Back to a 5!!! PCP came out to address a small leak and they fixed it. It was a challenge to find because each visit was on a dry day. So this time they got a hose to simulate water on the roof, found the problem and fixed it. Their customer service is 5+ for their patience with me and we love our patio cover. We had an old patio cover from like the 80's that was way past end of life. One of the important items was the large paver patio that we wanted to preserve. After getting quotes from a few companies, we chose Patio Cover People. They did a great inspection and quote and scheduled the install. The cover was installed in one day. Complete professionals in tearing out the old cover and getting the new cover installed, taking care not to disturb the lawn and also making sure the pavers were reset and looked like they were never touched. it was a pleasure it was working with Patio Cover People. Starting with Ryan, who showed up for our initial appointment on time and fully prepared with samples. He took measurements, created an estimate, and fully explained all of the options available. Later Ryan responded promptly whenever I texted or emailed him with questions. Because of Ryan's presentation, we decided to have Patio Cover People do the work. The follow up by mail, and later by phone to set up the construction date, were added pluses. On the construction date Matt, Jake, and Tom arrived on time. While Matt explained the process, the others wasted no time unloading the work trailer and setting up the job site. We were impressed with how quickly they dismantled the old pergola and the care they took in removing it. The new patio cover went up exactly the way Ryan had explained it would. Matt graciously answered all of our questions during construction. After the work was completed, the team cleaned up the patio area better than it was when they arrived. Too many companies "talk-the-talk" of great customer service but fail in meeting it. Patio Cover People exceeded all of our expectations of what great customer service should be. We had the patio people replace our glass sunroom ceiling as it leaked again 2 years after they tried to fix it. They had not installed it originally. They were very pleasant we chose not to go with glass and they installed a fiberglass ceiling. Less than 2 years later tiny flies got in between the layers. We were told that wasn't covered but they could come out and clean it and put some tape on it to prevent it from happening again. That would cost us 600$. I replied back asking for a quote on returning to glass and they never responded. I believe it was their mistake for not putting the tape on initially. We were sold on the product - we've been wanting a patio cover for the 10 years we've been in our home and this was the year. After researching all options Justin's product allowed for retaining the most light into the house compared to traditional covers. After installation (which only took 2 hours) I wondered if we overpaid, but I have to keep reminding myself that of the cost was the new extra-large (12' x 24') concrete patio we had poured. Taking that out of the equation the cover itself was competitive with traditional options and looks more modern and contemporary. The only issue was the crew was 1 hour late and didn't call. Justin had changed our install date, pushing it back 2 days, but called to inform us (ran late on another job). They made up for their tardiness by finishing sooner than anticipated. Oh, they also didn't put our gas grill or table back onto the patio which, from a quality/customer service POV you'd expect. read more

Not only was he able to deal with our odd situation, he designed an absolutely beautiful patio cover that compliments our home and patio perfectly. I love my new sunroom that the patio cover people built for me. Everytime i go in there, i feel the peace and quite. It is so relaxing just to sit in there. I like that in the summer, it is not too hot inside it. Of course if it is above 90 out it would be but that is too hot to be outside anyway. We have a very large deck with two different roof lines.. I had this dream of not having to put in a cover that needs to be a solid roof with just skylights and many said, with this size cover we have to. Well, I'm glad I didn't listen and waited. We came across Justins add in a local paper and check out his website. The pictures spoke to me and my husband wrote an email on the weekend. Justin called that very same day and scheduled and appointment to come out and look at our deck. He proposed options and gave us his experienced opinion on what would work better. We regret ever contacting Justin from Patio Cover People, LLC . Justin painted a fantastic picture of the work to be done and was quick to get the 50% down payment ($10,566, exactly). With the amount we were to be paying for the project, we thought Justin was going to give us excellent customer service. However, the rest was a nightmare. Justin was to provide us with different mesh samples, but never had the decency to come to the house to show us samples nor mail the samples as he said he would after he couldn't come to the house. We constantly had to call him for a follow up. Justin also changed the date of the work, without even telling us. I just happened to casually ask him if we are still on for the date he had told us and that's when he said he changed the date. We had to cancel everything with Justin, as we could no longer trust him to be accountable and professional. Justin never apologized. We were ready to take him to court after not having heard from Justin after cancelling. We did eventually receive the check for the deposit, however he kept a fee. Do not do business with Justin. read more

CAUTION! I was generally happy with the cover despite the long time lags between giving the deposit for the job in September of 2019 and the actual completion. The owner, Justin Wicks, hasn't been to the job since I gave him the deposit, leaving it to others to complete. I have gutter damage, fascia damage, and roof damage directly attributable to the work. He will not respond to photos proof from subsequent contractors assessing the damage. My new gutters warranty is nullified by the placement of the phalanges brackets that cover them. I continue to wait for contact from Mr. Wicks to mitigate while paying others to correct the problem before rain falls and winter. Next step, contractor bond complaint. read more

After changing the install date 3 times the crew finally showed up when i wasn't home and they proceeded to install the footings 18" in the wrong direction!!!!!! At that point there was nothing I could do to get them to start over. If they would have showed up for the initial install date and time THIS WOULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED!! Justin and his team removed my existing aluminum covering on my patio and replaced it with the Acrylite cover. What a difference it has made!! It was shocking to realize how much light I had been missing out there! Everyone was professional and timely...they even installed earlier than they anticipated.
