I have taken my gf here a few times to get fill-in's and new gel polish. Today we went, and will never go back. The nail tech today barely spoke English and could not understand what we asked him to do. When the tech messed up and we asked him to fix his mistakes (since he did not do what we asked) he got mad and was very rude to my gf. He was moving her hands around but kept telling her to hold still (he was moving them, not her) his tone was very condescending and rude. He also was unable to do the design that we requested, but tried anyways and it turned out like this (see labeled pictures below). Needless to say we were very dissatisfied and will never be going back. He was very rude when asking her to do things. He didn't ask her, he just ordered her. "Show me the picture of the design" "Go wash your hands now" "stop moving your hands". Nail spa service is a luxury and is supposed to be fun, this nail tech took all that away. At the end when I went to pay, he had the audacity to smile and asked me for a tip. Of course I declined (never ask for a tip, if you did a good job and earned a tip, I will give you one). He then seemed angry/upset when I said no to a tip. He made a face and said "Oh! Ok." As if he was mad that I didn't tip him for the very poor job he did. A service business like this who is rude to their customers and cannot follow instructions will not be open much longer...regardless of how long they have been in business. The first visit was great. The gentleman did a great job and was gentle. Today I had a young girl for a basic pedicure. She hurt me and made a couple of my toes bleed. And she did a sloppy polish job. Just hope I don't get an infection . read more

Don't know where my original review went, so I'll redo. I've been going here for years, because it's the BEST. Tuesday and Wednesday pedis are $5 off whatever level you choose, and it gets crowded. Because they're good. No...they're excellent. I saw chrome polish on TV this week, and sure enough they're on top of it here. Got mine today. Oh so beautiful. Anytime I've had a problem - even of my own making (I chose the wrong color) they've been happy to fix. Broke a nail in the first couple of days, and they fixed free. Who can ask for more than that? I have been going to this salon for quite some time. However, that time came to an end when one of their male nail techs said very inappropriate things to my teenager. Referring to a 16 year old as "sexy", calling her baby and asking if he could take her out is NOT appropriate. And yes, he knew she was a minor as we had been there many, many times before and he was doing her PROM nails this most recent time. read more

2022 CHANGED OWNERS!!!!! I was a regular customer of Tip Top (previously Trendy). Ownership changed at the end of 2021 and things are not the same. Many of the nail techs from Trendy stayed but management is not good. There are men sitting in the back constantly monitoring (manager/owner). Creepy vibes. My nail tech did a great job, as always, but the manager got into a screaming match with another customer at the front of the store. This place used to be packed with customers at any time of day and now it is desolate. Also, tip your nail tech in cash because management seems to take the tips for themselves. It's a convenient location with decent prices but not the same as it was. I'll go somewhere else. read more

They are very busy salon. They used nail file for my toes and sterilized clippers etc. and a new plastic For the pedi bowl, I hope they used a new scrubber for my feet, I brought in my own polish. Whole different story for my nails. I had French polish, enamel nails. Used nail file used on someone else. The clippers, cutters were the same used for my pedi. Employees are nice personable. But some of the practices need to be changed. A NEW nail file per customer would make this place clean. read more

I wanted to leave an honest review since I saw the 4.5 rating and thought it would be professional and fun. The staff got frustrated with our questions on if they could do certain things with acrylics almost right off the get go. The woman doing my acrylics pulled an attitude about my friend's choice in getting acrylics done as well claiming we were the reason that her schedule was messed up when we called ahead of time and made an appointment ourselves. After not only a week of getting the acrylics they've started chipping, cracking, and falling off. My friend had complaints about bruising under the nails from how roughly they were rushing through it. The design they did on my nails could've been done better by a toddler unfortunately and I can say without a doubt we will definitely not be returning nor recommending. read more

This is a hidden gem! I moved to Ohio from out of state almost two years ago and ashamed to say I have been neglecting my feet. I got off work at 5pm on a Saturday and after being turned away at another nail salon that also closed at 6pm, I called ahead to see if I could get a pedicure. The woman that answer came back on the line and said sure. I got to the salon at 5:15 and I was immediately greeted and taken back within 5 mins. I felt terrible showing up so close to closing (6pm). I apologized to the nail tech who was nothing but kind and took her time despite the salon closing. She did not rush at all. The pedicure was amazing! I used to make the drive to West Carrollton to another salon until I found Trendy Nails. I live in Centerville and will go to Trendy Nails from now on. I leave with beautiful nails that last 3+ weeks until I go back to get them filled. The pedicures are wonderful, Tuesday and Wednesday the "mini pedi" is on special, but I have to get a full pedi. I had an issue once with my gel top coat and they fixed it not once but TWICE! That was the only time I have ever been less than 100% satisfied and they did everything to fix the mistake. I have referred many friends here and they are all wonderfully happy with their nails as well. read more

My pink and white acryllics are gorgeous and I get loads of compliments on them. Their prices are average, but worth it. I used Trendy Nails salon for the first time today. I came in late afternoon on a Saturday and had no wait time. The people were very nice and extremely customer oriented. I feel very fortunate to have been placed with A. A, is a technician I will definitely be requesting in the future. I told her how I liked my nails done, and she did exactly what I wanted. The lady I went to was pretty good for conversation; however, after my nails were done I noticed that my thumb was smudged and asked her to fix it. She told me there was no quick fix and that she would have to open a new bottle of nail polish if I wanted it redone. After that she got up and left. I went here to get my nails done, and they were horrible. Every nail is a different size, and a different shape. When they painted them, they didn't go all the way to the edges, and they missed the top and sides of the nails. They didn't push back my cuticles, but on one finger they tried, and they cut me, and it still hurts. They didn't put on enough coats and you can see through them. It's also bumpy in some spots. read more
