The cashier was really lazy. She asked me to put the items into the shopping paper bag for her after she scanned them.

As we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the staff members and were told that if we had any questions then they would be more than happy to assist. They also offered treats for our fur babies which is always a bonus! The store was neatly organized with plenty of walking space for owners and their pets to roam around. We came specifically for some birthday hats and accessories and were pleased to find it close to the entrance. As we were trying different hats, one of the employees Arrow offered to take some pictures of our birthday girl and told us that they offered a birthday goodie bag. We were delighted to hear this as who doesn't want to spoil their precious puppy on their special day? It took only a few minutes for them to get us a bag and Arrow also mentioned that we get 25% off treats, toys and food that could be used with the same year. What a steal! We decided to get them some hides (our dog picked them out for his sister and himself) and dog food. We came in for a birthday hat but left happily with much more. The genuine care for their customers and pets was very clear. From friendly and professional customer service, all types of products, and one of those neat water dispensers for dogs and cats was fantastic! We will be back!

It is named after Mud Bay Road, the location of its first store (the road being named for the body of water nearby). My daughter needed to get some gourmet (think refrigerated) for her new dog, so we tagged along. It's a very large store inside, with pets being encouraged to come in. The staff was super friendly and helpful. You will find a lot of brands that you don't see in the super-pet stores that we used to frequent. One interesting learning that I recently obtained is the existence and use of a 'bully stick' for dogs. Mud Bay has a large selection of all shapes and sizes.

I've been to lots of pet stores so far and I keep on returning his food bec he doesn't want to eat, my girlfriend told me about this place and boy was she right! I bought a lot from this store bec it's very good ingredients and less preservatives! This store will be my main store from now on! I'll keep on buying from here because I love the customer service and Archie loves the food that Katlyn recommended! He loved all that she suggested too! I bought a bunch of meal toppers and his new food which to my delight he scuffed in seconds and this was before me hand feeding him since he would sniff the food I gave him from PetSmart! I also like how clean this place is too! If you're looking for a healthy supermarket to buy your animals' needs then this is the place! They have amazing customer service and look for Katlyn too! Located in the Overlake Crossing strip mall in Bellevue, WA, this instance of the giant pet chain,…read morePetSmart, consists of every need that a pet owner might want. We stopped in for some doggy hand treats, doing an exchange for more chicken based from a beef liver based that was harder to use. My daughter couldn't find her email receipt to do the exchange, but the cashier/associate was able to look up the purchase based on the phone number and do the exchange without much problem. It did take a bit of time, so I had the opportunity to walk around the large store. Besides pet supplies for cats and dogs, it also sells/services fish and reptiles, including live bait and food. There is a Banfield Pet Hospital inside as well. Banfield and PetSmart continue to have a partnership (even though PetSmart no longer owns Banfield). We used to use them for our dog years ago, and learned that Banfield really depends on the veterinarian or chief of staff at the clinic. To complete a pet owner's need, the location also has a 'doggieday camp' and petshotel (overnight). My daughter told me that since last year, the the petshotel no longer has an employee overnight on-site. I also learned that Chewy was at one point, owned by Petsmart, but they split apart into separate entities. Chewy (as primarily an ecommerce company) now has greater net sales than Petsmart (2023)...really shows how ecommerce in many cases has overtaken retail for product (i.e. food) that works well on a subscription model.

Last year, our kids were given two gerbils who were around four years old, so when nature took its course (RIP Nibbles and Snugs), they were heartbroken. After holding a memorial service and cleaning out the cage, they looked up at me with hopeful eyes and a "Dad... do you think maybe...?" Yeah yeah, OK. There are lots of big box pet stores in the area, but I'm making the assumption that a smaller local shop likely treats their animals better and hopefully sources more ethically too. In any case, I'd rather shop local when I can and the prices are competitive. I called to see if they had any gerbils available and Aela let us know that they had some males in store. She said to ask for her when we came by. About an hour later, we dropped by and found Aela. She brought the gerbils out in their enclosure and was great not only with the animals, but my very excited children as well. She answered our questions and seemed to really enjoy her job, which makes it so much more fun for everyone involved. She took care of getting them in a box with some bedding and sent us off with smiles all around. I'm so thankful that Denny's is part of the neighborhood, and for great employees like Aela who make the experience fun.
