I am going to start off by stating that I know I am in the minority here, but the burger just wasn't for me. The menu was limited, which I understand (it's a food truck after all), but the burger had so much going on that I couldn't taste the flavors of the individual ingredients. I am a burger purist and like to keep it simple. If you want to be the best, I think you need to focus on the basics and not hide behind toppings. The service was fine: friendly and fast.

We hired Sear + Savor and to provide food for a yearly garden party in Eagle. They showed up in their mobile kitchen/food truck and got to work grilling the BEST burgers! They had great salads, delicious fries and wonderful attitudes! I highly recommend this family owned local business to anyone whether you see them at one of their locations like Barbarian Brewing in Garden City, a local festival, or a private party. Their mobile business is battery powered by Joule Case batteries (another Boise local business), and their food is powered by love, master craft, and attention to detail. The burgers come well put together and wrapped ready to eat. The fries are crispy and the fry sauce is the perfect blend. Thank you Sear + Savor helping to make our event a success!!

So we've seen smash pop up at a few places here or there the past few months. We finally happened to be at the same brewery as them one night so we snagged a single burger before we left. That burger got scarfed down so fast. Immediately we both looked at each in the car with the look of "holy heck!! That's a winner!!" We finally had time to search them out again, they were back at our favorite brewery. So we stopped for burgers and stayed for beer. Their burgers are the perfect ratio of beef to bun to condiments. Which is one of the reasons I don't order burgers at restaurants, it's 90% beef, if I wanted that I'd order a steak. So we appreciate the fact they're playing the perfect game of balance with their burgers. **pssst, secret time... come here*** They have a secret menu item called the P3. It's a burger with bacon and peanut butter. Trust us... it surprised the heck out of us. Anyways, back to the review. They're now our go to burger place, yes even since the "not so small burger joint opened up recently". Because their stuff puts them to shame easily. The family that runs it is extremely nice and friendly and we loved standing there chatting about stuff while we waited. Bummed that we can only give 5 stars. Easily best burger food truck in treasure valley.

Gluten free friendly! This was the best smashed combo of beef onions peppers potatoes... heavenly!

I was delighted to try this food truck at the Eagle Country Christmas (@ Heritage Park)... there was a few gluten free options... I can't recall what they called the smashed goodness I had... but it was clearly excellent quality ingredients, cooked perfectly... & on a rainy night... an extra satisfyingly warm meal... that really filled me without being too heavy. I will absolutely seek out this truck in the future. & extra shout out to the sweet servers in the truck too.

It's a nice sports bar theme, but also welcoming and cozy. Once we sat down, a server came over immediately with menus. It seemed like she was the only server though, which made me feel badly for her...she never stopped moving the entire time we were there with taking orders, serving, refilling drinks, taking payments, etc. We had a party of four - I ordered the "Hail Mary" (2 patties, onion rings, bbq sauce, bacon, American cheese and pickles), hubby had the double steak burger and my friends ordered "The Big Hurt" and "Bullet Work". Bonus points for having multiple fries options (regular, garlic, French fry dippers and sweet potato), but unfortunately for me, they were out of sweet potato. Food came out relatively quickly and everything looked pretty delicious. My burger was bigger than I expected, which I appreciated. The onion ring was the perfect size for the patty and the drizzle of BBQ sauce was enough to flavor the burger without drowning it. The only downside was that the bacon wasn't crispy enough and the cheese was barely melted. The patties had some nice, crispy edges and the bun was soft even though it was toasted. It might have been bumped up a notch with some mayo on the bun, an extra slice of cheese and lettuce, but overall, it was a nice, very filling, burger. The fries were perfectly seasoned, slightly battered and the fry sauce was a great compliment. Everyone finished their meals and raved about how much they liked their burgers. Due to the one server taking care of so many tables, we didn't see her again until it was time for the check. Thankfully the water glasses were enormous and I luckily made it through dinner with just enough to drink. We would definitely visit again to check out all the great options on this menu!

While everything was alright, I preferred the sides to the actual burger sadly. The meat was too crispy around the edges. We went twice in one week even but haven't been back since. The second night, I just decided the meat was overcooked and the patty was over salted. There's so many burger options out there to try before I feel like I'd return.

I had a Blue moon on tap, with a glorious orange wedge. The beer was perfectly poured and had excellent flavor. I wasn't in the mood for the lounge fare, but luckily you can order from the full restaurant menu from the lounge. My friend and I opted to split the Signature Barrel burger.with cheddar cheese, bacon, brown mustard, onions, lettuce, tomatoes and a patty that is grilled to your liking (medium). We asked for a plate to split the burger ourselves, but the bartender was nice enough to put in the order as a split order without an additional charge. Our burger and fries were split and served on two different plates, which was greatly appreciated. The burger had a nice flavor though a tad under seasoned and a notch more than medium-didn't blow my socks off, but it's a solid burger. The fries were the star, as they were crunchy, yet pillowy soft inside, covered in a lovely batter. I wouldn't mind going again and trying out the restaurant side, it was a nice visit to the lounge. They only had one bartender for a large crowd and she hustled really hard to keep everyone happy...I just felt bad that she didn't have much help.

