I get a call 3days later to come in to talk about my options they inspect my vehicle tell me since the car was purchased from them they can do something for me they'll give me 3k for my car pay off the 1200 left on the loan and leave me with 1500 let's say and they want me to put 1500 down more in cash I tell them ok let me look at my finances call them in a day or two they say great . DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE. I bought a 2015 Jeep from Aloha back in January of 2023. Everything started off well, Gabe was nice, normal car salesman type, plus he told me the car was $1000 of the sticker price of 14,995. He also said they do a complete inspection of all their cars, so I felt pretty good about the whole thing. I came back the next day, took it for a test drive, and signed the paperwork. However, as I was signing I noticed the price was still $14,995, with no discount, so I asked about it. Gabe told me it was not on sale. I told him he said it was yesterday, but I didn't want to argue with him about it because I really needed a vehicle quickly. Hindsight, I should have walked away. As I drove home the heat started to not work at all, it was still blowing but not warm. When I parked to take a look at it and opened the passenger door, I realized the handle for the seat was now missing. I called the next morning and they said they would be glad to fix them, which was cool. I brought the car in, they fixed the heater, and eventually got the part to fix the seat. But when the mechanic said he was done, I went over to get in the car, I tested the handle and it fell right off. I told them not to worry about it, I'd go somewhere else. Two days later it rained, when I got in the car there was water dripping from my overhead lights and rearview mirror, and the side-upper panel where the sunvisor attaches was soaked. I couldnt take the car back since it was after the return policy. I ended up going out of town for 5 weeks in the beginning of February so the car was parked the entire time, except when my gf started it. When I got back, almost immediately, a red lightning bolt started appearing on the dashboard and the car would lose all power. It became undrivable. Turns out it needed a new throttle body. When I took it in and had it hooked up, all kinds of codes came up. So far I've spent $1900.00 on this vehicle. I am positive most of their good reviews are from friends and relatives because now that I know more people here, everyone says to stay away from there. Wish I knew that sooner. I bought my Honda accord a couple months back from aloha motors, and after buying I realized it needed an oil change. When I went to get it done...they told me my valve cover was leaking bad and I should take it in to get it fixed. I immediately contacted Aloha motors where they told me to bring it back and have it fixed. I did just that and thought it should be totally fine now...but when I recently got another oil change they let me know it's still leaking pretty bad. I also traded in my previous car in which I was told aloha motors was supposed to release my information from the vehicle through the DMV, but they never did it. I was receiving tickets from whoever bought the car from them, under my name! As well as DMV registration suspension under my name for the vehicle I traded in months ago. I do not recommend going here due to the lack of care and quality I received during my trade in and purchase. My car came with a problem, and I paid 15k (cash) as well as my traded in car for a 2013 Honda. I decided to do it because of the reliability and reassurance from the owner of the dealership (Josh) that the car was in perfect condition with 0 problems. Gabriel and Joshua were both great assisting me in not only financing my Toyota Prius, but in solving any problems that I had, including making sure I knew how driving a Prius could be different than the manual engine cars I had previously. Terry was great, a no pressure sales guy who was more than accommodating for us as well as others we saw on the lot the same day. We purchased a 2000 Beetle for our daughter and we were happy with the price, service and quality of the vehicle. The only thing preventing 5 stars is that the car had passed safety check per their list, but when we got home, we found out the horn was not functional (a necessity for a DMV driver test). I wasnt even thinking about buying a new car but I drove past Aloha and saw a Nissan Leaf for sale for $9,000. It had low mileage and was an unbelievable deal. Turned out it wasn't a good fit for my lifestyle but they had a Prius for the same price and it's without a doubt the nicest car I've ever had. I waited a month before I wrote this because I wanted to make sure it was everything it seemed to be and I'm happy to report it drives like a dream, I spend half as much in gas as I used to. Maybe the biggest surprise is how accommodating the guys at the dealership were. Whenever I've bought a car in the past, I had to deal with one salesman. That meant if he was busy I was out of luck for hours. At Aloha the two salesmen seem to tag team. Josh, who sold me the car, wasn't there on weekends and the other guy (I think his name is Terry) truly seemed as if my happiness with the sale was important to him. There were a few quirks with the sale. When I bought the car I was too excited to pay attention to details. There was no manual and I only received one key. I went back a week after the sale and they were anxious to help me. (A nice surprise since the deal was long done.) They had to order them but I received them quickly. Terry made that happen. Josh got the key programmed in 15 minutes. Not only would I buy another car from them, I wish I needed another one. I have never seen such a great selection of cars at such good prices. Very happy with my purchase. I just must say as always try to keep your head about you during the sale. Check mileage, read papers that you sign. 5 Stars for a Used Car Dealer? Yeah, I think they deserve it - so far. Found a Craigslist ad for a 2001 4Runner they were selling. Priced it out on NADA and Kelly's Blue Book online. If the vehicle was decent then the listing was at a fair price. That interested me because I thought either they were lying or there was something wrong with the vehicle. And if they were not lying then there as a high likelihood I was going to buy the car because I had been looking for about 5 months. Well I checked the vehicle and it was solid for the year and the mileage - no leaks, clean fluids (yes, they change the oil once the car comes to the lot), no rust, everything works, upholstery in excellent shape, newer tires . We took the vehicle for a drive over speed bumps, around a bit of Santa Cruz, and Hwy 1 - no noises, transmission shifted properly, timing was good, suspension good, started right away, and so forth. After dealing with places like one particular nameless new car dealer in the Capitola area for new and used cars over the years, this was a very pleasant experience. We sat down to negotiate and we settled on a price I thought was fair. I've seen numerous ads for 4Runners being sold by owner grossly overpriced. I probably should have taken this car to my mechanic but I thought the offer was fair and at that price it wouldn't last the weekend. So - everything was smooth. Signed the papers and picked up the car. My gut feeling was this was an honest place and because it's a small dealer the cars have to be priced fair or they'll sit in their small lot. If it turns out there are serious mechanical problems, I will post an update. But I don't think I'll have to do anything except change the timing belt and water pump only because it's almost due for that. read more

Bought my first car here, a 2008 ford focus. Terry helped a lot with getting me a loan from the bank. However, 1 month later, two handles broke off. 2 months after that, water had been leaking in through the roof, then mechanics found a HUGE oil leak that got into the coil boots/spark plug area and said it had been there for a while. The axils had to be readjusted as well as the Bearings. 5 months with this car and I'm already having to put $1500 of repair into it. Definitely not what I signed up for read more
