family on that holiday. My dad, a children's dentist, was frequently called out, at all hours of the day and night, when a child had a dental injury or other emergency that needed immediate care. In the days before cell phones or even beepers, I remember him leaving his call service phone number with people at movie theaters or at restaurants, just in case someone needed to get in touch with him. He always put a child's need for his care above his own convenience; Dr. Killingsworth provided the same care for my well-being, and I'm still so grateful. I couldn't recommend Dr.Killingsworth and her team any more highly. I actually look forward to my appointments every six months.

When I arrived at 3:30 PM, I was asked what I was there for, even though it should have been obvious from my appointment. After waiting 35 minutes, the dentist finally came in--not to apologize, but to guilt-trip me because there supposedly wasn't enough time to complete the fillings due to their own scheduling mistake. Instead of taking responsibility or offering a reasonable solution, I was made to feel like the inconvenience was somehow my fault. At that point, I told them I'd make it easy on everyone and take my business elsewhere. As I was leaving, I requested copies of my X-rays from my previous visit so I could find a competent dentist. The same front desk employee then gave me attitude and informed me they "legally have 30 days" to send them. That response perfectly summed up the level of customer service at this office. From start to finish, this was one of the most unprofessional healthcare experiences I've had. Poor communication, wasted time, no accountability, and rude staff. If you value your time and expect basic professionalism, avoid this office and find a dentist that respects its patients.

I made an appointment on 25 June 2026 to have my chipped tooth repaired, and when I did so the…read moreexpectation that was set by the receptionist was that if the damage is minor, the procedure could be done on the same day. On the day of my appointment, I arrived early as requested by the office staff, and my appointment started late. After the hygienist took my blood pressure and an x-ray of my damaged tooth, I waited for six or seven more minutes for the doctor to arrive. Upon her tardy arrival, I was informed by Dr. Kwon that an additional doctor would be monitoring the consultation, to which I agreed. Dr. Kwon briefly examined my damaged tooth and concluded that the damage to it was minimal (20% of the back of the top portion of the tooth missing). However, I was told that due to short staffing the filling that would be required couldn't be completed that day, and the receptionist told me after the consultation concluded that the next available appointment wasn't until fifteen days later (10 July). I reminded her that I would have to live with a jagged tooth until then, and the receptionist's unempathetic and seemingly unconcerned reply was that 10 July was the next available appointment. Today's visit was a complete waste of my time, after having rearranged my morning work schedule to fulfill the appointment. No doubt, however, that despite not completing the work, my insurance and I will be billed for this appointment. Quite the racket. If the office was so "short-staffed", then there wouldn't have been another fully-qualified dentist observing Dr. Kwon. On the contrary, if one doctor is observing the other, it would seem that they have a staff surplus. Further, the receptionist did a poor job of setting an accurate expectation as to when the procedure could be completed; i.e., I was told that a relatively minor procedure could be completed same day, yet was sent away after being told they couldn't provide a minor tooth filling for another 1/2 month. It's amateur hour at this dentist office. I've lived with it since moving to the area in 2020 because the staff is polite and my dental needs have been minimal. But after today I won't return to Cornerstone Dental in Parker, CO for my dental needs; there are plenty of other, more capable and more professional dentist offices in the area. Unless you are desperate and have no other options, I suggest you avoid this place.

Both my daughter and I were given paperwork about what we would owe before we had the procedures done. They claim they got the estimates directly from our insurance. If so, how can they be wrong on what insurance will pay? I have paid my portion for what I was quoted and they now say I owe more. This is a scam. Insurance pays the negotiated fee, if this dentist wants more than the negotiated fee then don't take my insurance. My daughter was charged double what she was quoted! The office staff was rude and condescending when questioned about the additional billing. Their billing incompetence to get insurance estimates correct should not be the patients responsibility. This difference should be a write-off to the dentist and a wake up call to get staff that can get the insurance quotes correct the first time.

I have THE BEST hygienist I could possibly imagine now. Amy takes her time, connects with me emotionally, senses when I'm feeling anxious and stops. On my first appointment, I had the sedation options explained to me and I started with laughing gas, though if needed, I could take prescription meds or they will even put you out under anesthesia to do your dental work. For me, I use the gas, lay under a comfy blanket with headphones and DirecTV on. It's a great environment and so very loving. I've progressed to not obsessing about my appointments, I'm able to sleep the night before and I don't cry anymore. I love Meadows so much that I referred my husband, who doesn't have a problem getting his teeth cleaned here. He didn't like his former dentist and tried Meadows (again- LOVE Amy!) and saw what I meant. We do not live close to Meadows- I'm up by the airport and it's in HR, but I will drive wherever for this type of care.

I have been going to see Dr. De La Paz for a few months now and I waited to write her a review until I had all of thoughts together. After several visits on my own, my mom decided to give her a try too after hearing how comfortable she's made me. I have to tell you that going to the dentist is probably one of my least favorite things to do but Dr. D makes it really easy. Her team works BEAUTIFULLY together and the staff members really treat each other like family which makes you feel extra comfortable in place you don't really want to be. Bring your checkbook or cash to save yourself the credit card fees. They offer an in-house plan that gets you your cleanings, and a discount on services which works well for those without dental insurance. They're a clean office with a team of people who genuinely care about you. I don't say this lightly; they really do care. You just have to go for yourself to see what I'm talking about but I don't think you will be disappointed. I sure wasn't.
