A natural weaved hat by Wallaroo with sun protection, an adjustable tie inside to get a custom fit, and foldable. Perfect! My friend bought a gorgeous large brimmed raffia hat in all shades of orange and tan. Stunning! She bought the same hat in black and gray! My other friend bought two different pink hats, one large and one small. The guys bought hats also. The selection is vast. We were greeted on Wednesday, Feb 17, 2021, with a friendly "aloha" and the warm welcome never stopped. During these crazy Covid times, this is one of the shops that opens before 11am. I wish I could remember the name of the darling woman, with her fabulous accent, who waited on us. She was knowledgeable about every item in the store: hand-sewn Italian leather, one-of-a-kind seasonal color ways, special event items, etc. We purchased lovely hats, gorgeous shoes and felt welcomed, appreciated and treated like royalty. She had her hands full with us; four women who all wanted to try on different things at the same time! I can't say enough good things about the customer service! I was in the store last fall (they have a huge selection of hats) and found an Eric Javits hat that I loved but I didn't get it. When I got home, I thought about it again and called the store and spoke with Brana, the owner, about having it sent to me. Again, I didn't do it. When I called him again in July, 8 months after I first saw it, it was sold. Brana was amazing about it! He called his Eric Javits contact in New York and worked with them to find me this hat, last year's model. Then he worked with them to have them send it directly to me. I really want to support this store, especially during the pandemic. Whenever I want a hat, I'll be calling the store to see if they have it. read more

I talked to the owner over the phone. I explained my situation to him . I told him I was a professional entertainer lead singer .I have my own band in California for many years. I meet him at his store somewhere around Kihei. I had the hat that I bought in California with me. He said that he was ordering some hats soon and that he could get me the hat that I wanted for a really good price. After I left the store he came with me to my car and we listened to my cd. He told me my band sounded really great, and when I was looking at the hats in his store, the hats were nice but way overpriced in my opinion. I told him I was playing a wedding in the future, and he promised me that when he was going to order the hats he was going to order my hat also. As time went by, I called him many times...I actually gave him my cd which he loves. He never called me back, and I'm a lead singer so I have to look good on stage. I called him and texted him many times, but he refused to answer my texts and calls. I have not had a hospitable experience with the owner. If you say you're going to help me buy the same hat I had, but you don't respond to my outreach, you aren't customer friendly. I would not recommend Aloha Hats to anyone. read more

Bought a swimming hat for my daughter there yesterday. I was told it was adjustable so 40 minutes after buying the hat I adjusted the hat and the adjusting strings fully ripped. We weren't even swimming in it yet... I took it straight back to the store and it was a whole drama. For about 30 minutes the woman working at the store was just saying, "No there's nothing we can do." I kept saying things along the line of, "this is not good enough, I just bought the hat and it's meant to be adjustable." Eventually she called the manager. The first person she spoke to also was saying that there was nothing they can do because the tags had been taken off the hat. She then called another manager of the store and after a 15 minute conversation with him he eventually agreed I could exchange the hat for a different hat. This whole ordeal took about a hour. I thought it was a great store with a wide selection of hats but they're way over priced and the customer service was shocking. read more
