This is an awesome spot for any size group! They have bar/date night style seating options, but big tables in the back with lots of board/card game options. Their sandwiches, mac and cheese, and beers were all soooo amazing. The service was great. Fast, attentive, friendly. There's not much of anything that could make this place any better. read more

Love this spot. Little hole in the wall in old town Newberg. Great wine, brew and cider menu. Excellent music choices. I've never opened Shazam with this frequency. Great cider selection. I have serious beef with whoever decided how to serve these nachos, though. Why are you serving a big plate's worth of nachos on a 4x8 cutting board stacked 8 inches tall? What is this? I had to rotate around it strategically like I was playing jenga. We only stopped here for drinks but ended up ordering some food. I ordered some wings called "Sam's Molotov Wings." WOW!! Spicy but super flavorful and delicious. The bartender was very hospitable. 1 word... Sam! Sam is the GOAT holding it down and serving it up. This place has a living room vibe with an amazing playlist. There is a back area if you want to hang and play board games with friends, a front patio to enjoy a great weather day, and of course the inside living room. Really fun little spot! I'm so glad I finally made it over here. Love the games and welcoming culture (looking at you, rainbow flag). Decent selection of food and drinks - but the nachos were covered in way too many olives! Honestly the olives ruined it. I don't love olives but I will tolerate a reasonable amount of them, but this was way too much. It was an absolute minefield of olives. I've talked to other people about this, and olive lovers and olive haters alike agree that there are too many olives on these nachos. B&V, cut your costs, increase customer satisfaction, and cool it on the olives. read more

I enjoyed this place, but given the that the week before I had the best pretzel bites of all time at Social Goods which is located a few feet away, I can't in good coccineous give this place the same rating. The pretzel we did have seemed either slightly stale or overcooked, as parts of it were difficult to eat. The mustard and cheese were alight. We did end up getting a 1/4 size nacho. Again, it fine for what they were, but not sure what all the rave is. I think it would be fun, to return and sit in the back, play games and drink. I wished given that was not our purpose on this visit, we would have dinned up front, as when you are not one of the people there playing games, the back room gets a bit noisy. read more

A good variety of beers on tap. The music is a play list of the city in the New est of Berg. There was no way any one would expect this from the outside. The menu is simple yet covers a wide variety of bases. Sandwiches to toasted almonds. Something for everyone. Not large size meals but enough to much on and have a conversation. The Cubano was tasty. Stopped by after a day of wine tasting, needing some good local craft beer to satisfy my thirst. The tavern did not disappoint, good variety of local and state craft brews. And the sandwiches (hot Italian and ham and Brie) were spectacular, thick slices of ham and fantastic rolls. Only 2 tables outside, luckily we grabbed one. Lots of people inside, mostly a young crowd. Bartender was great, good service and very friendly. Was a nice walk from our hotel and a great way to end our day! read more
