Great experience with Jacob for a paintless dent repair. His pricing was fair and transparent compared to other shops I looked into. He was extremely responsive through both text and calls, and made sure to call me back promptly to confirm whether the job could be done before coming out. The dent itself was in a tough spot on my hood, so there was some uncertainty whether or not it could be done, but he was upfront and honest about everything. He even reassured me that I wouldn't be charged if the repair wasn't possible. When he arrived, he was professional, respectful, and easy to talk to. Jacob came out to see the car to offer an estimate the same day I called. He was very friendly and offered great information. After his assessment of the needed dent repairs, he explained many reasons why he felt these dents were risky to try to pull out. He also explained in detail why he was not going to attempt to repair them. He did however recommend a body shop. He called the shop and the shop was able to deliver a ballpark quote over the phone. I requested a quote from redline and got a message back from Jacob not long after who gave very fair quote compared to his competitors in the area some of them upwards of $600 and more. After requesting a video of the dent to better assess the damage we were able to schedule. Jacob is super friendly, professional and knows his trade. He spent about 1 hour and half to 2 hours fixing the dent and he kept working it until were both satisifed with the result. First off, Jacob has amazing follow up. I found him on yelp when I was looking for a quote. Although I wasn't in a rush to remove the dent it was so nice of him to periodically check in and check if I was ready. He was always quick with his replies. Fast forward to the repair and he was on time and gave a quick assessment of the dent. He explained that my vehicle was aluminum and not steel. So, it wouldn't pop out as easily. With that said he was still able to remove the dent! Also, his quote/estimate was consistent with what he charged. Honest review. Called and he answered quick, asked for photos. Sent them to him and asked if there was paint damage. I said I'm not sure, and he said "I zoomed in to the photos and sent them. Are you telling me that's not paint damage?" Very condescending and aggressive. I told him I'm not the expert that's why I called for one. He said ok he can fix it he'll be there jn 30 min. 30 min goes past so I call him and he said he is leaving another job, be there in 35 minutes. My schedule is tight, so I told him I won't be available to give you the key so let's do tomorrow. He calls me 15 minutes after very aggressive saying what am I doing, what's going on, he's already on the way. He's trying to run a professional business and getting angry with me. Doesn't carry himself like professional at all, it was clear the first phone call.
