We just purchased a 2026 Brinkley Z2700 from this dealership, and I feel compelled to share our experience -- because it completely exceeded our expectations. Our first contact was with Dee Been in Sales, and she was outstanding from day one. She was efficient, lightning-fast with answers (even to our most obscure questions), and helped us structure a very specific and somewhat aggressive financing deal. Since this was a first model year unit, she stayed in close contact with the factory during finalization and delivery. Five stars for Dee -- truly. When we arrived for our walk-through, we were welcomed by Traci and Cheryl -- and eventually Audrey joined us as well. These three women were phenomenal. We never once felt rushed. They fully supported a slow, detailed, and thorough inspection. We de-winterized the unit, filled fresh tanks, tested city water, ran every appliance, operated the auto dump valves, slides, A/Cs and furnace, tankless water heater, refrigerator -- everything. They answered every question patiently and thoroughly. Finance Manager Nora Rashid was an absolute pleasure. Friendly, sharp, and completely non-pushy when it came to extended warranties, ceramic coating, or add-ons. The paperwork process was smooth and efficient -- we were in and out quickly without feeling pressured. Josh McGee also stepped in to help tweak a few items that needed attention. He happily swapped out a TV that wouldn't pair with its remote and installed some last-minute accessories without hesitation. Do not expect timely warranty service from LaMesa RV. Even though we had an appointment, they told us today that it will probably be another 2 weeks before they can even look at it. Basically your appointment just gets you into the queue, it is not an appointment to have your RV looked at that day or even that week. You have to be without your vehicle for weeks and all it is doing is sitting on their lot. Surely they could get someone in there to manage the appointment process! read more

Do Not Take A Chance 40' 2023 class A burned/caught fire on their property while they were working on it. Read back of the WO. LaMesa ins't responsible for a rig in their possession. Including stealing by employees. La Mesa's lawyer called and told me it didn't burn, "it melted". What a nightmare it turned into. I want my RV returned in the same condition I gave it to La Mesa RV Center No! My RV was repaired and cleaned, I had to come collect it or be charged storage fees. Photos of cleaned RV I clean better then those the slobs at La Mesa. Water was in the washer. It stinks and moldy. They did more financial damage and physical damage to my RV. read more

Thus far the service department is the worst I have ever dealt with when it comes to a motor vehicle. As mentioned by other reviewers, I was given an "appointment" which was just to drop off my coach and had no bearing on when it would be looked at in the shop. I am now at just under 4 weeks from drop off and still cannot get a straight answer about it actually getting into a shop bay. Just keep being told I am on the tech's clipboard and my service rep will give me a call to give an update. Never happens. Unfortunately, I have no choice as it's warranty work that needs to be done on my new RV and thus there is nowhere else to go. read more

Wow! I had my doubts, since the overall reviews were kind of low. We recently purchased our first RV, out of state. We had an initial problem once we arrived back home and called La Mesa. Ian Nichols was my contact. Honest, told me it would be about three weeks before I could get in and once in, a week to service. So we booked. In the meantime, an electrician friend resolved my issue, but we kept the appointment in case anything else came up and it did. Brought it in. Ian let me know it might be 7-10 days. Wasn't too happy about the shift, but I also understand what's going on in the RV market during the pandemic. Well I was pleasantly surprised when Mr. Nichols called me late on the 7th day to say it was resolved and ready for pick up! Ian is very professional, courteous and friendly. I know I'm not a La Mesa purchaser, but I felt like one. Maybe our second will be La Mesa?!? Thanks to all the friendly staff, everyone made us feel at home. read more

we bought anew Brinkley travel trailer in October of 2024. La Mesa had the best selection and a superb staff, including Matt Walker in sales. Their prices were the best We found anywhere. Today we returned to La Mesa to have them check our trailer hitch and its sway bar system. They met us in the parking lot with a 4 person team of service experts who diagnosed the hitch problem. Dominic in Service made recommendations and gave us his contact information in case any issues might come up. We feel that we have been treated like honored friends . They are the best! read more

