Over the years, I have been to a number of different massage locations in the south shore of Oahu but so far, Aloha Massage Spa seems to be the best one for me in my opinion. Service is great and they do offer a variety of specials throughout the week. They are open daily from 10:00 AM - 11:00 PM so there are generally plenty of open slots and you might even be able to do a walk-in based on availability. I usually like to book mine in advance to ensure I get the days and times that fit my schedule. They are located on the 2nd floor of McCully Shopping Center and parking in both their ground level lot and basement is free. Upon entering Aloha Massage Spa, it's a cutely decorated small lobby and reception area. The guy who did my 2-hour massage was great and took me into a private room that it dimly lit and he certainly helped loosen up my tight muscles in my body. Just let them know about the pressure throughout the session and you will be fine. As expected, you'll feel better and sore at the same time (but in a good way)! At the end of your session, there are chocolate bars and water offered. I paid $130 in cash plus tips to the massage guy. If you pay by credit card, there is a $5 surcharge. I plan on being back soon and will bring my girlfriend for a couples massage! read more

Aloha Massage Spa is located on the 2nd floor of McCully Plaza. We had just eaten brunch at Fig & Ginger and deciding what to do next. Well...anytime is a good time for a massage, right!?! LOL. My wife asked for a couples massage and fortunately they had availability. We were escorted to the room and she said to undress to your underwear. They always had a sheet on you. Coco massaged my wife. Coco was very good. "The best massage, I've had!" Coco frequently checked if her pressure was ok? She listened to my wife, which is good. My masseuse was Jacky. He was very nice, strong, and applied the right pressure. He checked a couple of times to make sure. He used elbows, forearm, and his hands. He worked out all the knots I had. Both my wife & I would recommend each masseuse. Their English comprehension was decent. CON: They did mention this ahead of scheduling the appointment. No air-conditioning today. Massage in Honolulu, Hawaii... The other week, when I was at McCully Shopping Center for dinner, I saw Aloha Massage Spa on the upper level, on the way to the restaurant. I took note of the "Wahine Wednesdays" special: $10 off for female residents! Since today was Wednesday, I called and asked if there were any openings. The friendly voice welcomed me over! I told her I'd be there in ten minutes. Parking is free at McCully Shopping Center. I like to park underground... in the shade... and take the elevator up. The entrance is around the corner on Pumehana Street. I was greeted in the cutely decorated reception area. The pleasant receptionist offered me the restroom and gave me the key. It's down the hall. Inside, the place is dimly lit. I was led to a private room where I laid face down for a back massage. Later, I turned over, and my head, neck, and feet were massaged. Yay! I appreciated the warm towel wipe down before and after the 90-minute Combo (30 minutes feet and 60 minutes body) massage! I paid $75 cash + tip. Overall, it was a wonderful experience... especially after driving 4 hours from Las Vegas to Los Angeles... and sitting 5.5 hours on a plane between Ontario (California), and Honolulu! read more

