This park is great for family, kids and dogs. This park is huge! It has two large fields, a skate park and playgrounds. My fiancé and I brought our two dogs here. We were able to explore without getting in the way of other dogs. The fields are huge! The grass was a bit dead, but I'm sure during the spring and summer, the grass would be super green! There was a tunnel that led to another field and a walking path, which we thought was cool! There were dog poop bags around the park and trash cans which is great! You can also view the Vegas strip from the tunnel, which was pretty cool! We definitely will be back here again! read more

We've gone to about 6 different playgrounds in this immediate area, and Anthem Hills probably has the largest play structure we've seen! There's one for bigger kids and one for toddlers, and they are all in a gated off area. There's plenty of seats, shade, water, parking (with a very large dedicated parking lot). Next to the playground is a skate park, and there are very large sports fields The bathroom is the industrial type with metal bowls and no seats, but it was clean enough. read more

There is nothing like going to a park and relax, play with the pup, play with the kids, watch a game of baseball or softball, or even practice your skate boarding tricks! Well, this park seems to have it all! It is very well kept up, bathrooms are very clean, the drinking fountains work LOL and friendly people who go there. Plenty of parking and a play ground for the kids! Take your puppy for a walk and play fetch! Puppy Love! What a great place to have a picnic with your loved ones, group of friends, or even a nice romantic date. Love is in the Air At Th Park! OMG A added feature at the upper end of the park is Anthem East Trails, so cool, so awesome, see the wilderness and enjoy the walk or run "watch out for the snakes ! This is one of my favorite parks to take my son to. We come and play during weekday mornings and there are a few moms with their kids enjoying the nice weather. Here's my mom-approved reasoning: 1. Since it's up in Anthem, you know it's going to be a nice and clean park. It was btw. 2. Again, since it's UP in Anthem, you have a nice view of the city with the strip way off in the distance. You almost forget that you are in Vegas. It would be a nice place for date night too. 3. The play area is huge! You have a huge jungle gym for the older kids and a huge jungle gym for the little ones. I like that there's that long walkway (see pic) to go up to the jungle gym instead of just ladders. It's very protected and your little ones are less likely to fall off. Plus the play area is gated off. 4. Lots of grassy area for kids to run around and be kids. 5. The kids that have been playing there on the days we visited were not little a$$holes like at some other parks. 6. There's a basket ball court, volleyball court, skatepark, shaded picnic tables with a bbq grill and another huge grassy area down below the park. 7. There are also walking trails around the park. The one thing I'm not fond of is the fake grass turf stuff that's in the jungle gym area. It gets stuck to the back of your shoe and around your ankles. I had to hit our shoes against my car tires so we wouldn't trek that stuff in the car. But otherwise, this park will be in the rotation of parks for our mommy meet up groups. read more

This is one of the best parks in this entire valley. They have lots of space for soccer, football, baseball diamonds, and they even have a hockey rink. The kids playground area is the right size so as a parent you want have to be on edge the entire time. Your little one's are always within view. The fields have lots of hills if you are interested in training or getting a good run regiment going. I always see people walking their dogs around this area and I have never spotted any forgotten disasters or land mines. So for the most part everyone here manages to clean up well which is always a hugh plus. ***On the far east of the park there is a little hidden jewel in the form of a walking path.*** The hill will give you a decent burn if thats your thing. Or you can enter next to the middle school and take the down hill approach. Either way the sunset from this path is perfect. read more

I didn't have much time to look around the park, but from what I had a chance to see, it was really nice. Plus, Anthem Hills is a nice part of Henderson. It is also very close to Del Webb Middle School, in case you were wanting to go close to the time school lets out. The park is sunken in, which is a cool feature. If you don't know what I am talking about, you will see. You have to walk down trails to get to the park, but the incline/decline is not too steep. They are stroller/wheelchair friendly. There is a playground near the parking area; I can't recall if there was a fence around it. The grass was dying (or already dead) in the winter months, but I'm sure that's the case for all parks. The park is 55 acres (according to the website) and was clean. I would recommend this park if you live in this area. read more

Very nice park with great views. Very clean and in a great area. My daughter loves that they have four swings instead of just the standard two so she doesn't have to wait long for her turn. The jungle gyms for big and small kids seem nice and fun. Great park to walk. Enough parking. The playground area is gated around. I guess that's so the little tykes can't wander off far. I like that feature. There are tables under the gazebo that's great for taking in the view. Skatepark, outside skate hockey rink. I think there's a soccer field down below the park but I don't think it's part of the park. My daughter and I really like this park. It's her favorite at the moment. read more

