I really enjoy coming to this park! It's expansive, has walking paths, skate park, a dog park, playground, soccer complex across the street, and more! It's a great way to get your exercise on with an upbeat ambiance. Over the years it has attracted more homeless so be careful of here early or late, but otherwise it's a great expansive park with lots of fitness options.

It's a large park! If I understand correctly it is two parks. This one near the pool facility and across the street is the soccer fields. Lots of easy to access parking. Nice features. Very good for walking for exercise. I shall return for future visits.

This was a great experience! Definitely kid, friendly and animal friendly! Wasn't there long arrived at 3 PM not a lot of kites in the air, but that's okay.

Yelp Review 2023 #244: I've been to Desert Breeze Park a few times over the last decade. I've been here for festivals and events. And most recently, Paws in the Park. Whenever there's an event, they have helpful staff patrolling the parking lot to make it less chaotic. The parking is on a big dirt lot so, there's always that fear of puncturing your tires on a sharp rock or something. It's a big park. They have a field for soccer (you'll see huge soccer balls in different colors made of concrete at the front of the park), baseball/ softball, playground, picnic areas, and a place where you can take your family and fur babies. All of my visits have been pleasant. I've been to other parks in Vegas - some are smaller, dirty, and one with used needles on the ground (Sunset Park). Will I come here just because? No. It's far from home. There are restrooms. I've not seen a park restroom that's immaculate - this park is no exception. You do your business, wash your hands (bring your own soap), and go.

[Above all, will I be back?] It is a big park with lots of activities so I will be back if I am in the area in the future. - Ambience It is a huge park with few baseball fields, a soccer field, a skate park, a swimming pool, a roller hockey rinks, and 3 dog parks (cycle through maintenance for grass growing, etc). Nice grass. Many homeless dwelling near water pad area and here and there throughout the park. Not sure if I want to come here at night. There is a community center with a lot of programs and events like Asian new year festival, Tacos & Tamales. Several entrances/exits. - Skate park: It was built in 1996. Nice layout. Large bowl and 5ft transition/pipe area. Banks, flatland and vert.Lots of memorials around the park, even for the dead skate boards! Good for beginners as there are low transitions. - Restroom It was clean and well maintained. Gender separated. - Location It is near the Lakes, between Summerlin and Spring Valley. On Durango and W Spring Mountain Rd. 8. Parking Plenty of parking spaces to the skate park. * If this review was helpful, please vote :) ** Let's get connected - Instagram @juxycat

This park is a real hidden gem,.. it is located at the corner of West spring mountain and cimarron and it has a huge soccer complex and a water Park venue, and a playground and nice meandering sidewalks for walking around. I came here for the Africa Day Festival and had a great time, if you have a family or you have a bunch of kids you want to entertain, this is a big Park to bring everyone and I think there's something for everyone to do. I would definitely recommend it.

Awesome park. One of the best out here in Las Vegas. It's very big and has so much to offer!! Many sports fields and even a skate park. What's great is that the dog park is in separate parts, divided for weight categories. If people would respect These now too, that would be great. Very busy park but it's so spacious that it doesn't bother. Parking on both sides and a walking trail all around.

I normally don't leave reviews, but parents deserve to know about our experience here…read more We were visiting with friends and their 5-year-old son was getting ready to play laser tag. While we were helping him get set up, he touched one of the laser tag guns and an employee immediately got irritated and told him in a very rude tone that he "doesn't understand" and couldn't play anymore. He's a young child -- kids that age are still learning and developing at different paces. There was no need to speak to him that way, especially in front of everyone. He ended up in tears. When I calmly approached to understand what happened, the employee continued with the same attitude and dismissive behavior. Instead of de-escalating, she became confrontational, which eventually led to security being called and us being asked to leave. The situation was completely blown out of proportion and handled in a very unprofessional way. This is a children's venue. Staff should be patient, understanding, and trained to communicate appropriately with young kids and their parents. If someone doesn't have the temperament to work around children, this may not be the right environment for them. On top of that, the playground area itself raises safety concerns. There are kids of all ages running full speed through a treehouse-style structure with steep stairs and heavy traffic, which feels like an accident waiting to happen without proper supervision or flow control. Very disappointing experience overall. Parents should be aware of how interactions are handled here.

This place is huge, beautiful, and surprisingly impressive. It has that rare park energy where you can wander around and still feel like you have only discovered about 12 percent of it. The grounds are spacious, clean, and well kept, with plenty of room for events, families, kids, dogs, festival chaos, and people like me pretending I am "just going for a stroll" when really I am hunting for snacks. For a big event, it worked really well. There was enough open space that it did not feel like everyone was crammed together in one sweaty little patch of grass questioning their life choices. The park gives you room to breathe, walk, sit, explore, and fully commit to whatever themed event you accidentally became emotionally invested in. Overall, this is a vast, beautiful park with great event potential and plenty of space to enjoy. We came for the pirates, but the park itself was definitely part of the treasure

You can really feel how much care and intention went into creating this. Each life lost is honored with a tree and a small tribute area, and it appears that loved ones wrote personal messages for each individual. It was incredibly moving. Walking through the garden made us pause, reflect, and truly appreciate the time we have here on earth. I appreciated that you're able to walk through the space at your own pace, almost meditatively, reading about each person and seeing their photos.
