Today I called last minute looking for a pedicure for 2 people at the same time. They got us right in! The massage chairs were amazing! One of the best pedicures I've ever had. And what's nice is the staff is very friendly and can speak English. Sometimes it frustrates me when they can't understand me but today we had full conversations with the ladies that did our pedis! I think this nail salon was kept very clean and tidy. Also it wasn't too pricy! I will be going back and suggest it to others. The only down side was if you pay with a credit card you pay more! Bring cash and save signs are placed in the salon but it doesn't really tell you if you use CC you pay more! Next time I'll bring cash. read more

I was traveling in from out of town and came to get dips done . It took a long time and the man working on me was very rough and harsh the way he handled me--pushing me around to get me to move my hands where he wanted them . At one point he pointed to my friend and made a rude comment. When we were finally done we left and I keep finding lumps and bumps on my nails. An expensive process, more than I pay in Chicago and very poorly done. Very disappointed to say the least and at the hands of very rude people. read more

BEWARE DO NOT USE. I went in for a dip manicure. I do these every few weeks, I was traveling and needed a manicure. The service was horrible! The same day 3 nails broke and cracked. I went in to have them fix them and they were unwilling and blamed me for the breaking. Refused a refund and told me I needed to come back the next day for them to fix it. I will not be back! This is a very nice reasonably priced nail salon. The staff here are very friendly. I came in an hour before closing to get a basic manicure and they were able to see me without any issue. I appreciated the care taken to make sure my manicure was done well. I was home for the holidays and went to the first place I could find on google and was pleasantly surprised at how nice a place this is. While I was getting my nails done, I observed the staff interacting with some of their customers and could see that they really take the time to get to know their customers. It seems like they have a decent sized regular customer base...if I lived around here, I'd probably be a regular too! In addition to nail services, they also do lash extensions, facials and massages. I will definitely be returning here in the future whenever I am home. They also give a discount if you pay in cash vs credit card. Also, they are open until 7:30 most days and 8:00PM on Fridays which is great for the after work crowd. I had a horrible experience at Nouveau Nails, I sat down for my scheduled appointment and started looking for a nail color, when I got up from my seat to see a nail polish display the lady put away my colors that were candidates and told me I needed to move to another station for someone else. As I awkwardly grabbed my purse to move all the way to the other side of the store I asked why I had to move and very bitter woman replied " I have to get ready for a customer". I expected to see another customer like myself to come in needing said womans mediocre nail attention. But funnily, no other customers came in. 30 minutes later I mentioned to the manager that I didn't think this was an appropriate way to treat a client . I was told that said woman was sick and couldn't do my nails. I mentioned that sick employees shouldn't come to work and possibly infect fellow co-workers or worse, CUSTOMERS. No one was apologetic in any way and acted as if I was being hard to please. I will never go back to said woman, EVER!!! There does happen to be one technician here who is opposite of her coworkers and is very nice, her name is Mei and she's fabulous. Went in to get a manicure and gel the other day and they didn't push my cuticles down or give us lotion or anything. They filed my nails completely crooked and did two coats of polish which made my nails look absolutely horrible. Definitely do not suggest going to this place!! Absolutely horrible! read more

I showed up here, ten minutes to closing, expecting to be turned away and have to try to get away another day. Lulu graciously agreed to give me a pedi and did a great job. Came here for the first time for a mani/pedi as a walk-in, no wait! Everyone was very nice and I would rate the quality as a little above average. However, five days later (while on vacation) I developed very painful ingrown toenails on both of my big toes. This has NEVER happened to me after a professional pedicure.
