It seems like the way they stay in business is to get people to buy things they may not want or need. They never wanted to know what I was going to use the truck for...if I needed a 4WD, or if I tow heavy things. They only asked how much I could afford a month. I actually left and bought a Jeep Liberty at Normandin instead of the Dodge truck I wanted because they had made me so mad. (The Jeep Liberty has been excellant tho) Another odd quirk was they would not speak to my wife. I think they assumed that the bloke makes the rules and the woman is the servant. My car needed a new interior rear view mirror, and it's been very difficult to find a new one, even from the dealership. Low and behold, Action Auto Wreckers (and Honda Heaven). I called them to confirm that they had the part. I went down a few days later to pick it up (they pulled it from the car while I waited). I'm not sure what the relationship is, but Action Auto Wreckers is located next to Honda Heaven and the only retail front that was open when I went to pick up my part. Pro tip: Call ahead and have them pull the part so you don't have to wait. Also, the first part they pulled for me was incorrect, so make sure to double check what they give you (and ideally bring the part to them). They were happy to swap it out, but I'm glad I didn't need to drive all the way home and back here to swap it.

Normally, I don't give endorsements, but there are exceptions to every rule. This time is the exception. Jeff, at Longshot Auto Sales http://www.longshotautosales.com/ helped me get a SCREAMIN' deal for my 2014 Nissan Rogue Select AWD. I was originally considering a 2010 Rogue with 30+K miles from my local auto dealer, but they wouldn't negotiate on the price. I knew what I wanted; it was just a matter of what I could afford. I tried to find a better deal on Craigslist, and found Longshotautosales.com and looked at their website. There were so many great deals to be had! Their website is easy to navigate, and user friendly. I found a 2008, and a 2012 Rogue I liked, and I gave Jeff a call. Jeff found two other cars that would work within my price range. He had me call Aaron de Priest at Gilroy Nissan, and that afternoon, I drove away with a brand new 2014 Nissan Rogue Select AWD for WAY less than the 2010 Rogue I had been considering. Let me start by saying I'm very skeptical at the beginning about their services and all the promises they make seem too good to be true. But, let me tell you these guys are the real deal and they are very efficient and professional at what they do. I spoke to both Jeff and Jeremy about the new Lexus RX 350 that I wanted and both were very polite and straight to the point. They were able to get me the vehicle I wanted with the price that they promise in 24 hours! WoW! But that's not all there's more to it. When I arrived at the Dealership to purchase the vehicle Jeff has already arranged for me to go straight to one of their top manager and he was already waiting for me downstairs. After a dismal shopping experience with another company that shall remain nameless, but whose names rhyme with Saul and Bronco, I felt like I would never be able to solve my auto and credit problems. I just bought a brand-new Honda Accord over the memorial day weekend from Jeremy at longshot auto sales. i'm usually a online shopper and don't like to go into those big crowds especially on a busy holiday weekend. It took a while, since the car was not a very common one, but he persisted and found the exact car in the exact color I wanted (BMW M240i in Brooklyn Grey). He also took the time to find and list all the options the car had and compared it to another he found that was similar. He negotiated the price on my behalf and saved me some substantial money. In the end, the service provided was excellent and he even helped arrange for the dealership to pick me up at the airport since the car was in Los Angeles. Called and talked to Jeff on Friday about my needs. By Saturday morning, Jeff was able to find a car that matched our requirements with a very reasonable price. I told Jeff that we will need to pick up our kids in late afternoon from their activities so we cannot stay too long at the dealership. It's a small dealership and they had nothing resembling what I wanted. I noticed the prices were competitive. They charge invoice for new cars but they order it for you. Just test drive the cars by going to the dealership. Then come back and order your new car.

But, in a market where cars are in high demand, supply is drastically low, and are selling for $10k+ over MSRP... thats as good as it gets. We were referred to Arkady through a friend. Hubby has a long history in retail sales, so the car buying experience has always been... eventful, as everyone knows. But now with 2 toddlers in tow, we weren't able to dedicate the months-long research, wheeling and dealing, and multiple dealership trips all over the Bay Area to get what we wanted. So we decided to give Arkady a try. We told Arkady what we wanted. SPECIFICALLY what we wanted. Down to the T. A brand new Platinum Highlander Hybrid in Pearly White. A special order color, in a very sought after trim level and combination. Arkady looked and found us a few, but we weren't ready yet. So we waited. And the aftermath of COVID was in full affect. The dreaded chip shortage. Dealer lots were empty, cars were being bought up like no other, and the market is now flooded with buyers willing to pay top dollar from a supply pool that would disappear with a sneeze. Unfortunately for us, we just couldn't afford to battle with ballers, so we waited, hoping Arkady could find us a deal. Luckily, Arkady was able to place us an order with the Toyota Factory for our specific car, in our specific trim. We waited a few weeks, putting our trust in Arkady, and we finally got the call. The vehicle had landed and was ready for us. Everything we wanted, as we had requested. Even in this market, he was able to get us below the MSRP, which is absolutely mind blowing. He promised, and delivered in spades. His cost of service is worth its weight in gold. The process was painless. He was prompt with his communication and was always straight forward. On delivery day, we met at his office and spent no more than 15 minutes doing paperwork.... to buy a car... that was tailor made to our specification.... at a deal we were more than happy with... We cannot emphasize at how valuable his services were to us, and our family thanks him greatly. Remember the kids? They didn't even have time to even THINK about throwing a tantrum before they were buckled up in the new car and we were on our way. Arkady runs a no-joke, no-frills, get-it-done business. Well i had someone drive me from Livermore to San Jose just in case i did walkaway with the car since those were my intentions. Their site says they open at 10 am. we got there at 10:30 and the gates were still locked. so i called to make sure they were indeed open. The guy on the phone said Yes,and that the person opening up would be there soon, but that he was running late. That he had already spoken to him saying he was definitely on his way there it would only take ten minutes. So i waited, and waited. then i called again at 10:50 and again he said only five more minutes, to just wait. Well of course i waited i drove all the way over here, i wasn't just going to walk away. i even walked to car lot across the street and tooka look at those used cars. Then 11:15 or so came around and still nothing. and they have yet to call back to apologize or anything. Great reviews, i was hoping i would walk away with a cute new little car, but the level of professionalism and disrespect just made me turn away. i guess ill keep searching for a new car somewhere else.

Here's what really stood out to me from start to finish: - Greg was quick to respond to my initial text - We arranged a time to meet at his lot and when I showed up 10 minutes early, he was already there. Thanks for being early and not making me wait around on my lunch break. Appreciate you for that big time. - When it came time to deal, we had some negotiation, but it was not high pressure. He was informative and knew the vehicle and showed me how some of the storage and seats flipped up for loading. Very professional, good attitude. - We agreed on a price and sat down to sign paperwork. Wow, this is probably the fastest and easiest car buying paperwork I've ever filled out. He was very organized and presented the paperwork thoroughly and really didn't waste any time. The paperwork exercise literally took 15 minutes total, although he didn't seem rushed, just organized. What a time saver! Sometimes you don't realize how valuable your time is until someone works efficiently like this and it takes much less time than you expected. -I've had the car for a day now and there have been no surprises. I knew a bit about this model car before the purchase and it has lived up to my expectation. The car drives great and is in EXCELLENT condition for being a 100k mile car.