Even with the COVID-19, people come here to spend some time. The playground is closed, the rims for basketball have been taken down and the skateboard park has been locked down. People are still able to sit well spaced out on the grass or at the tables. They also still have people surveillance the area to make sure that people are social distancing. I think I've lived in the desert too long to remember what real, fresh grass smells like: disgusting. Took my 8 year old niece for some fresh air and we made the drive down. There were 2 things I loved most about this park. The first being the turf. It was made out of that soft rubber they like surrounding playgrounds with in order to minimize injuries, but what made it so interesting and different was the fake grass laid over the top. You can honestly run around like a hippie with no shoes on and it would have looked positively normal. The second thing I loved was the fence surrounding the entire playground. There were 2 gates located on the north and south of the playground. It enabled you to keep a good eye on your kids without having to worry about the 100 exits and escapes they could make. We showed around 430 and most of the kids at the park were either in the skate park (yes, there is one), or were in soccer practice. Most of the children didn't show up till about 6, so keep that in mind if you wanted your kids to have a playmate. It's a very nice park filled with both parents who helicopter their children and those, like me, who just want to read a book in peace without having to constantly worry about their kids. read more

I'll say it again: Henderson knocks it out of the park (no pun intended) when it comes to their facilities and parks. I recently attended a wedding ceremony/reception that was held at Anthem Hills Park. I was skeptical, but everything turned out beautiful. There is a nice view of the city from the top level (soccer fields are below), there is a large play ground and lots of open space. My only gripe was that the bathrooms were absolutely horrific. If the city can rent out space to host an event, they can surely have the staff to maintain the bathrooms during such an event. read more

Anthem Hills Park is a huge park that is great for walking, kids sports, BBQ'ing, and even volleyball - yes volleyball! They have three volleyball courts and, depending on how the lines are drawn, about six soccer fields for kids' tournaments. At the South-East corner of the park, there are trailheads that are great for biking and hiking. During kid's sports events, parking gets packed so you'll have to park on the street, but there is plenty of room on the streets for parking. The park has plenty of trees and real grass (a big deal for our desert area) to relax under and on. The Anthem Highlands and Madeira Canyon communities have a park within walking distance of all homes, but this one is one of the largest and hence the reason for the different types of sports that are played there. This is a beautiful park, with a really great 8 mile trail that leads all the way to far Henderson. The park is always clean,I love the hockey rink, and the basketball courts. The skate park however is always full of skooter kids.!!! So annoying!! read more

Great park with lots of open spaces and amenities. Plus it has an amazing view. Being that it is in a residential area you really get a feel of safety and community unlike some of the other larger parks in town. There's enough space to spread out from the rest of the people enjoying the day which is nice. I am not a fan of going to the park and feeling like I am spending time with a bunch of strangers. I also like that the park is kind of sunken down into the ground so on those windy days it kind of just blows over the fields. read more

We like this park and come mostly for the smaller kids play area. Our toddler likes it a lot and it is fenced in which gives you some peace of mind if you have a runner they cannot run into the parking lot or in front of cars. Had park style restrooms which are decent, but bring your own soap/hand sanitizer. Has a skate park that seems to get a lot of use, but I can't comment on the quality. Slides and such get super hot in the summer time so you need to get there early. Some shade but not much and the turf also gets super hot. But it is better than sand. Plenty of places to picnic and a large soccer field with a nice long walking route suitable for strollers. Never seems crowded on the weekdays. read more

this is a great park! LARGE!!!! There's a big football/soccer field--- It's huge. Probably like--no lie--- large enough for 4 or 5 games at a time. If you go farther up the hill towards the main park, they have basketball, tennis, volleyball [on sand]- playground & skate park! Their are also lots of benches spread throughout the park for picnics or just hanging out. the park is open pretty late too! We held a v-ball practice here on the basketball courts & they allow you to turn the lights on while it's dark. I'm used to parks closing at sundown in cali- so this is nice in the winter when it gets dark at 5. My sons b-ball team also holds practices here in the evenings as well-- It doesn't get to filled up or overrun... I really like this park! read more

Great amenities, but horrible if you have young kids. There's a lot of teenagers who play on the playground and use foul language.
