Rack of Baby back ribs
Anastazia V.

We were recommended this restaurant by someone at our hotel and the menu looked great. Unfortunately, the food just didn't live up to the recommendation. Our table ordered the French dip, rack of ribs, and shrimp and grits. The ribs were not good. They were rubbery and almost impossible to cut through. The fries were good. Others felt the same sentiments about their meals, it was just ok. Not great. Service was great though and it was a good atmosphere; the food just was not good.

We were traveling through Baltimore on our way from Nashville to Philly, and we met up a local friend at Glyndon Grill based on his recommendation. He got stuck at work, so we ordered an appetizer of the steak skewers and a beer. They have several local craft beers on tap. I asked to try a couple (Italian lager and IPA), but didn't like either of them, so I went with a Stella bottle. They even had the Stella branded glasses to pour the beer into. The appetizer included 5 skewers of tasty chunks of beef. The meat was tender and delicious. It came with a peanut glaze, but we asked for it on the side. When my buddy arrived, we ordered some burgers. My son and my buddy both had the bacon Swiss cheeseburger with mushrooms on a brioche bun. I had a plain burger. All three came with crispy string fries. The burgers were delicious and all three of us finished the whole thing. Anna was very attentive the entire visit. Even though my buddy was 30 mins late, she never rushed us to order or finish our dinner. Highly recommend visiting Glyndon Grille when you're in the Baltimore area. They also have a nice bar and an outdoor patio when the weather is nice.

My whole family enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner at Glyndon Grill. The service was friendly and efficient and the food was delicious. They were very busy as it was thanksgiving but there was plenty of space for our large group.

We had a terrific experience here! The restaurant and service definitley exceeded our expectations. The hostesses, server, bartender and manager were all extremely pleasant and continued to check in on us throughout our dining experience. I beleive this is a family owned location and it feels like everyone is working together toward the common goal to create memorable experiences for patrons. The regular menu has several options and gives you a good amount of variety. I ordered short ribs and they were so tender and seasoned really well. They fell apart as soon as I put the fork in. I have to say that the loved the crab and roasted corn chowder and the southwest egg rolls with avocado were delicious! This was a great experience at a local gem. Be sure to stop by if you are in the area. You will not be disappointed. Parking is easy. The restaurant is really nice on the inside with a large bar area and a separate dining area. They also have a private room. We sat in the large bar area at the high top tables.

Our waiter was amazing and friendly. The calamari was decent but the pasta and salad were delicious. The environment was a little odd as notice other staff and customers staring occasionally. Do with that information what you will.

I came to visit this place for the first time with a friend today for a Sunday afternoon brunch at 1:00 p.m. plenty of parking out front into the side of the restaurant the parking is shared with other businesses in the area. I requested to be seated at a high table near the window and it was a great spot. Music I'll be on so it's great the music was about from the 1980s to 1990s, mix pop music. Our server Corey was amazing! I had the coffee and apple grilled chicken burger. The coffee was just okay It wasn't as hot as I would like it to be. The grilled apple burger was just okay but it did come with shoestring fries that I literally ate the crumbs of. The fries were so good!! I also got a virgin bloody Mary hahaha I don't drink but I did miss having a bloody Mary so I substituted lol. Tomato juice with the fixings lol My friend had the crab soup and he said it was delicious I could smell it and it looked really rich creamy and good. He also enjoyed his Benedict crab and that looked really well also. All of the staff were pleasantly nice and I would return!

French Dip Sandwich with Shoestring French Fries

I visited this restaurant as a recommendation for a place nearby where I was visiting for the day. I perused the menu several times not knowing what to try but I eventually settled for the Blackened Pasta with Chicken. I modified it to add a side of garlic bread. The pasta was pretty good but was lacking a bit more seasoning for flavor. I really enjoyed the fact that all food is prepared to order ( so you can make pretty much any modifications) and bread is made daily in-house. I didn't get a beverage , so the next time I visit, I would try out their drink/cocktail menu. My friend ordered the French Dip sandwich, which he gave a great review. It was just as delicious as it looked. Next time, I want to get the Chicken Cobb and order a side of garlic bread. The staff is very knowledgeable and hospitable, which give this restaurant a down-home feel, which I enjoy

What a nice place. Was greeted at the door by a nice chap. The menu isn't overwhelming but had many foods to choose from. Our server was really nice and attentive I think he was Sean. Hubs got a brunch skillet which he loved. Sausage, potatoes and eggs in a cute little skillet. I got the French dip and it was delicious. Lots of prime rib meat and horseradish sauce and au jus for dipping. I loved the horseradish sauce so much I was dipping my fries in it. We got dessert hubs got chocolate mousse which he loved. I got crème brûlée which was really good but not a true custard it was more like a pudding. I'm giving 5 stars because the food and service was above and beyond great.

