Wow, what a new find in West Linn. Longtime Bellagios Pizza customer, but unfortunately they were closed tonight, so we ended up trying Elden's in the old Round Table space. Wow is all I can say. They are the new pizza spot in town. The buildout of the space is top notch, and the pizza was perfectly cooked and loaded with toppings. My only complaint is charging for ranch. If you order two large pizzas, I think ranch should be included and offered generously. Outside of that, they've earned my business. If you haven't tried it yet, it's a MUST. read more

I'm rating my meal, not the restaurant. I've been here twice, the restaurant was pretty empty both times but the service tends to be fine. Last I was here the food was pretty good. Today I ordered one of the worst burgers I've ever had. The toppings and the tots were great, but the meat was genuinely awful. I ordered it medium, but it came grey, spongy, and tasteless. The waitress offered to bring a new one, and it was just as bad. She took the beer off the tab to make it right which I really appreciated. Until they figure out how to make a burger that's better than the 7/11 across the street, don't order the burger. read more

They have solid food offerings and the drinks are good. I asked Mack if he could make a good Manhattan, and he did so, 100%! I had a side salad with a BLT instead of fries, that was good, but cheating my hubby out of a couple of his fries- they were great! They are a burgeoning business, give them a chance if you are local to WL- saw a lot of pizzas being served and ordered; might have try those sometime! This restaurant and bar is in my neighborhood, and it has earned a place in my rotation. It has a good bar with a nice selection of ales, as well as a full bar. The bartenders and servers are great across the board. The menu is varied with burgers, sandwiches, pasta dishes, salads, and pizza, all of which are quite tasty. Happy Hour (2-5, M-F) has its own menu and discounts in beer, wine and well drinks. Finally, the appetizer menu has goat cheese balls,, meatballs, bruschetta, and other things, in addition to the wings. While it is kind of a local joint, it is definitely worth stopping in if you are nearby. read more

Live in NE PDX but needed lunch in West Linn. Looked at Elden's menu and were hooked! I had crispy, spicy juicy buffalo wings with blue cheese dip. T had an amazing burger--said it was one of the best he's had (and he LOVES) burgers . They had a wide variety of salads, pastas and pizza (heard it was worth a trip foe that). It's a sports bar so a dozen or so TV are showing sports. LOTS of beers on tap and at least wines (2 of my favorites). Give Elden's a try. Our server was quick ), perky and just plain great. Our server Valentina was fabulous this evening which happened to be Valentine's Day. Food was great. Snickerdoodle cookie with butter brickle icecream for desert was fabulous and the lavender hibiscus lemon drop was the perfect suggestion. I commented to Valentina how much I enjoyed the pickles and the bread. I did not realize the restaurant made everything in house even my ranch dressing. Friendly staff from the minute you walk inside. Excellent food service! Helpful with the menu: accommodating & knowledgeable. Delicious food, beautifully served. The ambiance was clean but dominated by 3 large screen TV's. We were seated by one that turned out to be some kind of boxing-wrestling fight. It was too late to ask for another table without being a royal pain, so we stayed put. We will be back, however! Looking forward to another delicious meal in a friendly environment. read more

What a gem! I hosted my dad's Celebration of Life in Elden's event room. From the moment I contacted them, John was responsive and did a wonderful job helping me coordinate food and logistics for the day. The room was perfect, and our server Mac was incredibly kind and helpful. They took care of everything so I could focus on creating a wonderful event honoring my dad. During my time in West Linn, I also ate in the restaurant twice and the food was delicious and the wait staff top notch. The whole vibe of this place is warm and welcoming. My kids love the arcade games in the back and cartoons on one of the many tvs. This place doubles and a sports bar with tvs galore. The menu has something for everyone, and you can tell there's real care put into every dish. The pizza and salads are amazing. I haven't had a bad dish yet! We live close by and have loved this new addition to the neighborhood! Our fave is the Shepherd pizza, kids sliders, beet salad & cookie skillet. The staff have been very welcoming to a couple of large group bookings that I've made in the party room. We have had some issues when it's short staffed with wait times and the prices are pretty high for us to dine more regularly. I would also love to see some seasonal specials on the menu, especially the salads which get pretty repetitive. We enjoy coming here for special occasions! read more

We were there for lunch. I was disappointed with the salad selection. I got the green salad. Nothing but spring mix. No romaine no iceberg and only a few tomato slices and boxed croutons. For such a small salad entree selection I expected more for 18.00. Server was nice but said he had only worked there 3 days and didn't know. Third visit - had to gauge the consistency before making a review. I regret to say that this place is excellent. By that, I mean I would rather keep it to my greedy self. My family finally made it in since they recently opened. We loved our pizza and wings. Staff was super friendly. There was a kids baseball group in one of the more private areas. We love to see that and look forward to hosting one of our kiddos teams there at some point. The place is big with a few video games. Overall we really enjoyed it. We had dinner tonight at Elden's for the first time. It was fantastic! Tons of parking, great seating options and the owner came by several times to make sure we were doing ok. I'm gluten intolerant and was not disappointed. The online menu showed gluten free pasta and pizza. What it didn't say was they also had gf bread for sandwiches from bread they make themselves! They also make their own pasta. And to top it all off, the food was great. We had the Caesar salad and a gf pizza but I can't wait to go back so we can try the pasta or a sandwich. Had a late lunch here today. Wonderful pizza options for any taste and diet. A Vegan in our party was thrilled to have a garden pizza with homemade vegan cheese. All dough is homemade daily, too. Another in our party had the Caprese pizza that was fabulous. Also had the best sweet potato fries with a West Linn melt.sandwich, The Friendly, attentive staff kept our drinks refilled and delivered smiles along with the great food. My Husband and I went to a fantastic, somewhat new, restaurant in West Linn on Tuesday night, "Elden's Restaurant & Bar." The waitress was very patient and helpful and checked on us several times. The restaurant was clean and remodeled nicely, with good music playing not too loudly. I ordered a chicken/bacon/avacado club-type sandwich with fries, and my Husband had their pepperoni pizza. My club sandwich was perfect! The bacon was cooked just right, the chicken breast was tender and juicy, & I ate every single delicious fry. My Husband liked the pepperoni pizza even better than Roundtable's pizza which we used to get a lot of throughout the years. I'm thinking the next large pizza we order will be from Elden's (located where Roundtable Pizza used to be in the Robinwood Shopping Center). Also, the prices were reasonable.
