The worst car service, on the planet. The most inexperienced cabbies that do not know any singular shortcut that exists. They seem to be running a little stupid game that is claiming they are downstairs/outside but not around at all. You cannot even reach the actual driver just customer service idiots who don't speak any English and assume everyone understands Spanish. Everything is always 1 minute 1 minute but they arrive 20 minutes later causing you to be late taking someone to school or an appointment or to work. I had the worst experience ever today for this car service that I never ever had before. First, the driver took a wrong turn and I couldn't locate him until a few minutes later! He then blamed it on the GPS when in front of my house, the numbers can be seen from a distance. As soon as I get into the vehicle, there were cases of Polish Spring Water and a driver's seat for me to sit on! The driver then demanded payment upfront or the car wouldn't move!. I NEVER, EVER had to do this but if the base state that this is their policy, I would have gladly complied. The driver treated me like a thug or a recently released criminal as I wanted to rip him off! I probably will never use this service along with several family members, friends, colleagues and about 50 other people I have referred to them in the past!!! read more

I have taken KISS a couple times last year, but stopped because of their high prices. 3/1/24 I had to result to taking their cab, believing matters have changed, but NO. I would call two other bases quite often. Practically, every day I would travel from one destination in the Bronx to another destination still in the Bronx and the price is always $17 or $18 dollars. No more! Again, I travel from and to the same destination practically every day. KISS charged me $26 dollar. If I was not running late & if I did not leave my cell in my home, I would have gotten out of the cab. I called the base and explained my frustrations of concern. The dispatcher who answered says, the fare $26 "what do I want" in a rude manner! I asked for supervisor or complaint # . He gave me a number. I called that number and there was no answer You can give your hard earn money to these places and they can over charge you and/or be rude....Smh...WOW! Technically it was not price gouging, there was noting out of the ordinary i.e. bad weather, an emergency...etc They simply over charge ongoing...... I can't attest to how the service is when you call for a cab as I use their app, but so far I can't complain. I only pay cash and have not experienced a price hike; what the app says is the price is what I always pay. The prices are reasonable in comparison to Uber which has doubled their prices. Cabs can take about 3-5 minutes to arrive which is slightly longer than Uber, but I am willing to wait the extra 2 minutes for the money I am saving. Took one star away because I've experienced cab drivers singing along to the radio which isn't my ideal way to start the morning. Overall good service. read more

Called for a taxi dispatcher said 5 mins, 7 mins went by called back dispatcher rude said it's not his fault the driver is late, hung up the phone called back dispatcher was rude again and said 1 min still another 5 mins went back called again dispatcher still rude and never tried to find out anything still said 1 min and hung up the phone. Worst cab service and rudest dispatcher I've ever dealt with..they'll tell you 2 minutes and won't even show up

Be aware that although they do take credit cards, unlike a yellow or green cab, they are going up charge you an extra fee to use it. And even if you ask about their credit card policy they will not warn you about this fee. My already high $55 fare jumped to $60. If I had known I would have just built in time to go to the bank for cash. When you call they will just take your destination and quickly hang up as soon as they mention how long you'll have to wait. If you didn't hear it, or you have a question you will have to call back. Srsly. No follow up questions allowed w/o a 2nd call. So listen closely. Cars are usually in very good condition and drivers are generally courteous. read more

I call around 7:45, ask the dispatcher if I can get a cab at 9PM, give him an address, and he tells me to call back 5-10 before I need it. Fine. Then I call again around 8:50, he asks for an address, I give it to him, and out of no where... *click*! WHAT the f?? Not even a "Hold on" or "Let me confirm"?? Not even... "Sorry no cabs available" after being on hold for 5 minutes!! Are you serious?? Screw that BS. They're never getting my service again. They ruined a perfectly good Friday night. This car service is unprofessional. Dispatcher is rude and highly unprofessional. After calling a cab on my way to work from in front of my address, told me the cab was there and had left. First I never moved from in front of the building waiting. Second told me it's my choice if I never called again. Many people without a job, my advice... with that job to someone willing to work, your dispatcher is your face before you meet your driver. His right, I would never call again. I always call for cabs here and they are pretty accurate with timing. One time I called a cab to drive me to a $8 destination and I had a $10 bill and a $50 bill and accidently gave him $50 instead of the $10. I called them and they did absolutely everything to give me my money back! I was soo happy about the customer service that I gave the guy an additional $10 FOR BEING SO HONEST! I've been using this service for a long time. It was good in the beginning but tonight will be my last. This evening I requested a cab to my destination using the Kiss Car Service app. The driver was discriminating me and a relative of mine when we got in the cab. Usually if you're paying in cash, you pay once you have arrived to your destination. But this driver didn't drive off or anything he saw 2 young African American adults wearing all black. They sat there and said "You have to pay first in order to drive and it will be $18. I told the driver "The app shows $17 so that's what I will be paying. Why do I have to pay now if I didn't reach my destination yet?" It took him a long time to respond and his response was "it's a new policy now because people tend to get out the cab and not pay." I told him, "I took this cab service last night and no new policy was mentioned." That's when I knew he was lying, especially with body language. I sat behind the driver and he was constantly looking behind. Fast forward I gave him the money he drives to my destination, I tried to get out from behind his side but it was on childproof lock. When I got to my destination I called the company. The dispatcher picked up so I told him that I would like to file a complaint on one of the drivers. He caught an attitude, took a deep sigh, and put me on hold. 5 seconds later, the dispatcher starts talking fast and hangs up on me. The dispatcher was very rude and did not care to lead me in a direction of filing this complaint. In both situations, I was being polite until I seen how I was being treated including the lack of communication. NEVER AGAIN!!! read more

This is the worse car service ever. Everyone that works for them is shady. My friend left her wallet in the taxi so we called them to try to retrieve it. The taxi dispatchers were so rude! On top of that, they said that they couldn't do anything about it. I had the vehicle number and driver number, why can't you call the driver?!? Then we found out my friend's credit cards were used at a gas station and McDonalds, within a matter of 30 minutes!! So it's not that they couldn't retrieve the taxi driver, they probably told him to fill up his car and get something to eat! It was a terrible conclusion to a great night. I used their service to get back into the city from a day trip out to Arthur Avenue. I was a little nervous as I had not heard much about them. Initially tried Carmel and was told a car out to the Bronx around 4 pm would take another 45 minutes. I called Kiss based on a recommendation from a local merchant. The driver showed up in less than 5 minutes. The lady driver was very nice, got me back into the city promptly and the fee was not too bad! read more

I've used them for a while but won't do so again. The first cab was super late and then canceled, the second accidentally picked up another passenger. I called the cab company when the app indicated the trip started, after a 10 minute hold the dispatcher said they didn't have any more cabs. This company doesn't care about their customers and failed to apologize for the inconvenience. Luckily Uber arrived in 3 minutes - I should've called them to begin with! read more

We were in the middle of nowhere at 1 AM. We called about 10 different taxi services and none of them were willing to drive out to pick us up. We were about to start walking towards the city which is a 4 miles walk, when KISS company picked up and said a driver would be there in 3 minutes. He was there in 2 minutes and he hauled ass home.