My son and I were looking at the Menu to do a DoorDash order, all of a sudden, my husband stated, "We can just get dressed and go to the store." Great idea! From the time we walked in until the time we left, Service was A++++++. My husband asked my Son and I if we wanted to stay or go home, I'm so glad, we chose to stay and eat in. As we sat there waiting for our food, they were getting busy. All of a sudden, the Manager came from out the back and began helping. He washed his hands and started assisting on the Front Line, once that was caught up, he then washed his hands again, and assisted on the Grill. Never looked like he broke a sweat. Omg, and the Young Lady that helped with the Desserts, Customers, taking Orders, bringing Orders to the Table, was amazing! She didn't break a Sweat either! After my family and I received our Meal, I just couldn't stop watching the positive things that I saw. I went to the Register to speak with the Manager to explain how I was truly Impressed with the Service that was bestowed upon us and others. The young ladies name that kept that store flowing like it was nothing, is Leynah. She has a wonderful spirit, and didn't allow anything to Steal Her Joy. She is the Best!! Please, give her the recognition she deserves! And, I would be remiss if i didn't mention the young lady that was helping gather the ingredients. From the time we walked in the Store, she was smiling, I felt so welcomed. I'm so sorry sweetheart, I didn't get your name. Thank you All, so much for your service. Last, but not least, the Ambiance was Superb.

There was a really nice girl that came from behind the counter to help me because she could tell I had not been there in a while. It had been a year. I guess it showed on my face . We talked and she walked me through the sauces with a sample of the ones she recommended. Again super nice . The restaurant was clean and bright. Some employees were cleaning and greeting customers as they entered. Keep up the great work. I can't wait to go home and indulge. And.... I had a birthday brownie waiting me ?! The ribs are absolutely delicious, and the burgers and fries never disappoint. I've also had the salmon and the brick-style flame-grilled chicken, which has an amazing smoky, flame-grilled flavor and is always cooked just right. One of my favorite memories is sitting by the fireplace and enjoying a cozy meal. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it just as enjoyable to dine in as it is to take your food home. If you're looking for a reliable restaurant with generous portions, great service, and food that keeps you coming back, Glenwood is an excellent choice. Zero Proof Night…read more Sunday 8:01 Appetizer : Watermelon Salad Entree: Stanford Burger Side : Sautéed Spinach, French Fries Zero Proof Drinks : Pom & Circumstance Half Moon My zero proof night was underwhelming. This bar does not give any presentation or flair to their non alcoholic beverages. Pom and Circumstance was zesty and sweet . The Half Moon drink was nothing more than grapefruit juice with a cherry . I was expecting more presentation since it's literally a tonic. I would like to mention that the bar was slammed with guests and the tables were not getting their drinks on time. So, maybe it was a slippery Sunday night for the bar and my zero proof drinks lacked in pizazz. The watermelon salad was a wild card choice as Glenwoods does not have much fresh fruit on the menu. I wish it was not so chunky ... chunks of watermelon and tomato covered in a balsamic sauce and feta cheese. This salad pairs nicely with the arugula. The sides were hot and came out expeditiously. The burger was undercooked and the server offered to re-Fire a new burger. 5 out 10 night .

If you are looking for Mediterranean food that is fresh, flavorful, and filling, this place is a great choice. The restaurant itself is more of a fast casual style setup, nothing fancy inside, but do not let that fool you because the food was excellent. I started with the falafel appetizer, which came with five falafel balls, tzatziki sauce, and a fresh little lettuce and tomato mix on the side. The falafel was perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside, warm inside, and very fresh tasting. The tzatziki was a great match and everything had a clean, homemade flavor. For my main meal, I ordered the Big Greek Feast and it was a ton of food. It came with gyro lamb meat, grilled chicken and pork skewers, pita bread, feta cheese, a pepper, and a lemon wedge, plus two sides. I chose rice and salad, and both were excellent. The salad was very fresh and surprisingly filling, and the rice was seasoned perfectly. Everything tasted well prepared and full of flavor. Portions were generous enough that I could not finish it all and ended up getting a second meal out of it, which is always a plus. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the bathrooms were very clean, and overall the experience was great. This was an excellent stop for Mediterranean food and I would definitely come back again.

Was not greeted however upon exiting bar area to the quieter dining area I was quickly greeted. There were multiple large parties occuring one upstairs (actual party as its their reserved party area) and another in the side dining ares. So there was a bit of louder but reserved noise at time. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. I ordered a Paloma spirited (on the bar special board in the bar area), grilled octopus, a side greek salad. All came out within reason. However, I had to send back my order of grilled octopus as it was OVER cooked and extremely tuff/rubberly. I then ordered ziti with blackened chicken and extra mozzarella. This came out hot and within reason. The portion was huge. Its more then enough for 2 plus people. So tasty and delicious. I then ordered the island mule (from the bar special board) so enjoyable.

I enjoyed my meal but for the uneven temperatures. I would have like everything hotter. The potatoes were hot, the roasted vegetables were warm and and the cod was tepid. I A guest ordered the cream of crab soup and it came out warm so was sent back. All those who got the crab cake were delighted. 3 crab soups were enjoyed and I ended up with 2 great appetizers: the oven fried octopus & the lamb chops , very meaty and a pleasant surprise. One guest got eggplant and spaghetti. Since we are expecting a snow storm I have two doggie bags the Papillion will not be sharing. We were in a room with another much larger party, we were a party of 7. They were louder than us but we had no complaints as we had no problem hearing each other. The building Maria's is in apparently was a former karaoke bar and before that a lovely house. The menu is eclectic : Italian, Greek, Chesapeake Bay &, some Mexican food thrown in. My biggest complaint is the uneven temperature of the food. The kitchen might wish to get their act together. Meanwhile, this weekend at home I'll be eating my delicious cod & vegetables and maybe some spaghetti another night. One more plus: very accommodating as far as adjusting the plates for those lactose & butter intolerant
