Came here from a Groupon (super cheap!) and got x rays and a basic cleaning. It was pretty quick and the doctor himself cleaned my teeth. I was recommended to buy a mouth guard for teeth grinding, but when I declined I wasn't pressured into buying it. Overall from front desk to the back office , they were all professional, and friendly at the same time , I had a great experience with Dr. Gor, he did a great job him snd his assistant. I went here to get a cleaning and a new bite guard a few years back. The cleaning was fine but the bite guard didn't fit right. I went back two more times to get it readjusted but despite the dentist's attempts to fix it, it never fit right and I could not use it. After trying a few times the doctor said there is nothing I can do to readjust it. I was charged full price (over $500) for a bite guard that did not work. Go here at your own risk. read more

The staff is very nice.The receptionist even tried a couple times to squeeze my husband and I in before our scheduled appointment that I was unsure we would be able to keep.. We were able to keep our appointment and I was very pleased with the service from beginning to end. As I have gotten older I am way more tense in the dentist chair and I was surprised at how UN-tense I was through the whole Xray &cleaning process.The only weird thing was the bathroom is outside the office, but that could just be me. Second review: I took my 3 year old son to see Dr Kvitko for his first dental exam. I was a little nervous because it's not a kid specific dentist and it would be my sons first time. They do have a big TV in front of the chair, which is a great distraction.. but as a mom who really does not like going to the dentist I was a little worried that he may come out with anxieties for future visits. Well, I was worried for nothing! The assistant and Dr Kvitko did just what my son needed to have a perfectly comfortable check up and he had a great experience. The doctor treated the exam like is was no big deal and my son followed suit. He even wants to floss his teeth upon occassion:) Alpha made me a very proud and relieved mommy. read more

Best dentist and prices in LA hands down - my wife went to three dentists in Los Angeles - all misdiagnosed her and tried to create expensive problems in her mouth that we were wary of. I found them thru Living Social - a deal for simple cleaning. After X-ray, they told me a simple cleaning wouldn't be enough - I needed a deep cleaning (which I kinda knew about it) and the price was really good and they kept my LS deal for the next time when for sure a light cleaning will be enough. read more

I wish there were black holes. . . (that's what happens when a star implodes- right? Cause Alpha Dental Group deserves 5 negative stars). They told me that I had 6 cavities, and needed two porcelain veneers, for a total of $2700 worth of work. And that I needed it IMMEDIATELY. They knew that I didn't have insurance, and was poor, but stressed the importance of making this happen. I received this examination durring a teeth cleaning, I had purchased off of Groupon. I went and got a second opinion two weeks later. It was at a prestigious dentists office at UCLA Medical Center that came highly recommended. This UCLA dentist examined my x-rays, then my mouth, and then spent a moment looking at me with a sad smile. I asked what was the matter. He said "You don't have any cavities." I said, "Impossible. Dr. Kvitko at Alpha Dental told me I had 6." This UCLA Medical Center dentist shakes his head and says, "No, you don't have any cavities. What you DO have though- is a lot of plaque. Either they gave you an exceptionally poor teeth cleaning two weeks ago, or you've been smoking 20 packs of cigarettes every day since then." I don't smoke. So I asked "What about the porcelain veneers. Dr. Kvitko told me it was very important I get them, cause of nerve damage on one tooth." The UCLA Medical Center Dentists reply: "You experience trauma to that tooth when you were 6 years old. Now you are 28. In 22 years it has become only very slightly discolored. You have decades until it becomes anything more than that. In the meantime though- I would recommend a teeth bleaching. Porcelain veneers are NOT necessary for you." Please pass on the word. I was almost completely scammed. I don't want anyone else to make the same mistake that I almost did. read more