I brought my Winnebago RV I purchased 3 months ago brand new for warranty repairs. The Black and Grey Water Tank valves were stuck and I could not use my bathroom. My RV dealer in Texas gave me the information for La Mesa, Albuquerque because they were the closest authorized Winnebago repair facility near me in New Mexico. I dropped it off on Monday and booked a hotel room in Albuquerque for three nights (all that I could afford). They told me the parts for this repair would take a few weeks to come in and I could not pick up my RV until either I paid the $800 for the labor cost or they would not release my RV to me. So my options are to spend about $800 to stay in a hotel for another two weeks (mind you I work from the road and live in my RV) or pay them and then bring it back in two weeks. This is supposed to be warranty work, not a scam to take my money and not even have the RV repaired. Disappointing because even the management would not budge on this. I had to consider living in my pickup truck in a parking lot while waiting on my RV because I did not budget paying almost 1K for a repair that is 100% covered under the warranty. Customer service is horrible. I would never recommend this business to anyone. They choose money over taking care of a customer. read more

The bedroom slide on our 2021 Tiffin allegro 32 SA broke while we were in Albuquerque. Thankfully, Nichole helped us get it, diagnosed and then fixed. They also recommended a mobile mechanic by the name of Guillermo, who was very helpful as well. Do not hesitate to call them as they are quite competent. Incompetent, unprofessional, and rude. Took camper in to get fixed for warranty services. Had to call multiple times while in shop because I wasn't getting any update, Ian in services wasn't giving any info on condition. Finally when I came in to pick it up they charged me $380 for services because they had to "spray water on it and couldn't find the leak." Got the camper back and the window screens were broken! Contacted them about it and they denied everything, Ian and his manager told me to "find another dealer, we're not going to work with you anymore." Very upset and would not recommend La Mesa to anyone. read more

I'd give a negative 5 if it were possible. Do not buy from these people simply for the fact that their service department is the worst I've ever been to. Promises are never kept, phone calls are never returned. They will keep your RV for months. They will not order parts until they have your RV, even knowing ahead which parts are needed and making an appointment. When I contacted customer service for the company's headquarters, the response was unbelievable: "what do you want me to do about it?" We will never purchase from this company again! read more

Wow, this place totally saved our asses (almost literally) during New Year's Eve. On our first extra long road trip in our RV to visit my brother in Colorado, we happened to encounter pretty cold weather (upper teens to low 30s) both ways. We crossed our fingers and did some things that would help prevent our holding tanks from freezing but low and behold, our black tank completely froze and hubby broke the lever to clean out the tank right before we were going to head back to California to warmer weather... We called Winnebago and found out we had to pay out of pocket for any work done even though we were on warranty if we used their "free" road side assistance. Because I was lucky enough to pack our paperwork in the RV, I found a list of all the Winnebago approved dealers in all the states. I guess angels were looking out for us because the ONLY listed dealer in New Mexico was a mile from our RV park and they had a mobile tech that could come out pretty quickly. Robyne, their warranty person was absolutely amazing and very understanding of our situation. We were told that we would have to wait till the next week to get an appointment but due to our situation, they worked on it the same day. They even fixed a leak for us that we were dreading to get done based on our horrible experience with our local RV place that takes forever. So the embarrassing part is that they had to use heaters to warm up our black tank Aka poop tank to dump it for us. I was able to connect to their WiFi while waiting the whole afternoon to get everything fixed and got some work done. Woohoo! plus they were so nice and welcoming to our dogs even giving them treats and peanut butter while we hung out. This experience made having to spend New Year's Eve in Albuquerque in our RV, enjoyable. I can't thank La Mesa enough! Plus, Robyne even called us a week or two later to check in on us. I would give this a negative rating if I could. We bought a brand new 2022 Winnebego Navion and we have had nothing but problems with it. We have asked to get our money back for the "lemon" they sold us and we have heard nothing back from them. It has broken down 4 times and we have been stranded looking for a shop that could fix all the problems, and it is brand new!!
