Oh my goodness what an incredible night!!…read more We went into their new location for my brother in laws birthday and it was the best sushi we've had in a long time. The space is so much bigger and very cozy lighting. A few of us are gluten free and I am pregnant and they were so accommodating!! We had Lynn, and she was so wonderful. I've been craving ginger and wasabi and she even sent me home with some extra. The fish was so fresh, the sushi rice was perfectly seasoned. We got the avocado roll, Volcano, Golden California, Spicy cream cheese, Inari, seared salmon, squid, octopusc chicken Karaage, Fried Gyoza, and the pork belly miso ramen. It was all incredible. My favorite was the nigiri. Very fresh. We had a couple with two kids next to us and the serve was so kind to them too!! I can't wait to come back here sometime soon

We then went to the Sherwood restaurant location; after our receipt of confirmation our online order was submitted and paid for to retrieve our order. We were simply told our order was cancelled that they did not take any online orders after 4:30 pm. No prior information had been offered to the user of their online ordering feature via their website. Additionally, a lady who arrived at the same time as us, who had placed an order for pick up via Door Dash was also told that they had cancelled her order placed. Disappointed in the lack of customer service displayed to both us as well as the customer who was in the lobby with us. Disappointed in the poor management of the company's website and socials regarding their need/decision to simply cancel to go orders without any explanation nor accommodation. Both our party and the woman previously mentioned left empty handed. Simply, we were told we would receive a reverse of any charges made. The other female customer was told to bring up the cancellation of her order with Door Dash directly. This restaurant is not new. The current location of which and where they operate from is relatively new. This restaurant is no longer worth our time and other resources. A simple explanation to what or why a refusal to fulfill our order, a simple apology for any inconvenience and or lack of communication via their website would have gone a ways. Not at all the approach the management took in this instance. We will no longer give our time, attention, or dollars to this establishment when considering restaurants in our area. Happy New Year!

The atmosphere was wonderful and you can see the owner put money into the decor to show a bit more class and design. I ordered the PP wings to start and I gotta tell you, you need to try these!! Soo good, with a nice crisp, breading and unique sauce. The Tongkatsu Ramen was really good in all aspects. I love the corn and the eggs, the pork and broth had nice flavorings. I ordered mango juice, which was a nice treat. They even served water to my table while seating me; in a tall carafe, which was a nice touch of class. Great food, good prices, very friendly service and you definitely have to try the PP wings!!

Solid Japanese inspired, noodle centric spot in Lake Oswego. Walk in for four, 30 min after opening…read moreand got a seat. Shortly filled up about an hour later. Atmosphere is very laid back. Looks like it used to be a taproom. Focus is on ramen but menu also feature other core Japanese dishes, as well as a khao soi (possibly Thai owned?) Went for classic tonkotsu ramen. Flavorful broth that was actually on the lighter side, but I was down for it. Toppings include pork belly, marinated bamboo shoots, corn, green onion, red ginger, nori (seaweed), and a perfectly boiled egg. Noodles had a good bite to them and were prepared well. Overall really solid.

A Ramen Masterclass in Beaverton! If you are looking for…read morethat perfect, soul-warming bowl of noodles, Koku Ramen & Bites in Beaverton is an absolute gem. It's located in the Timberland Town Center and manages to perfectly balance a modern, trendy vibe with authentic, traditional flavors. Here is why it's a 5-star standout for me: The Broth (The Soul of the Bowl): I ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen, and the broth was incredible--creamy, rich, and clearly simmered for hours. It has that deep, milky consistency that only comes from true craft. If you like heat, the Spicy Miso has a perfect, layered kick that doesn't just overpower your taste buds. The Noodles: They get the texture exactly right. You can choose your firmness, and they have that perfect "chew" that holds onto the broth beautifully. The "Bites": True to their name, the appetizers (bites) are not to be skipped. The Pork Gyoza are perfectly seared, but the Karaage (Japanese Fried Chicken) is the real winner--juicy on the inside and impossibly crunchy on the outside. The Chashu: The braised pork belly is melt-in-your-mouth tender. They give it a quick torch sear before serving, which adds a beautiful smoky aroma to the whole bowl. The Vibe: The restaurant is clean, sleek, and has a great energy. The staff is welcoming and incredibly fast, making it a perfect spot for a quick lunch or a cozy dinner. Pro Tip: Don't forget to add a Marinated Soft-Boiled Egg (Ajitama). They cook them to perfection here with that jammy, custard-like yolk that takes the ramen to the next level. Beaverton has a lot of food options, but Koku is easily at the top of my list for comfort food. I'll be back again and again!

My low…read morerate is due to no kids menu, and us being charged 20% gratuity for binging our kids to eat here. The waiter made it a point to say your six guests so a 20% gratuity will be added to your bill even if you and your wife are not eating. My wife and I had dinner reservations at another restaurant where kids are not allowed. 20% gratuity is high when the bill is $80+ just for 4 kids. Don't take your kids here. Better places, better prices, better environment. Waiter was Josue. (Good waiter)
