It was a slooow Sunday afternoon when Mom and I ordered soft-serve vanilla with colored jimmies (aka rainbow sprinkles) in cups. They were out of chocolate so I couldn't get my usual swirl. No matter. The taste was tasty! There are many old-school options such as cookies and cream and other fun flavors. Oddly enough, if I look out my apartment window, I can see the building where the dundalk store once resided. We needed a pie, because it was pi day. In the past, Jeremy and I have visited much larger, chain grocery stores on pi day, we've come up empty-handed. Santoni's did not disappoint. We got a gorgeous lemon meringue pie, and it was discounted several dollars, which made it all the sweeter. The store is small, but clean with an air about it that suggests that the owners are proud of it. They should be.

It's nice that they also have a car wash. If you buy a car wash you get discounted gas saves you about $.30 a gallon. It's usually quick and easy to get in and out of the gas station. They also have free vacuums included with the purchase of your car wash. It says pretty busy and they do need to empty the trash more often but overall it's a good gas station to stop at.

The candied yams and cabbage were good. Those are my go-to's! My partner didn't say much about her meal, but from the looks of things, she enjoyed it. But that Oreo cheesecake...... BABY! It was so good! I was only going to take a few bites and ended up eating the whole thing! ...and I paid for it later, but it was worth it.
