I reached out to Nikki about training for my new puppy. She responded with a standard pitch detailing her credentials and a premium rate of $200/hour, claiming she trains dogs "in a different way" than others. Naturally, before investing that kind of money and inviting someone into my home, I politely asked if she had any short video clips of her training style so I could understand her methodology. Her response was incredibly curt and defensive: "No i dont have social media you are requesting. My training is very personal and not media income for me." I didn't care about social media; I cared about understanding her teaching style. Because finding a trainer is about compatibility and trust, I actually went out of my way to apologize for any misunderstanding and asked if she could point me to any online video of any trainer with a similar style, just so I could get a rough idea of what to expect. Instead of a professional response (like suggesting client references or pointing to her Yelp reviews), she completely shut down the conversation: "I have provided the information I provide to all my clients. It seems we will not be a good fit." Nikki expects clients to blindly commit to a $200/hour rate with zero visual proof or demonstration of her "unique" methodology. When asked basic, polite questions to ensure a good fit, she met me with defensiveness, a complete lack of flexibility, and a curt dismissal. If a trainer is this defensive and difficult to communicate with before you even hire them, imagine how stressful it would be to work with them. There are plenty of highly qualified trainers who welcome questions and treat prospective clients with respect--IMO go to them instead. I've attached our communication as proof.

As we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the staff members and were told that if we had any questions then they would be more than happy to assist. They also offered treats for our fur babies which is always a bonus! The store was neatly organized with plenty of walking space for owners and their pets to roam around. We came specifically for some birthday hats and accessories and were pleased to find it close to the entrance. As we were trying different hats, one of the employees Arrow offered to take some pictures of our birthday girl and told us that they offered a birthday goodie bag. We were delighted to hear this as who doesn't want to spoil their precious puppy on their special day? It took only a few minutes for them to get us a bag and Arrow also mentioned that we get 25% off treats, toys and food that could be used with the same year. What a steal! We decided to get them some hides (our dog picked them out for his sister and himself) and dog food. We came in for a birthday hat but left happily with much more. The genuine care for their customers and pets was very clear. From friendly and professional customer service, all types of products, and one of those neat water dispensers for dogs and cats was fantastic! We will be back!

Every staff we've encountered has made us feel like our puppy is special and so loved! Recently, our puppy hurt her paw, and Aloe and her team actually cleaned and took care of our puppy as her own for so many days, not just once. They are incredibly inflexible and lack customer service to even fool me into thinking they like dogs. Some examples: My first day there my dog was excited and went up to the owner wagging his tail trying to greet her, and she responded that she couldn't pet him "because she just put lotion on her hands" WTF you own a dog daycare? This happens every time we drop off...the people working there don't even get up from the desk to say hello to him or verbally greet him...and he is a SWEET and well behaved dog. Also I asked if they have puppy cams like other daycares so we can watch our dogs and they replied that the "wifi isn't strong enough". Multiple times they have been inflexible with small and reasonable drop off accommodations that are standard fare at other daycares I use. I asked if they could let my dog watch me leave before whisking him into the back to help with his separation anxiety (takes all of thirty seconds). Even when there are absolutely no other customers there they find the need to remind me of how "unworkable" this accommodation is. Most recently, I was four days late paying an invoice and they called me to remind me about it THREE TIMES, and also emailed me. All other daycares I use bill weekly or biweekly, and I"m used to paying invoices as such. I understand if their policy is due at time of service, but it is the way they went about handling the situation that was incredibly offputting. This place has NO LOVE, NO HEART, NO SOUL, and definitely won't get my business anymore.
