    Nico eating a Pineapple Paradise
    Nikkeya M.

This cute decorated trailer known as the Aloha Fresh is parked outside of the Albertson's in Eagle. It has been awhile since my snow cone days when you could just simply get a 50 cent tigers blood snowcone in a plastic cone cup that usually melted into the snowcone so we were all eating chunks of plastic. Things are definatly moving on up. Service was a little meh but it was 8:00pm and 100 degrees so I don't expect anyone to be overly friendly in those conditions. Right when we walked up instead of a hello we got a "We're out of strawberries". Maybe we got there right when they were closing but I didn't observe any signs of closing or posted hours. I was just surprised they were open and happy to try it out! They had a table with an umbrella next to the trailer where you could eat and enjoy the fading heat. The snowcone was great. I got the pineapple paradise and I really enjoyed the fresh fruit and the flavor mixed with cream. It's likely a new addiction. I'm not sure what the price of snowcones are running for these days but I paid $10 for 2 cups. Seemed pricey but again the last time I had a snowcone Savage Garden was popular so theres that. It is a large portion though. **** IF YOU take anything from this I highly encourage you to share one save your money and it won't melt as quickly**** Just what I plan on doing the next time. Can't wait to try the other flavors!

Pretty cute little trailer for shaved ice. Ordered the Kauai which is strawberries and cream with honey and coconut. We went around 3 pm and there was no wait and they were pretty quick to give us our shaved ice. The real reason for 4 stars is because it could use more strawberries and flavoring. The top tasted like just ice so I felt it was a little bland but once you get to the bottom it was pretty good.

Snocones we're good, but the wait was crazy. I was third in line, and it took 43 minutes. Only 1 worker inside and incredibly slow.

Atomic Pops This Treasure Valley food truck sells…read moresmall-batch gourmet popsicles, including several non-dairy options. Atomic Pops uses high-quality ingredients, organic fruits and no artificial colors. On 9/7/19, I and MH tried the Key Lime Pie and a seasonal Peaches and Cream that uses Emmett peaches. Hands down, the Key Lime Pie was the best key lime flavored item I've ever had, including all of the key lime pies I've tried over the years. If you even think you might enjoy this flavor, you must give it a try. By comparison, the Peaches and Cream was less creamy and much more subtle in flavor. I love fresh peaches but unless you have a tree of your own, It is very difficult to find peaches that have not been picked before they are ripe. Peaches will continue to ripen once they have been picked, but the end result will never be as good as if they had been left on the tree to ripen. Given that, I think I am much more likely to enjoy Atomic Pop's other flavors. Atomic Pops also offers "Pup" sicles for $1 for your four-legged family members. Please note that although Atomic Pop's popsicles are $5 during Art in the Park, the are normally priced at $3.50 each. Atomic Pops does a great job of posting their schedule on the free app, StreetFoodFinder.I also encourage you to check out their Instagram page, which will give you a sense of all of the wonderful flavors that await you. Highly Recommended!!!

Wow! This was sooo delicious…read more Had the birria quesadilla this week. It was loaded with tender beef, and perfectly melted cheese. A cup of tasty sauce and jalapeño slices on the side make for a delightful meal at a Boise Neighborhood Concert in the Park. The only knock - spendy.

My friend and I were having coffee at Form and Function a couple weeks ago. We had talked about…read moregetting food from Crisp. We didn't have time to grab food that day. So of course we made new plans, made sure our schedules are were open so we can snag a meal after a round of coffee. Today was that day! I did check out the menu online the night before. I like to see what they have and what their menu entails. The red curry coconut noodles really caught by eye! Noodles, broth, curry!?! 3 of my favorite things in a bowl! So,I went to the food truck feeling 100% in my food choice. Well, the red curry noodles were not an option so I had to look over the menu again. Total bummer since I had my heart and stomach set on it. After reading the menu board over and over again and it was still early enough that ordering breakfast wasn't weird, I decided on the Croque madame. Grilled ham and cheese with an egg, it sounded good. My sandwich did not look like it came out of a food truck. It also doesn't look like it should be in a to go container. My sandwich was a work of art! The egg was cooked perfectly. The fondue sauce was snow white. The pieces of cilantro added a beautiful color to it and was nicely sprinkled all over. It was just too pretty to eat! This sandwich is messy so the fork and knife that was provided for me was used! The bread was very soft and fresh! It toasted and buttery. There was so much ham! It made the sandwich very hearty. The egg yolk was runny and jammy. The cheese fondue was rich and savory. The heirloom tomatoes added a nice freshness to the sandwich. All together it was a very thick sammy. All the flavors were fantastic but it did get overwhelming to eat after few bites. I enjoyed the fondue but it was a lot for me. The fondue is very rich and you add all the other elements and it gets to be too much. If I order this again, I'll probably order it without the fondue. There's already cheese in the sandwich so it was overwhelming with the cheese sauce added to it. My friend ordered the chipotle breakfast sandwich and it looked amazing. It was simple and it looked like something I would have really enjoyed vs what I had ordered. I did ask the gentleman in the food truck if they will have the curry noodles anytime soon. With the cold weather coming, they are anticipating the noodles too be back. I look forward to that! I haven't frequented many food trucks but this one has really set the bar high! The quality of the ingredients used were fantastic and fresh. The service was great. The food truck itself was pretty neat. The location is fun and chill. I know we will be back and I look forward to having that bowl of noodles. If not noodles then I'm sure I will be able to find something that will be delicious.

Kanak Express food truck, Sunday July 13th lunchtime at Green Acres Boise…read moreBeen awhile since I had visited Kanak Attack, the food truck started up in 2009 and the business model now includes a mobile group that supports fire fighter activities, as well as a permanent catering division at Lake Harbor with a restaurant. As with any food truck, some of the hardest part of finding them is knowing where to look. I've had the best luck by following Kanak on Instagram, but you can also look up Green Acres by Shoreline Drive on Pioneer street (new location) to see the multiple trucks scheduled that week. Another source I use a lot is the Treasure Valley Food Truck Finder (formerly Boise Food Trucks) on Facebook. Like most food trucks that feature proteins, the prices have jumped up in the last two-three years. A salad with protein is the best bet for bargain hunters at $10, or the three tacos (see menu photo) but I have found that getting the twenty dollar "Two Entree Plate Lunch" works out pretty good as it's usually enough for one meal immediately and another reheated in the microwave (rice) and air fryer (meat). The plate lunch includes a) choose a rice, b) choose a salad and c) choose a protein. My favorites are the Kalua Pig, which is smoky, shredded pork that is juicy, not overly fatty, but maybe to salty for some. I saved most of this and made enchiladas the next day at home. Teriyaki chicken is the same price, add a $1 for the Katsu Chicken which was juicy and crispy with the breaded fried exterior and includes a dipping sauce that's a little sweet and addictive, it's so good. Used to plain macaroni salad? Hawaiian style is a little different, but delicious and is usually the first side I finish. If you are a first timer, don't be afraid to ask for help figuring out what to order, the crew usually takes the time to answer questions and guide you. The menu is pretty well organized into sections.

Worth eating here if you are at the Green Acres Food truck park.
