I was in this area for an appointment and this was the closest non-chain donut place on my map quest. I almost didn't go on when I pulled up and some shady guy was hanging out in the front. He started walking away though so I parked and pulled in and really glad I did! The donuts here are classic, large, and cheap. They tasted like the ones I get in family-owned donut places in Cali. They were moist, chewy, and soft. They also had some Mexican baked goodies like conchas on the side. I bought one of those too and it was one of the best of I've had! On the other side they sell cigarettes which was kinda weird but probably not for this part of town. The next time I am in this area again I will definitely make another stop here! read more

Stopped at 4:50am on our way out of town. Had second thoughts pulling into the lot, adjacent to truck stop. Place is sketch-city. Walked in and was overwhelmed with all that was going on inside. Everything was behind plexiglass...bullet-proof? I don't even want to know, it was super weird that early in the morning. Someone came in and got cigarettes or something at another window. Tried to stay in my lane and mind my own business. Cameras all over inside. What goes on in there??? Anyway, donuts looked really good and tasted decent. Nothing special, but not bad. I was so excited to get a donut and when we arrived there was a musty smell but I still wanted to go ahead and try the donuts. Then I saw a lady mopping the kitchen floor and the mop was placed inside the sink where they wash the dishes. She then proceeded to come help the next customer still wearing the same gloves she was moping with. That was disgusting. That did it for us and we left immediately. I stopped by, craving a maple bar, and was presently surprised @ this hole in the wall, old fashioned donut & more shop. Filled with appealing donuts in their glass cases, they also have burritos, & other Latino goodies to take out, I saw Thrifty ice cream in their hand scoop freezer & speciality fruit drinks . Great spot for donuts, Mexican pan, tacos, tamales, sandwiches, tortas, ice cream... tons more! This is my third time coming here, it's located in the smack middle of a parking lot. It definitely looks sketch but hear me out... good sandwiches and donuts! It has not failed us, we keep coming back because it's been worthy of the drive. First of all I'm not sure what an unreal doughnut is, I never met a doughnut I didn't like. My wife had a co-worker reccomended this place and it really doesn't look like much when you pull up but it's well worth the time to go in. First of all these are the biggest doughnuts I have ever seen, I mean you could probably use one as a spare tire if needed. They are delicious (ok that's redundant all doughnuts are delicous) and they have some flavors I would never think go together but they make them work. They have other things too but don't ask me what they are because I've never actually looked as my eyes were on the doughnuts. Super busy in the morning, inside was small but they have a vary large variety of foods to choose from not only do they serve donuts but they sale Mexican food. Service was decent the lady wasn't very polite. Prices are super expensive too. For 12 donuts it's $16 and that's just your basic donut if you get jelly filled add an extra $1.50 to that. My husband and I frequent this place during the winter, because of their champurrado and tamales.