I've visited a handful of massage places all over the island and Aloha Massage Spa has been someplace that I have come back to time and time again. Not only do I frequent this business, but I also recommend them to friends and family and buy a fair share of gift certificates to give away. They provide you with chocolate and water after your massage. No bathrooms located inside but you can walk to the bathrooms provided by the building. Located right next to the Chinese restaurant and Claw machine place on the 2nd floor of McCully Shopping center. I usually come here for a massage and I'm pretty picky when it comes to massages.. I have huge knots in my back and shoulder area that I wanted to get out. I have had a stressful month and just wanted a good massage. I requested for a guy on the phone and I asked for a guy 3 times in person. A lady walked in and I told her I requested a guy. She said okay and proceeded to massage me. Maybe they were short staffed? idk... but my friend did not care who massaged him and he ended up getting the male masseuse so I was a bit annoyed. Amazing! My husband and I did a full body couples massage for 60 min (included hot stone massage + choice of either foot OR hand scrub). I saw a new years deal on Groupon for this place that their staff just ended up honoring on-site (just had to show the staff a screenshot instead paying through Groupon). It was great and an absolute steal, very reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Do it! You won't regret it. We would've come here every day if we could. Came here with my mom. Groupon had a deal for 106$ for a 60-minute couples session. I called beforehand to ask if I should buy the Groupon or if they could match the Groupon price (I do this to support local businesses!) the woman said to come in and she would match the price. The massage itself was really good and the Groupon came with aroma oils and a 10 minute hand or foot scrub. I went with the foot scrub. Offering Foot, Full Body and Combination Massages there many choices to take care of yourself including "Man"ic Mondays, Kupuna Tuesdays and Wahine Wednesdays for $10 off your service of $60 or more from 10am to 6pm which I'm kinda pissed I didn't get considering I went in on Wednesday and had the "Combination Massage" (30 min foot with 40 min body) of $60 before 6pm which they still should've given me and not have me find this out and got ripped off. They also have a birthday special of $10 off your session of one hour or more AND $45 for 60 minutes Foot Massage through YELP check-in (which isn't a special as that's their standard price). So they do have quite a bit of offers just do more research unlike myself that jumped in but in good faith they still should've been honest and that's how you can earn more faithful regulars. As I entered they take your temperature and I informed the session I wanted and immediately taken to a private room and got set and was surprised it was done with oils because I wasn't asked that but didn't mind at all. The massage we okay, I was asked how strong and I wanted strong but felt it wasn't at all and she wasn't as thorough in my opinion especially in my problematic areas. I've been to Aloha Massage Spa twice. I came back because they give good hard deep tissue massages. This time I did the 40 min body and 30 min feet for $65. For this massage, you get a private room and strip down to your undies. I had a guy and he was professional ensuring I was covered up properly. Pressure was good. Despite the name, I wouldn't call it a "spa." It's dark inside so can't judge on the cleanliness but everything looked orderly. It was rather warm and smelled like sweaty feet when I entered but they cranked up the AC and it got better. The lady at the front desk was nice. I paid cash otherwise it would be $5 extra using a credit card. I gave her $80 (only had $20 bills) for the $65 massage. Only thing I didn't like was when the lady didn't give me change and stated that $15 is for tip. I prefer she had not make the assumption because she didn't know how the service was. I was planning to give $15 anyways so it didn't bother me too much but I still don't like this business practice. I also prefer to give cash directly to the masseuse too. read more

