2.2 and 1.8 pound crab. Delicious.

Aloha is a pleasure to work with. I have seen Aloha Seafood refrigerated trucks at restaurants. They are now delivering to residences. If you like great seafood consider giving them a call. We regularly get Ahi grade 1 sashimi and have never been disappointed. The other night we had Manila clams. All were good and we were surprised there were no dead clams. Our driver told me they check for freshness before leaving the dock. Finally, they have Dungeness crab. For those that don't know, our crab season has been delayed since November due to price negations between fishermen and large wholesale processing plants. The pricing issue is simple. The processors have a glut of last year's crab due to Covid which caused restaurants to shut down. Aloha sells live and cooked crab. Their crab is cooked by a neighbor on the wharf. We had a cooked crab tonight that was fantastic. AlohaSeafood knows that residential chefs don't know their trade lingo and patiently explain the lingo and can give you answers to questions. We have had a myriad of other items including Alaskan black cod and smoked Salmon. AlohaSeafood is small enough they take pride on what they sell. They refuse to sell sub-standard product even when it means they won't have a product. Delivery is fantastic. Where can you order fish in the evening and have it before 1PM the following day. Fish is delivered in refrigerated vans. Aloha is large enough to give you a very competitive delivery and price structure. AlohaSeafood has also partnered with a local wholesaler that sells Produce boxes. We regularly get the organic box. I recommend giving AlohaSeafood a call.

Seafood delivered to my door! Sure! If you want a huge of selection of fresh or frozen seafood delivered to your door, checkout Aloha Seafood. They have an extensive product list. Min of $100/order (split it with your family or neighbors) and only $10 delivery charge. My friends ordered the black cod and the mid piece range fresh scallops and loved it. I ordered the ahi and salmon poke cubes. Loved the ahi. Not sure if I liked the salmon cubes as texture was not what I expected. However I am eating leftover ms next day, and i like it better! Also ordered the Hamachi Kama and can't wait to make that at home. I'd say prices are like what you would get at the store, but to have this much selection to be delivered to your home is amazing. Support this local business with home delivery!

"What's the only thing better than a native San Franciscan? "A native Hawaiian." -- Ancient SF Proverb This place recently opened up for non-commercial (regular people) seafood pickup and delivery. What an amazing opportunity to get off-the-dock fresh seafood at a time when restaurant-going is not an option for many. I called yesterday for fresh Maine lobster, and picked up 3 fighters this morning. Dungeness is on hold again for thanksgiving so I wanted to splurge on something nice. Delivery: they deliver all over the Bay Area, but for me picking up at an OG SF fishery is part of the fun. Pick-ups: place your order via phone or email and when they say it's ready follow your maps app to the pier. Drive all the way to the end of the dock, past all the fish trucks delivering to Chez Panisse and all the other fancy restaurants, and pretty much the last rollaway door says "Aloha Seafood." Enter, walk through the plastic refrigerator strips, and Kaiser or Lloyd will show you to your order. Pay cash for the easiest transaction. Hours: 4 am - 12 pm but you gotta order beforehand and wait for your pickup window. It's wholesale price with 5-star restaurant quality. Next time I'll order more. They have lobster, crab, oysters, salmon, halibut, swordfish, dabs, lox....pretty much everything you would find on a 5-star seafood menu. Lucky you!

Do you carry salmon fins? I am looking for salmon fins for grilling. I am aware you carry whole fish, as most fish markets. Do you happen to have salmon fins (only) for sale? Thanks.

Aloha Chris, We carry whole fish, which includes the fins. What exactly are you requesting and what are you using it for if we may ask? Mahalo, Mike

Do you offer sashimi grade fish?

Aloha Kalo K., Yes we do, some items we carry are Ahi, Salmon, Hamachi, Scallops, Halibut, Seabass, uni, etc.…

Ferry Building Cornerstone Does Great Seafood by the Bay…read more Who doesn't want excellent seafood in a cazh sit-down resto by the waterfront? Said nobody. Welcome to Hog Island Oyster Co., which hits all the wickets at SF's Ferry Building, and where the eats are so good, even a former local will go to it again and again. What did we get? 1. Oyster Bar Mix. You can mix different raw oysters, and we got the locally sourced Sweetwater with its mild buttery flavor and the saltier Narragansett Bay from the East Coast. Best of both worlds for a happening contrast of flavor. The house made mignonette was on point, being just the right amount of mild sourness. Absolutely recommend but also with some cocktail sauce. 2. New England Style Clam Chowder. My favorite kind of clam chowder, we had several different riffs on this during our most recent road trip through NorCal. And the is one was by far the best. It's a happening dish with a lighter broth but so tasty nonetheless, being not too salty and still creamy enough. The potatoes weren't mushy but still had some good mouthful, not starchy. The clams cooked perfectly and fresh. Overall seasoning was good and well balanced. Definite recommend. 3. Shrimp Po' Boy. One of the best I have had. Shrimp was decent size and batter was crunchy but plump and moist with good and not overpowering seasoning. Bread also had excellent crunchy crust and soft interior. Not a huge amount of slaw for extra flavor, but it's okay before the shrimp got to shine. Comes with snappy fries dusted in Cajun seasoning and organic Heinz ketchup (nice tomato flavor comes though and not overly syrupy sweet for a refreshing dip). Recommended. A great eatery worth visiting when you're in town. Also worth a detour from the usual touristy Fisherman's Wharf. Maybe catch a bite on the way to Sausalito on the next visit. But as always, Yelpers, give this one a try if you haven't already. Even if you're a local.
