I had a problem with my toilet not flushing after replacing the toilet and replacing the sewer valve it still was not flushing. They sent all their guys to put their heads together to figure out the problem. "That i already new was the problem "wink wink " i just have to say they should hear out the owner of the house, in the first place even if they are women!" I scheduled 2 HVAC appointments yet the technician hasn't fixed or diagnose the issue., even though he appeared 2 hrs claiming he was working .The technician stated he couldn't diagnose the major issue thereby leaving the scene with the HVAC system operating in a less sufficient manner. After 2 appointments/4 hrs later and money spent my HVAC system is still not blowing cold air, and several vents not blowing air at all. I will not be scheduling a 3rd appointment with Aloha. When I called, they refused to help and told me to contact the manufacturer instead. Their "supervisor" was extremely rude, yelled at me, and even told me to "go back to my country." I called my usual plumber and he was unavailable and recommended Calling Aloha. They came out and he worked hard to try to unclog the drain in my kitchen sink, after three tries has said he didn't charge me for coming out and trying. He told me the next step is to try Water Jetting and It was pricey ($650) but, it HAD to be done! So he came out the next morning with another Plumber and a big truck with a trailer and they tried to do it from the roof and no success. But Frank didn't give up! He crawled under our old 1940 house and found an old clean out for the kitchen sink only, he water jetted that and was successful! Poor guy was all muddy and had a great attitude. This review is long OVERDUE...like a year overdue... but I have not forgotten the excellent service we received from Brian, with Aloha Plumbing, Heating and Air. We needed an old whole house fan replaced and wanted as similar a model to the one we had. Brian did so much research for us. We went back and forth with information and calling companies and Brian came up with a very acceptable solution. We had it installed and all works just fine. So thank you to Brian for all of your diligence on our behalf. Fast for ward to today... Our toilet has been leaking at the base. We called Aloha and got an appointment set up that fit OUR schedule. They could have come sooner but it didn't work out. Phone reps at this company are ALWAYS so friendly, knowledgeable and service oriented. Jessie arrived on time and listened to all of our requests. He quickly got to work and took care of the list of things we needed to have looked at. He informed us that the toilet, because of the age of the pipe below, will need to be worked on again with more major work to be done. He cleaned up after his work. And, for now no more leaking!!! If you haven't given Aloha a try then you're missing out on a great business. At 75 years old I have used a lot plumbers and they're by far the best. They fix your problems like they are fixing their own home. No shortcuts or quick fixes. Honest, fair and rates better than most. The only thing I don't like is 3.5% add on for using a credit card. So pay cash, check or ATM card and avoid the avoid the 3.5% which is what banks charge businesses for each card swipe. Give them a call. I highly recommend them. Had three faucets installed and another outdoor water source, however all the pictures won't post. read more

I called Aloha plumbing a couple months ago based off previous great reviews. They answered quick, set an appointment and came over to check a leaky kitchen faucet. The technician replaced the faucet but it still leaked at the base of the sink after he left and he had to come back a few days later to fix that properly and the garbage disposal sounds louder ever since. The caulking that he placed around the new faucet and sink area stayed discolored and started peeling about a month after. See attached photos. We have always used a local retired plumber who helps the seniors here in the mobile home parks in town, but he got too old to crawl under them anymore...On the business owners response below, that is not the man we are speaking of: That was a neighbor that just tried to help...So when we discovered a leak under our mobile home, we contacted the Yucaipa Chamber of Commerce and they recommended Aloha...We already had the skirt off and had identified the small feeder pipe that was the cause of the leak, so we did not need to pay 'extra' for diagnosis and removing the skirt...The tech 'Duke', who now claims he is the co-owner, arrived quickly and gave us a estimate of $225 with the 'senior' discount...after working about 45 minutes (Not counting going back to the shop to get 'better' pipe wrenches), he said he could not get the fittings off to replace the small feeder pipe, so now he would need $520 to fix the issue, because he has to now cut the pipes and install new fittings...So he comes back the next day, works about 45 minutes again, and says all is fixed...But, right away we were suspicious: He gave us no receipt! So three days later, the same location starts leaking again...I call several times, no answer...So finally, I drive over to the location in Calimesa...A very rude girl refuses to help, and is basically going crazy in front of me, and says the phone system is out...I leave my business card on the owners desk...I finally got a voicemail, but called back and still no answer for two days...So I have to drive over to the location again...This time, 'Duke' happens to be there in person, and he finally comes over-of coarse-claiming immediately, 'The leak is probably from a new location'...But of course, it was not...It turn out that he had not properly torqued or tightened the fittings he installed at the junction...He tightened them up properly now and stopped the leak...But: I told him that now, my credit card company was telling me that I was overcharged, now it's suddenly $620 instead of $520...And for the second time, I again tell him I got no receipt...He insists that I am lying, that the repair he quoted was $620, not $520...$620 for two hours of work? So now Duke claims he will meet with the co-owner, and get back to me...But with a receipt, don't you think any argument over the price would be a mute point anyway? So of course, they never get back to us...So we are going to have to dispute the charge with our credit card company, and file a complaint with the state contractors license board...And we are fixed income, disabled seniors...I see so many Trades ripping people off: But can't they at least be honest and upfront with disabled seniors? And give a receipt for the work performed? Then, two weeks later, another leak develops along the same line! This time, we hired another plumber, who fixed everything correctly... I owned my own business for four years, I had all five star reviews on Yelp...You can see by the owners response below that he does not know how to handle complaints from customers, the response from the business is very unprofessional...And yes customers often do get 'aggressive' when they have been ripped off by a trade company, don't return phone calls, have to drive over to the business in person twice, and don't provide the customer with a written or electronic receipt, as required by law...Warning: When a business refuses to leave a receipt for the customer, and refers to his 'private notes', you know the scam is on... read more

I had a clog causing everything to back up in house, I called aloha in the morning they were able to get someone out by afternoon. Eric was the plumber that came and he was amazing. He was able to get out a huge root that was growing in the main line that was causing the clog. He was efficient and polite. We needed our bathroom sink faucets replaced and called Aloha Plumbing based on the reviews. We had all the parts and just needed them to be installed. Duke came out and was very friendly. He installed both faucets quickly and left. We noticed a drip underneath one of the sinks and notified them. Duke came back out the next day and fixed it. We then realized that the faucets themselves were missing the rubber mat or the barrier that is to protect them against the counter/maybe stop water from flowing into the wood underneath/stop it from shifting. We contacted Duke again and was told because the previous owner of the house didn't remodel the counters properly, there was extra height from an extra piece of wood so the screws that accompanied the faucet sets wouldn't have been long enough to add the mat - which is why only the handles have them but not the faucet itself. Really wish that was explained to us while things were being installed so we could've asked for him to use a longer screw (if he had it), or we would've ran to the store real quick to purchase so it all would've been done correctly. We're concerned about water seeping in from use/shifting so we will have to caulk it ourselves. read more

I live in a senior community where the business advertise. I called them out in November 2023 for a simple drip in the shower. They quoted me 400.00 for a part but guaranteed it would stop the drip. It did not. I called them out again in December, a couple weeks later, and they told me I needed a new shower head and it would help. I bought a new shower head, the drip continued. I called them back, they figured out they put a part in wrong and the drip stopped. Two months later I noticed a wet floor behind the shower. I called them back. They now have quoted me $13,000.00 and told me I needed a complete new shower. However, the same drip is back. I asked them to come back stop the annoying drip while I considered this enormous cost.
