Before finding Agape, traveling to my necessary and often arduous medical appointments was a source of immense stress. I was frequently at the mercy of other services that were habitually late, causing a domino effect of delays and anxiety before I even arrived at my destination. The return trips were often just as trying, picking me up late in the evening when I was already exhausted. To make matters worse, these vehicles were rarely private. I would have to endure multiple stops to pick up other passengers, who were often dropped off first, showing a complete disregard for my schedule and the draining nature of my appointments. Agape Transportation has been a complete revelation. The most critical and appreciated difference is their unwavering punctuality and the promise of a private ride. Being picked up on time, every time, and knowing I am the sole passenger has lifted a significant weight off my shoulders. It allows me to head to my appointments to/from Staten Island to the city (Manhattan) with a sense of calm, which is truly priceless. My first trip with Agape set an unbelievably high standard. My driver was a beacon of light on what was set to be a very challenging day. He was not only friendly but had a fantastic sense of humor that immediately put me at ease. He played some great music, and before I knew it, we were both singing and laughing for the entire duration of the ride. He transformed a journey I was dreading into one that was genuinely enjoyable and uplifting. His kindness was so impactful that my only regret was that he wasn't my driver for the return trip home. The very next day, I had another appointment and was fortunate enough to have another outstanding driver. This gentleman was the epitome of courtesy and compassion. He was incredibly caring and sympathetic to my situation, exuding a gentle and friendly nature that was deeply comforting. We fell into an easy, wonderful conversation about everything and anything. A particularly special moment was discovering our shared love for Florida. As someone who used to live there and misses it dearly, connecting with him on that topic was a much-needed and happy distraction. He was a tremendous help to me during a difficult time. It is clear that Agape Transportation prioritizes the passenger's experience above all else. They don't just hire drivers; they employ kind, supportive, and genuinely good people who understand the importance of human connection. For anyone who has to travel for vital appointments and is tired of the stress and impersonal nature of other services, I cannot recommend Agape highly enough. As an ex dirt bike racer I assure you I know a thing or two about injuries and pain. All the drivers and employees show the customers great care. PTO is a mess too--every time I didn't feel well, it turned into a big issue, even though I always worked overtime when asked. After I quit, they didn't even direct deposit my last paycheck--they mailed it without warning. That tells you everything about how this company treats its workers.
