They were specifically asked to communicate via email. Additionally they were not given my phone number. Since then they looked it up elsewhere and I have been getting nonstop calls from them even after they acknowledged that I requested email communications only. At this point they are on my phone spam list and periodically checking shows they are still constantly calling from their sales department. I've moved on to another dealership that is willing to work with me, not force me into their schedule. I've also attempted to get servicing on my vehicle there but was then quoted all these diagnostic costs and upsells. Eventually I stopped working with them and am now doing all my truck servicing at another dealership. I've been in the SC area for an over 20 years and every time I give them a "second chance" they do the same crap. I'm suspecting it's a management directive for this particular dealership to basically screw over the customer for as much money as they can as I get significantly better interactions and service at two other dealerships I've worked with elsewhere. read more

Service department won't take ownership when they screw up. They prefer to cover it up or say oh no that can't be from us, despite new issue happing post service. Whether it's just mechanics not be honest or whole service department in on it I don't know. Terrible communication skills from service rep, everything has an excuse. Um, ha's, so annoying. I called today and the damn girl who answered the phone first disconnects me when I'm trying to get a hold of parts. So I called back and she promised me a service writer would get in touch with me before the end of the day. Of course that call never came. She probably didn't even tell anybody to call me back because it was close to 5 o'clock. My son just bought a new Ford Tremor . They weren't willing to deal whatsoever so we went elsewhere. If they can't even return a customers phone call just because it's close to five on a Friday. They don't get my business. I'll take it over to R&D Motorsports. They'll probably do a better job. The female service clerk asked about the problem with car. reminded her I have an appointment -diagnostic check because my back tires are not pulling align like the front tires. alerted her that an engine message came on and, I did not get the full engine message as I was driving. The female service clerk insisted on knowing the specifics why I was there. After three rounds with her, and reminded her, I am not a mechanic, but I am at a car dealership. She replied, I am charging you $200 for the diagnostic. Again, I signed up for a diagnostic check and told her so. I guess I should have gone to AAA for a diagnostic check, instead. She replied, yes. As this is not the first time, I went in for service, and things did not work out. In my experiences with this dealership, buying cars is a beautiful, and exciting experience. Then I contacted the sales agent, Imad Mashni. He was very "no pressure" and was showing me everything about the vehicle. I decided to take it for a test drive, I asked him to go so that we could discuss all of the features on the vehicle. This vehicle was exactly the vehicle I had been searching for. I took my car in for a warning light, they told me it had tripped because of the gas cap release was malfunctioned. I did not drive the car for a month, and when I did, and went to get petrol, the gas cap release did not work at all. upon calling the shop to get the situation taken care of, the service manager, Denise, hung up on me. No one has called me back or answered emails. 5 calls and two emails. Absolutely no response, and a broken gas cap release. I paid for this service. I called about a pre owned vehicle over the phone and told them i was interested in the car if they went through my credit union and i told them what i wanted to put down prior to going to look at the car, over the phone they said that wouldnt be a problem. I drove 2 hours just for them to do the exact opposite and refuse to work with my bank. So at the end of the day we couldnt make a deal. I just want to give a special thanks to this dealership for making me waste my saturday, waste my gas, and waste my time to come out from 2 hours away just to tell me something different. Very bad experience. I took in my 2015 Ford Fusion Energi for a check-up and headlight bulb replacements. The service department replaced the main bulb, but missed the daylight running light in the same housing, which was also out. I had to take the car back the next day because of this oversight. Also, according to a YouTube video showing step-by-step bulb replacement, the job takes less time than what they charged. read more

If I could give a ZERO rating, I would. I am so disappointed with North Bay Ford. I brought my car in after white smoke was coming from my exhaust. A friend said that it's most likely exhaust or fuel injector leak. I took it to NBF and let them know what was going on and that I also needed my 100,000 mile service (which includes changing spark plugs). I got a call that my car was done and that there was nothing wrong with the engine and they flushed my transmission. Great! Picked up my car! I drive from Santa Cruz to Santa Clara 5 days a week. 4,000 miles later, I start noticing the smoke again. I also noticed that the car was just not sounding or driving smooth. I scheduled to go in for an oil change and have the engine checked out/diagnostic check. They did an oil change, topped off all fluids and said I needed tires. I was not able to get a diagnostic check because there was no mechanic on site. They said they didn't have the tires in stock but that they could do it when I dropped it off on Monday and be done on Tuesday. Dropped it off and they hooked me up with a rental which was nice. The following day I get a call saying the following: I need new tires. They already replaced them and that there are a slew of other things wrong, crack in the head gasket, cracked cylinder head, radiator leak, exhaust leak, oil and fuel leak. And that's just short of an engine replacement that would cost $9000 plus. They quoted me approximately $6000. I said that I would have liked to have been told the issues before you put the tires on. I don't have $6,000. I took my ford to a private mechanic and Ford didn't even replace my SPARK PLUGS!!! They were very old! I am pissed! Granted there are issues but if I took it in to get checked out, why didn't I get an actual diagnosis. I was going to pay for it. I got nothing. I found the used 2017 F-250 6.7 Lariat with an 8' bed I had been looking for at North Bay Ford online, it had a Carfax that made it easy to go through prior owners and service intervals. I reached out online asking if it was still available, I received a response back shortly after from Mauricio Alej, stating it was still available. I stated I was interested but I was leaving town on Wednesday and would be back on Friday, he said he would send a message if it was still available. On Friday when I landed a message was on my phone stating the truck was still there. I talked to Mauricio, and we set up a time to meet on Saturday at North Bay Ford. Mauricio was gracious when we arrived, the truck was everything that was clearly stated in the online ad, there was no derogatory surprises, the test drive was perfect. Mauricio and I negotiated a price that was fair for both of us, he produced backup on prices of comparable vehicles that were currently for sale for comparison. He did compromise and sweetened the deal filling up the gas tank with Diesel. The doc signing was painless, Mauricio worked hard to get the best rate for me, and I was out the door on my way home to Vacaville in short time. I had several warnings come up on the console on my 2019 F-150, and I brought it in to have the codes checked and reset, as it is most likely just because of the tire change. That morning, the tech wasn't there, so I had to wait most of the day for someone to even look at it. They then charged me $290 just to do diagnostics. They claimed there was a broken brake sensor, and their report says that the reset the system. When I got the truck, all of the warning lights were still on, so the problem wasn't fixed. I paid them $600 for nothing. They refused to give me my money back, and only refunded me for the diagnostics. Additionally, I called several times, and no one answered the phone. read more
