Aloha RV Service Dept is the best! We were traveling across country so were on a limited time schedule. We made our appt on Friday from El Paso- they had parts shipped in and we were first appt Tues am at their location in Albuquerque. We have a 310GK Grand Design Solitude Fifth Wheel which was fixed under warranty. They fixed our air conditioner by installing a new thermostat. And black water tank heater. We waited in customer area & nice showroom with coffee. Your first contact is with Jayne at the front service deck - she's terrific- very knowledgeable. And a Master Tech talked to us about repairs. Service department is horrible to deal with. The service advisor Mark just seems like he is completely unhappy with life and probably should not be dealing with people on a daily basis. I drove 400 miles to go pick up and drop off my camper for this Safety Recall and for warranty work that was needed as interior mouldings were coming loose and outlets quit working, etc. Purchased the camper Jan 2017 and used it once. I dropped my camper off on 5/30 Tuesday of last week and never received one phone call. I called that Friday 6/2 in the evening just for a status report and left a message. Saturday I received a phone call from I believe his name was Joe. He had informed me over VM that the interior items had been done but the exterior as well as the Safety Recall that I took the camper in for had not been performed. I waited the weekend and called back on Monday and spoke with Mark. His tone was rude as if I were bothering him. He told me that the parts for the recall were not ordered until the day that I had dropped the camper off, yet the appointment for my recall was made approximately 2 weeks before my appointment day. Mark informed me that if the Safety Recall parts did not come in by 6/9 Friday, 10 days from my appt. day, when I needed the camper, that I could come in at a later date to have the Safety Recall performed. Keep in mind, Safety recall, meaning unsafe for use on the road until recall is performed. This particular Safety Recall was to fix a slide issue. While driving on the road the slides would come out by themselves due to screws breaking away from the side mouldings caused by the factory using screws that were too short. This could cause an unsafe weight distribution on one side or the other which could then cause an accident or worse. But Mark said it was safe to take and to just bring it back at a later date. We came in today, Wednesday 6/7, 8 days after it was dropped off to pick the camper up. We were contacted on Monday afternoon and told that all services were complete. All of the items were covered under my warranty or recall except for what Mark called a roof treatment and full wash which I did pay for as I asked for both to be done. The roof looked like it had not been touched. The sides had a greasy look and feel and were dirty. Neither look like they had been done. When we said we were going to leave it there for him to have it washed correctly, as i did pay to have the service done, Mark got very defensive and said well why don't I just give you your money back and you can take it as is. No, I wanted it washed, I paid for the wash and so called "roof treatment" and I want it done properly. Just as we were getting ready to leave I just so happen to run into the service manager John. He is extremely helpful and was willing to have everything completed as it should have been in the first place. He did inform me that aparently they do not wash the roof of the camper. With that said, I am not too sure you are actually getting what you are paying for when you ask for the "roof treatment". I did explain that I did pay for those services to be performed which were also clearly stated on my invoice. I also explained that I will be happy to leave the camper at their facility until Friday which is 2 days from now so that they could complete the work that I paid for. We will see what happens from here on out. Honestly I wish there was another service facility here locally that could take care of the safety recalls as well as warranty work other than Aloha for my Grand Design. read more

Contrary to other reviewers for Aloha RV, I have had a great experience with them. I bought my travel trailer from them in 2011 and recieved excellent service, training on how to use the trailer and an offer to help winterize the trailer for free the first year I owned it. My very first trip, I took the trailer four wheeling, not to a four wheel location where I parked it and then went four wheeling, I took the TRAILER four wheeling! Of course I beat it up pretty bad, and I did some damage including breaking loose the microwave and heater cover. When the trip was over, I took it back to Aloha and they fixed the microwave and heater cover for free (of course it was still under warranty, but they didn't give me any hassel). I used the trailer several more times that year until winter set in and like an idiot, I didn't take them up on the offer to winterize it and suffered the consequences, I burned out the heating element on my water heater from trying to keep the water from freezing and a shattered water filter cover. When I came in to get the items fixed, they replaced the filter cover free and charged a reasonable fee to replace the damaged heating element. I've also had occasion to purchase items for my trailer from their newly expanded parts store. Staff here were curteous and helpful, answering all my questions professionally. I've dealt with all three departments at Aloha, sales, service and parts and have no issues with any of them. I've never been treated with anything other than professionalism even though it is quite obvious I'm an idiot when it comes to RV's and how to use and care for them. I've learned a lot over the last few years on this subject, thanks in part to the staff at Aloha RV. Even just recently, I had the battery stolen out of the trailer right in front of my house. The A-hole theives who stole it just cut the wires and took off with it. In an effort to save some money, I decided to replace the wiring myself, but I didn't know what gauge wiring to buy or what gauge went to which battery terminal. I went back to Aloha and they were very gracious in giving me the information I needed and even allowed me to look at a trailer that was being readied for delivery so that I could see which wire went where. I will continue to bring my trailer here for service as needed and when I've totally destroyed that one, I'll buy my next one from them as well! read more

One of the best experiences we have ever had purchasing our first rv. They definately go out of their way to make you feeli like part of the family. Our salesman was very professional and knowledgable. We felt no pressure at all. The finance office was also able to handle our transaction timely and accurately. The service we have had before and after the sale was also way above par. In fact, we have recommended them to our friends and family!! BUYER BEWARE OF ALOHA RV! My husband, two kids and I went to Aloha RV in Albuquerque NM on Monday Oct. 10 to look at MPGs. A salesman there showed us some models and my family really liked the showroom model he had on sale. I called him that same week and made him an offer for that model. He countered my offer and I accepted and I left a credit card deposit for $500. That night we celebrated and my kids were thrilled to pick up the RV on Saturday! My son has been researching RVs for months so he was especially excited! When we got there, the same salesman said follow me to your RV. We passed the model we thought we bought, and he took us to a model way in the back of the outside lot that we never saw which had a broken latch, was not cleaned up, and had completely different interior and exterior designs which were ugly and we didn't like. I told him this was NOT what we bought! He said the showroom model is under contract but we could have this other model for the price we agreed to or if we added $200, we could have the showroom model since he thought the financing on the showroom model would fall through. My family left devastated with my son in tears the whole hour ride home! The terrible, cheesy behavior of that salesman was disgusting! I called the managers that day and they said that the showroom model was already sold and that they could do nothing. I hope no one has to endure what we went through! I will never, ever deal with Aloha RV. This salesman was worse than the sleazy car dealers you see on TV! read more