However, we had a double date planned and Kosta's was chosen for us. One of the best choices ever. The atmosphere is welcoming from the moment you walk in; friendly greeting within seconds of walking in, calming colors of blue and white adorn every wall with charming tablecloths on each table, and cute decor. Service was immediate with a carafe of water and a huge smile. I loved the vibe! Ordered a German Hefeweizen that came cold and frothy. Next came the Greek salad with the most juicy, crisp tomatoes, green peppers and cucumbers, then heavily sprinkled with feta cheese, a pinch of capers, and a side of the best Greek dressing I've ever tasted. I was originally taken aback that there was no lettuce, but real Greek salad doesn't have lettuce! I had no idea. Hubby and I shared the Broiler Mix from the appetizer menu so we could sample multiple items. The Broiler mix has 2 chicken skewers, 2 beef skewers, 2 Kefta patties, 2 chorizo, 2 pitas, fries, tomato wedges and a healthy dollop of tzatziki. The pita tasted homemade; it was soft, thick without being too think and didn't taste chalky. The skewers were exceptionally cooked...tender, flavorful pieces of chicken and beef. The kefta (lamb & beef) patties had a nice texture, which was enhanced with the herbaceous tzatziki sauce. The only disappointment was the chorizo as it was overcooked and dry. It was easy to overlook as everything else was a shining star. We would go back in a heartbeat....totally made me want to explore more Greek food there!

The thing that jumped out at me was the photo of the burger, now call me crazy but I think at this point I can look at a menu, photos of food and then the reviews to guide me. I ordered the Crave burger with bacon and my guest ordered the house salad with tortilla soup. Everything was excellent! The burger was juicy, flavorful, the bacon was perfectly crispy, Smokey and the white cheddar cheese was the perfect compliment! Now let's talk about the bun, I typically don't eat burger buns but this one was the exception to the rule. It was homemade obviously, buttery, light, and toasted to perfection. I ate both of them! Hahahaha! I felt so dirty typing that the French fries were crispy, just the right amount of salty and fluffy on the inside, crispy on the outside. My guest agrees with everything in this review. The house salad was fresh, the vinaigrette was homemade and delicious and the tortilla soup was even great! And with the view by the patio, how can it not be the most perfect setting to enjoy my birthday dinner. We just stuck with water since it was on the warmer side today. We just went straight in for dinner. As much as the appetizers sounded lovely, I was ready for the main event. So for dinner tonight I ordered the charboiled salmon with seasonal veggies in place of the salad. My salmon was plated beautifully with nice char marks on it. The veggies were a variety of squash and were sautéed nicely. And you can tell visually that they were seasoned nicely with spices and herbs. I dug right into my salmon. My first couple bites were delicious. I did spread some of the sun dried tomato butter on my salmon. The butter was fantastic! It added a nice flavor element to the salmon. After I ate about a a fourth of my salmon, I noticed that it was not cooked all the way through in the middle. With my new kidney, I can't have rare or undercooked fish. My immune system can't handle a parasite if the fish were to potentially contain any. I shouldn't have assumed that it was going to be cooked all the way since our server didn't ask how well I wanted it cooked. I did have to send it back and have another one remade. While my new fish was being prepared, my server gave me a small salad plate to transfer my veggies to. I got to work on them so I wasn't staring at my family eat. The veggies were cooked perfectly. They weren't overly soft or still raw. It had a nice bite to them while still being tender. Unfortunately, they were overly seasoned and was on the saltier side. I was hungry so I polished them off. But I did have to drink a good amount of water to help with the saltiness. Thank goodness the portion was on the daintier side. As hungry as I was, it would have been bad if it was a bigger portion. All that salt would not be good on my new kidney. My second round of salmon came out. Was it as pretty as my first plate, no but it will do. I'm sure they set the flame on high, let it sit on the grill for a while and then flipped it to cook the other side. I have cooked salmon well done plenty of times and have it come out tender. When you cook for a living, having cooking times for your dishes should be down to a science in your kitchen. Unfortunately, the salmon was super dry and flavorless. As hungry as I was, I ate it. The butter did help with the dryness of the salmon. But I shouldn't have to rely on butter to make the dish edible. For my birthday, I got a free dessert. I chose the gluten free carrot cake. My cousin eats a gluten free diet so I thought this cake would be perfect for all of us. I enjoyed the cake very much! The cake was moist. The spices in the cake were fragrant and very noticeable in each bite. I loved the frosting on the cake. Since the cake wasn't overly sweet, the frosting added a nice sweetness to it. I enjoyed the cake very much! Our server did a mid job. There were times when she would be gone for long periods of time and we had to wait for her. The patio was perfect with its stunning view. Dinner was ok but dessert was fabulous. Overall it was a decent experience. I do look forward to coming back and enjoying the outdoor patio with my husband for a date night. I just know now to make sure I vocalize everything to my server so I don't end up with dry salmon again. I do want to come back and have a better experience.

We wanted a booth and unfortunately a lot of the booths were very dirty with food. You can tell the tables haven't been tended to and cleaned. We did find a booth by the front door that was clean. Our number was called out and we grabbed our goodies. I got the California burger with a lettuce wrap, my husband grabbed the grilled cheese steak burger and a chili cheese dog. I opted for onion rings instead of the fries. The onion rings were good. They were crispy on the outside and the onion was soft and sweet in the middle. The burger was tasty. I did have to use a fork to eat it. I thought when they offered my burger to be lettuce wrapped that it would be wrapped. It was pretty much two pieces of lettuce on the top and bottom which made it hard to eat just holding it. My husband enjoyed his grilled cheese steak burger very much.
