It's small but has a lot of amenities. It's wintertime, so i can't expect much, but this is the first time I've seen a park with a roller hockey rink. That's pretty cool. They have a horse shoe area, volleyball court, tennis court, playgound for kiddos, and rest rooms right up front. I loved the palm trees they have lining the front walkway. The only thing that was a smidge alarming was the homeless fella sleeping in the corner. :(

Very plain and simple park. Playground and bathroom. Grass fields. Not much special and not very big. It's outshines by the large sports park next to it.

Aloha Shores is an OK park, but nothing special. It does need some TLC in some areas, but it isn't too bad. It is in a convenient area being right next to Rainbow Library. You can get a 2 for 1 with your kids and save some gas, which is always a good thing. There are actually a ton of activities here that you wouldn't notice just driving by. The activity areas include tennis courts, a roller hockey rink, a horseshoe game area, sandy volleyball court with a net, and a playground. There are also several areas with picnic tables and BBQ grills in the center of the park. There was 1 water fountain that I saw, but it didn't work at all, so bring your own drinks if you are going to play there. There are also bathrooms in the center of the park. People we were cleaning them when we were there, so they were nice and clean, at least today. There is one playground area here. It is ok, but small. They have several slides and things to climb on, but that is it. There is also a weird sand digger thing, but it seems quite broken. It is ok for little ones, but it can get crowded quick due to its small size and lack of activities. There is a lot of room to run around though and several hills to climb up and down. My daughter had more fun just exploring than playing on the playground today. It would be a good place to bring a ball to kick around. As for the TLC it needs... There are some dead spots out in the grass that need a little love. I know it is Vegas and it is hard to grow grass, but the dead spots were muddy and yucky today from the recent rain and just messy. The water fountain needs to be fixed or replaced, especially before it gets to summer time, in case kids are there without their own water. The play area could use a couple more things to play on. I don't know why so many parks don't have swings any more. Swings were always the best thing at the park in my day. Who knows on that though. The sand digger really needs to be replaced because I think a kid could get hurt trying to play with it. So it isn't the best park in the area, but it isn't bad either.

Covered picnic area, playground, and a ton of green grass.

I don't have any children to play on the slide, or play tennis, or roller hockey, or horseshoes, but this is a great place to do any of those things if you'd like. The bathroom area was large and clean. My favorite thing about this park was all of the GREEN GRASS. It was plush and free of weeds, holes, and dog poop. I could see myself taking a nap, having a picnic, or playing catch with a friend here.

This is a panoramic view from the street entrance.

Small park with a short walking trail. This park has tennis courts, a playground, a roller hockey rink and some small grassy areas.

I love coming here for pickleball on the weekends as the courts are really nice and the people are typically friendly while also very competitive.

I normally don't leave reviews, but parents deserve to know about our experience here…read more We were visiting with friends and their 5-year-old son was getting ready to play laser tag. While we were helping him get set up, he touched one of the laser tag guns and an employee immediately got irritated and told him in a very rude tone that he "doesn't understand" and couldn't play anymore. He's a young child -- kids that age are still learning and developing at different paces. There was no need to speak to him that way, especially in front of everyone. He ended up in tears. When I calmly approached to understand what happened, the employee continued with the same attitude and dismissive behavior. Instead of de-escalating, she became confrontational, which eventually led to security being called and us being asked to leave. The situation was completely blown out of proportion and handled in a very unprofessional way. This is a children's venue. Staff should be patient, understanding, and trained to communicate appropriately with young kids and their parents. If someone doesn't have the temperament to work around children, this may not be the right environment for them. On top of that, the playground area itself raises safety concerns. There are kids of all ages running full speed through a treehouse-style structure with steep stairs and heavy traffic, which feels like an accident waiting to happen without proper supervision or flow control. Very disappointing experience overall. Parents should be aware of how interactions are handled here.

This place is huge, beautiful, and surprisingly impressive. It has that rare park energy where you can wander around and still feel like you have only discovered about 12 percent of it. The grounds are spacious, clean, and well kept, with plenty of room for events, families, kids, dogs, festival chaos, and people like me pretending I am "just going for a stroll" when really I am hunting for snacks. For a big event, it worked really well. There was enough open space that it did not feel like everyone was crammed together in one sweaty little patch of grass questioning their life choices. The park gives you room to breathe, walk, sit, explore, and fully commit to whatever themed event you accidentally became emotionally invested in. Overall, this is a vast, beautiful park with great event potential and plenty of space to enjoy. We came for the pirates, but the park itself was definitely part of the treasure

I honestly didn't know much about this tragedy beforehand, but I'm really grateful that this garden exists--to build awareness, offer a place for reflection and healing, and serve as a meaningful memorial honoring all the innocent lives lost. You can really feel how much care and intention went into creating this. Each life lost is honored with a tree and a small tribute area, and it appears that loved ones wrote personal messages for each individual. It was incredibly moving. Walking through the garden made us pause, reflect, and truly appreciate the time we have here on earth. It was especially heartbreaking to see how young some of the victims were--some only around 20 years old, with their whole lives ahead of them. I appreciated that you're able to walk through the space at your own pace, almost meditatively, reading about each person and seeing their photos. Each memorial area had its own unique style, reflecting the individuality of the person it honors. You can learn their age, where they were from, and a little about who they were. Overall, this is a powerful, peaceful, and beautifully done memorial. If you're in the area, I highly recommend taking the time to visit--it's a quiet reminder of loss, resilience, and the importance of compassion and remembrance.