We were verified by the hostess, asked for our voucher (which we presented), and asked to confirm services requested. We were then led to the back, where our room was ready. We were given instructions which we followed to the T. A while later, our masseuses entered, and our experience began. The right touch and pressure was applied throughout the entire session. Aloha massage is a great go to, straight forward, massage spot perfect tucked away on the second floor of the shopping center. It was recommended by a friend who goes frequently and I can see why. You simply check in, go straight to your area and get situated. The two masseuses were very quick and actually got to us before we were fully ready, so we had to let them know when to enter. The only downside is that there are not separate rooms, but areas are sectioned off by curtains. Unfortunately, that means you can hear those next to you, so hope for a good neighbor! The woman up front who helped set up my appointment was very sweet and customer-service oriented. She greeted me warmly with a smile and though I mistook her saying "foot massage" as "full massage," she was very patient with me. She also was quick to give me my $10 off for the kamaaina discount. Linda, my masseuse, was very hardworking and considerate. She knew to keep the conversation short as I wanted her to take in the massage. She does use more pressure than other masseuses I've had but as long as you communicate, the massage will be amazing (trust me). Linda is honestly the most adorable woman. I tipped her double what I intended because of how great she was. Just know that they have the option of oil but it doesn't seem it's necessary given their technique. Although I'm sure you can request it! Also, for my full body massage I removed my clothing but I know some massages take place in the communal space, and so clothes stay on. I didn't drive but if you intend to there is plenty of free parking at the shipping center. At the end of the massage, you're given water and chocolate. The service began with a 10-minute neck and shoulder massage, while our feet were soaking in a tub of hot water and flowers. It is then followed by a foot and leg massage with lotion. My masseuse was Andy, who had excellent techniques, stamina and strength. If you're needing a massage with very strong pressure, I'd recommend Andy. At the end of our massage, a complementary small bottle of water and candy was presented to us. This is the first massage spa I actually went to and I'm never looking for another. I have been waking up with tingly and numb arms for over a week and I really needed some help with my shoulder and arm area. I relayed it to the massage person and he understands it. IT WAS THE BEST! My body never felt so good in a long time. I went home and oh boy I slept like a log. Woke up and everything feels so light. The spa is easy to find but you might need yourself to get a head start because the parking can get hectic, I went on a Sunday night. Thought it would be less busy. Inside the massage area it's dark and there is some low volume relaxing music playing. The little room I was put in was so comfy and smelled really good. Before the pandemic I used to get monthly massages from various places ranging from Chinese foot massage places, spas like Burke Williams to my acupuncture offices full time masseuse. My masseuse at Aloha was top notch and I was pleasantly surprised. After a lot of walking and physical activities around Oahu, it was nice to spend a few hours relaxing and getting pampered. My friends and I went as a group to get massages. We were all supposed to get foot massages that day. We had a big group (8 girls). Two of us had to go into a separate room, while the rest were able to stay in the area for the foot massage. We were told that we would lie down so they could massage our back and neck. While in the private rooms, my friend and I were told to take off our clothes so they could use oil (our friends outside were not told to do this). While I thought this was odd, I did it as I have had many massages before. My "foot" massage turned into a full body massage without anyone asking me if I wanted this change. If I had known it was going to be a full body massage, I would have requested a female. Of course I got a male. While some parts of the massage felt good, most of it felt inappropriate. Usually when you are having a body massage, you are covered in layers of sheets/ blankets and only the part of the body being massage is exposed. The guy I had was so creepy. I only had one thin sheet covering my entire body. He kept throwing it in the air during my session. I felt very uncomfortable throughout my massage. He was touching in places I didn't think he should be massaging. The worst was when I turned over, I used my hands to cover my "top". He kept trying to take my hands off. I told him "NO, I don't want that placed massaged". He just laughed at me and eventually realized I was not going to move my hands down. This happened in March of 2025. At first I wasn't sure if I was overacting. But after having several massages at other places, I know this was inappropriate. I would never go to this place again! For the owner/manager of this business, it was my mistake of not reporting this immediately. Please make sure your staff is massaging appropriately. It is important to ask customers (before the massage starts) what kind of service they would like to receive. My friend booked the appointments for us to receive the same foot massage. 6/8 received the foot massage. My friend in the private room was asked if she would like to change to a full body, while I was not asked what I wanted. The male that massaged me did not speak English, so I should have had someone communicate what service I wanted. To be honest, I'm still confused and very traumatized by this experience. read more

Definitely did not get what we paid for and even asked for more pressure and the massage did not improve. My friends decided last minute to get a late night quick reflexology massage. I called for a last minute 9pm massage for 3 people. I was so surprised they were willing to fit us all in in such late notice. I didn't think we would have found a place that would take us in such short notice and so late in the night. Worst foot massage I've ever had. I went in for a 90 min for massage. The dude that gave me the massage had heavily calloused hands, so the massage felt like I was getting exfoliated by sandpaper. On top of that, he didn't really know what he was doing. He only had 3 moves: a gentle knuckle rub over just the foot arches, a thumb press that glides over the inner shins where he puts a lot of pressure on the top of my shin bones at the end, and then he'd massage the bones on top of my foot and in betwen my toes. He'd just repeat these same 3 moves and over. It did not feel good at all. It hurted a lot when he pressed his thumbs on the top of my shin bones. He seems to focus more on pressing on my bones more than my muscles. The way he'd rub my foot arches provides no relief whatsoever. I went in for a massage because I was sore from walking. He did not massage any other part of my foot except for the exact same spot in my foot arches. I just got more frustrated as time went on. Would not come here again. read more

We just were passing by and actually wanted a massage so we chance it to see if they would take us and they took 2 of us right way. Everyone was so nice and professional not pushy like some places can be. The inside was surprisingly private even tho some beds were just separated by a curtain. The inside also was very nice and clean. Dimmed lights and they also had the air diffuser things throughout. Loved it!! It was perfect for us!
