The technician comes out every three months and checks on all the stations and changes out any that appear to have activity. Staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. Wow! Noah is fantastic! Friendly, polite, listens well to my concerns. A giant giant centipede entered our house, could be it took the path of a vine that grew into my house, I stripped the vine long time ago but the centipede must've found the same path??? Insects are smart like that!!! It's great to see Noah again! I think it's best to keep same guy on route as no need to explain same procedure or concerns. Just need to tell if new concerns or problems. (Centipede new concern, ants continuous but controlled by periodic spraying, so far so good, no roaches concern. Aloha services quarterly and that seems to be a great interval to keep the bugs away! (Might be different for others, maybe businesses are every month?). Wow! I had the best experience with Robbie, customer consultant, who came on the same day upon request to evaluate a minor bug situation that I had. He even got someone to in the late afternoon to complete the job. I had an interior pest control treatment in my kitchen and bathroom! It's important to keep my home clean and free of pests, which are often found in areas close to drains, so I will be using this wonderful company for quarterly pest prevention treatment. Personally I look more for how issues are handled and rectified versus having no issues at all! Every business will have some problems, it is unrealistic to expect perfection. With that said, i live in upper Makakilo, 2 story home and had issues with wasps/wasp nests all around under the eaves of the house. Aloha Termite and Pest Control provides good prices and more important excellent customer service. From everyone who answers the phone to the 2 guys who came out, everyone is friendly and professional. They took out about 30 nests and treated the area as promised. Unfortunately, a few nests were missed but when I called they immediately came out again, apologized for missing the few and did a really good re-check of the whole area again. Honestly, its not even surprising that a few were missed as they were hidden under the eaves, i feel like anyone would have missed a few when there are so many! But the no questions asked manner in which they handled my follow up call to let them know a few were missed is what stood out to me:) I am just really impressed with the customer service here and the tone, demeanor of everyone - I highly recommend this business:) Oh and this service was less than $400:) read more

They require you to fill out a form on their website to schedule an inspection, which is perfectly fine. The problem with the form is that it does not allow you to tab through fields and has field overlaying each other. Daniel (Ala) came to our house today for our quarterly pest control treatment. He called to ask if he could come earlier than scheduled which worked out way better for us. Ala was friendly, kind, professional, and super knowledgeable as I expressed concerns about a recent black ant issue we've been experiencing. The bi-monthly pest control works well. I used to be afraid of what I would see when I switched on my lights, mornings or nights. But I'm no longer terrorized by big roaches. SHOULD'VE, COULD'VE, WOULD'VE... What do you do when discover you have a termite or pest problem and live in a high-rise building? Surely you can't have a termite & pest control company tent the entire building or seal and "bomb" your unit without concerning your neighbors. All you're left with is to spot treat or if you're lucky enough to have the infested furniture moved and gassed in a pest control vault then you'll at least be able to save the furniture piece(s). We've had a koa wood desk in our possession for nearly 50 years as it was passed down from family but we started noticing termite droppings coming from the drawers and a few holes in the desk top several years ago prior to us moving from our home into our current condominum. But, we (shame on us) procrastinated with getting that family desk gassed. I guess that parts of the desk weren't made of solid koa (hard)wood so these softer wood parts were more tasty to these termites. Thanks to Yelp, we found Aloha Termite & Pest Control. This family-owned company had a fumigation "vault" where we took our desk to this past week. We spoke to a female (sorry I didn't get her name) who told us we needed to get our desk up to their facility in Wahiawā located on South Kamehameha Highway on specific days to allow for fumigation and air-out. They fumigate on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday and you need to get your item(s) into the vault before 2PM and pick up the following day by 10AM. She provided a quote which was reasonable to us for that heirloom desk. When we arrived, we spoke with Jamie who gave us more information about this fumigation and other pest control recommendations. We loaded our desk into what looked like an ocean cargo container and was told that they charge the fumigation process by the amount of gas needed. We left the desk overnight and returned the following morning to pick it up which allowed Aloha Termite & Pest Control time to air out our desk and others' items. As we loaded the desk back into the back of our truck, dead termites started falling out of the some of the holes. Thankfully, we only had this one item which showed termite damage and now it's termite free. We should've brought this family gift in for treatment years ago and now we're valuing the desk more. Tsk...should've, could've, would've brought our koa furniture piece(s) in sooner to prevent termite damage that potentially diminished its value. read more

I learned 2 things from this company. 1. Read the fine print - if you don't you will end up paying a lot more than you expected and end up paying off the annual contract to get out of it. 2. Just because you are paying a premium - does not mean you are getting premium service. Do not expect to get the same person servicing your house - do not expect they actually know where the bait stations are - do not expect them to even ask you if there are any issues or offer suggestions when they show up for the service. BL. I learned that I did not read the contract carefully (but who does when it shows up on your phone in tiny letters) and the premium monthly payment actually goes toward bi-monthly service by a random person who does not know your house or issues. Take heed and look elsewhere - otherwise you will be like me and stuck paying for the remainder of your 12 month contract and finding a new pest control provider. Though dollar for dollar I am actually saving money now for monthly service instead of bi-monthly service. read more

Well Unfortunately as a first time customer on Monday Oct. 7 2024 turned out to be a horrible day? I want to share a list of red flags you are to be aware of? 1. Bad communication 2. Piggy back scheduling 3. Work crew doesn't follow list 4. Very late on arrival 5. Broken items not informed 6. To dark to see if tent is secured I was excited and feeling great that I made the right decision and select Aloha termite pest control to fumigate and tent my home. First of All Aloha may have services you well. Again it turned out to be a bad day for us. My schedule time was 12:30 -2:30 pm. My home was ready to go as scheduled? An hour later I received a call at 3:21 pm from the Office informing me that the work crew is running behind schedule should be there within 30 mins. At 3:50 pm I received other call from Bryson the crew supervisor informing me his crew is running behind schedule should be there within 30 mins. Now at 4:40 pm two of this crew arrived they started to prep. At 5:00 pm Bryson the crew supervisor arrived with the tent. At 6:30 pm it was completely dark. I'm concerned now if the tent is secured ? At 7:10 pm it's really dark. They started to shoot the gas into the tent. At 7:20 pm the crew was done. From the starting time of my schedule to the time they were finished? It was a 7 hours waiting period. I believe Aloha was unprofessional, care less on their part. This should not happen to anyone.
