The basic vanilla Moche doughnut was pretty good at $2.75 each, however the traditional doughnuts tasted very bad(twist,apple fritter,cinnamon rolls)They tasted stale like 2 day old doughnuts. I ordered two apple fritters and one of them tasted a lot more stale than the other, like 4days, it just lead me to believe that one was way older than the other. What's funny is that they only had two apple fritters left‍The service had me cracking up because once my husband and I walked in, I immediately knew what time it was!! All the music that was playing, the lyrics weren't bad. I told the young lady that assisted us that they were grooving in there, lol, she laughed, which was fine, the people In the back were having fun. My daughter had been wanting to try Aloha donuts for a long time so today was the day ! Located right next to Sprouts, you are able to find ample parking and easy access to the storefront. I have been here twice now and the first experience I had a few months ago was good! I was helped by a sweet girl who was very enthusiastic, esp when she saw my K-pop photocard hahaha. The employees even drew cute doodles on my box. The mochi donuts were good, and I had no complaints. I came for a second time to get donuts for a friend's birthday (May 3rd at 11 AM), and didn't have the same experience. I was not greeted, which usually is not a big deal to me. But when I went up to order, the girl at the register was messing around with her male coworker in the middle of my order. Literally had her back towards me, and it looked like they were tickling each other and giggling away. I just stood there for a sec until I had her attention again, and she continued to take my order with the coldest demeanor, and not even an apology. Just want to note this was a different girl from the first time. I felt it was extremely rude but I placed my order anyway. I understand that most of the employees here might be young high school students but I expected at least common decency. Anyway, might be back, might not be. My husband and I stopped by Aloha Donut around 1:00 P.M on a Saturday afternoon after an event nearby! When we pulled into the parking lot to go to Eight Turn Crepe, we saw Aloha Donut and knew we had to stop by for some mochi donuts! Aloha Donut is located off of the 215/Losee exit. You can get coffee, tea, and even Boba beverages! Some of their other options to select from includes slush drinks where you can choose from flavors such as Lychee, Oreo, Taro, and even a coffee slush! There was one team member at the front making drink orders, picking out the donuts and ringing up customers at the register. We waited about 15 minutes to place our order. My husband and I split a Samoa mochi donut. The Mochi donut had a chewy texture and a airy lightness! It was delicious. 1200 visit on Thursday March 7th Review #13 of 2024 What a delightful visit to this establishment! My wife and I showed up after my VA appointment as we live on the Southeast side of the valley. My wife found this gem on a web search so we made extra plans for when we're near the area. I love that this business has a double set of doors which makes it easier for me to get in if I'm on my power chair. The handicap parking stalls are directly in front of the business for those with mobility issues. For those on the fence, drop on by if you're in the area or plan a little drive out and look for the QR code on the left side of the doors and scan for a new guest bonus Everything we tried here was delicious. My favorite was ube, yet everything was so ono that I cannot truly say I favor one over the other. We took the rest home and our children enjoyed the rest. We've purchased boxes and brought them as gifts, both for our neighbors at Christmas and for family in CA. Everyone who's had them loves them. There's usually a rotation of six flavors, from strawberry, ube cheesecake, and cookies and cream, to seasonal ones at the holidays like gingerbread and peppermint. Our most recent purchase of six had taro, cookie butter, strawberry, ube cheesecake, milk tea, and cookies and cream--my favorite is strawberry. If you don't want a mochi donut, Aloha also has some classic donuts, croissants, and cruffins (a combination of a croissant and muffin). They have coffee drinks, but I haven't had any of those. Found this new opening the other week and so happy we did! It's a cute mochi donut shop with drink availabilities as well. I'm a huge fan of mochi donuts because of the chewy texture! They have delicious unique flavors such as ube cheesecake, Hokkaido tea, taro milk tea, strawberry and another flavor I couldn't remember but they were all sooooo good! I wonder if they change flavors weekly but honestly I'd be down to try all their new flavors! The donuts are so fresh and soft and can last a few days before they start getting a little stale. Finally! A mochi donut place I really liked! I had my first mochi donut maybe 2 months ago and I'm not completely sold but always willing to try new things. This is the 3rd business I tried and these are good! I had the brownie and pumpkin and a normal donut plus their vanilla latte. The latte is good, a tad too sweet for me. I was skeptical when they didn't offer Kona, since it's an "aloha" themed spot. The cashier assured me it's fresher because it's locally sourced Dark Moon coffee. I said I'd be down to try it. The coffee was a big letdown. I ordered a mocha and it honestly tasted like straight milk barely any coffee or chocolate flavor at all. If you're coming here just for donuts, you'll be happy. But if you're hoping to pair them with a good cup of coffee, you might want to look elsewhere for now.
