I was in the area waiting for my neice. I decided to hit up Mo'Berries Ice Cream to kill some time. Walking into the joint, it was pretty chill. There was a family ahead of me ordering some goodies. So I peeped things out throughout the shop till I was ready to be helped. There's a little bit of everything here. Food, plushies, cards and snacks. When the family moved towards the register, it freed up the area by the ice cream case. The gentleman behind the counter told me it would be a second. I of course told him to take his time since I wasn't in a real rush. His response wasn't the most gentle or practical but I took it and waited till he was ready for me. He did list of the flavor options before he continued on with the customer's shake. After he finished with the family, he headed back my way. I asked for a scoop of the banana pudding ice cream. I have been on a banana pudding kick! So, let's continue this banana pudding kick and see what this ice cream joint has to offer. I'm not gonna lie, I was in awwww at how small this cup of ice cream is. I have been to several local joints in town and it's comparable to a kid's size. This is their single scoop. I paid my 6 bucks with tax. After a small conversation with the gentleman that helped me I made my way to outdoor seating in the front to enjoy my scoop in the warm sun. Broooooo, this is some of the best banana pudding ice cream in town. It's banana forward without the artificial taste to it. It's creamy! It had nice chunky pieces of Nilla wafers in it. I polished off that cup and probably could have had 2 more. It was a perfect treat for this hot summer's day. I enjoyed my ice cream very much. It was so good! But, I wish that this scoop would have been more cost friendly. I take my kids for ice cream dates every month and we focus on supporting local. There's at least 8 to 10 kids that I take out. I can't imagine paying 50 to 65 bucks for single scoops of ice cream. I know my teen boys could polish off larger cups so I don't even want to imagine the total cost of it all. I had some of the best banana pudding ice cream here. It was killer. But, my initial interaction with the gentleman behind the counter wasn't the best. Our conversation did end on a better tone when I checked out. The venue is a little confusing but fun with all the toys. I will probably enjoy another scoop by myself if I come back again. Unfortunately, I don't think I could afford to bring my kiddos here. read more

We came here early in the evening for ice cream dessert having heard good things about this place. There was one customer ahead of us who had ordered dinner and one person working behind the counter. The options for ice cream were carefully and thoroughly explained along with samples of the flavors of the ice cream flavors we were interested in. We each ordered a single serve ice cream and were promptly served. Both of us enjoyed the rich flavor of our ice cream. When I I asked for a glass of water, it was nice to receive a full size drink with lemon in it. We enjoyed the ice cream, was flavorful and creamy, a bit overpriced but good. read more

I can't review this place because they were closed in 100 degree weather at 4 in the afternoon. See attached picture. I understand stuff happens, especially with local businesses. Wow. This place is incredible in every way. The owners are fun, friendly and very knowledgeable on flavors/ingredients. We were a group of 16 kids and adults after a long day of soccer. Mo Berries was amazing. They had games to keep the kids entertained, offered suggestions on flavor combos and started great conversations. The New Zealand ice cream was spectacular and we were happily delighted with the flavor of the day with fresh swirled berries and cheesecake. Wow. We will be back on our next trip. On a summer quest to try all the specialty ice cream shops with my niece and great nieces. I was super excited to give this shop a shot! The idea of berries and New Zealand ice cream peaked my interest! There is obviously a neighborhood following here and that's wonderful. My experience was less than stellar. There was a long line so I felt a bit rushed to place our orders and move along. As well as that, the owner is a great guy and cares deeply about his customers and their experience. Me, my husband, and our sone decided to give Mo Berries a try after reading and article in the latest Boise news on my phone. We made the right choice. The ice creams that Kevin (owner) creates do not disappoint. If you love handmade ice cream then Mo Berries is the place to go. You will be happy you did. Kevin is very welcoming, passionate, fun to talk with...and, he sure knows his ice cream! Lol! We tried a few different flavors. The pistachio almond was yummy and tasted like real pistachio and almond, and not like the fake tasting stuff you buy in stores. The most unusual one was the Frozen Manganda. It is made with mango chunks and mango ice cream with whip cream, and topped with some spicy heat. It was truly a taste sensation of sweet, sour, and spicy). It is worth trying. Best ice cream I've ever had!!! The Pumpkin toll ice cream tasted like fresh pumpkin pie with a cake, and ice cream to top it off. Not too sweet, real flavor, and you can taste the heart that goes into making these ice creams. We also suggest the Strawberry Coconut and Raspberry Rose (my kids loved it). BEST decision EVER. They have games at the tables, products for sale, and a heavenly smell! I got a pumpkin cheesecake with HOMEMADE pumpkin cheesecake in It. LIFE CHANGING. All of the ice creams are made with quality ingredients you can actually see and taste. The owner is personally serving you and has exceptional customer service.