Absolutely Fantastic Dentist. Having really bad teeth I decided it was time to get them fixed.... 8 crowns were done in 4 visits, painless, comfort, he spoke to me nicely, kept me informed, and ensured that I had no after pain. I am really so very happy. The crowns are a good fit, cosmetically appealing and they just feel great. Ive been too many dentist but the Alpha team is the BEST. The dentist I had been going to did a thorough job but was very rough, plus he was about a 30 minute drive from home. We found Dr. K via word of "mouth" (pun intended), and I must say I can't be more pleased with him and his staff. He uses a water jet for cleaning which does a great job, but he'll bust out the ol' pick if necessary. Since going to him, and following his oral care recommendations, me and my wife's dental hygiene have improved greatly. I would attribute that mostly to his recommendation of getting the Sonicare toothbrush, which I would never go without. The office is clean and well-furnished. Each room has an HDTV so you can control what you like to watch. They also use digital x-rays which he then displays on the large screen TV. The front-office staff is great about follow-ups and appointments are very easy to make. If you need a new dentist, GO TO DR. K! read more

They ask questions to get to know you. -My teeth cleaning was thorough(lasted about 35 minutes) -They didn't make anything up that was wrong w. my teeth like other dentists do -You can confirm your appointment via text and you get a text reminder that day -You get a pack of goodies when you leave -Office and rooms are clean and organized -They did a great job with cleaning my teeth! I want to mention that I am sure that the service is just fine here, but I had an experience that I think deserves description. I purchased a Groupon deal from this business for my husband who was visiting from out of the country. I called before purchasing to ensure that they would be able to fit him in on a day and time before he left. He arrived at his appointment on time and was not greeted for 10 minutes by ANYONE. He actually called me thinking he was in the wrong place. After 10 minutes someone came out and said that he would just need to wait a bit. 45 MINUTES is not a bit. He ended up calling for someone to come and assist him and she said they were doing a surgery and that he may have to wait up to another hour. Common courtesy would be to call ahead and let us know that this happened and that he should come in at the new time. He, of course, was not willing to wait the extra time. Although we did receive our money back from Groupon, it was a tremendously aggravating experience. The two stars is only because the woman on the phone when I originally called was pleasant. We won't be back (and can't be back now that he is traveling overseas without a teeth cleaning). read more

5 Stars It is very hard to find a good dentist and Dr. K is one. His staff is super friendly and accommodating. Dr. K is honest (big plus) and not looking get you to do any erroneous work done. They are extremely thoughtful when it comes to financial situation and Dr. K is very worried about your health and well being. The practice is very clean and never packed with patients- instead patients are reasonably scheduled to allow for each patient to have time to ask questions and get thought out answers. Parking kind of sucks - but I drive over 30 miles from my home and 45 miles from work for good dentistry. So, you got to believe it is worth it. read more

I found Dr. Kvitko through my insurance after a very disappointing visit to another dental office where I was told I would need to spend a RIDICULOUS amount of money on 1 tooth. And yes, I know, it was a major procedure, but still, if I have to pay this much for every one of my 32 teeth I would go broke before I turn 30... Anyways, Dr. Kvitko's office is super clean and there's no line of people that you have to wait in. He wouldn't come up with some random diagnosis just to overcharge your insurance and you feel like he really cares about you and your experience. The staff is very friendly and nice too. Their equipment is all new and modern, there are HD TV's that you can watch while sitting in the chair. Oh, and another great plus is that they are open on Saturdays. Overall, this is a great office and a great doctor that I'm happy I found and I would certainly recommend it to my friends and family. read more

First of all I don't like dentists or dental offices. I walked to this office with hesitation. You're greeted by the amazing, sweet & wonderful Anna. She is so friendly. Every time I went to the office, there wasn't a wait time, like when you normally go to doctors and they make you wait. The waiting room is beautiful and clean. I had to have major work done, and Anna worked with me on a payment plan. Everyone in this office is so friendly. The doctor is so kind, understanding and funny. He helps you feel comfortable & relaxed. He takes the time to explain everything he's doing and answers any questions you have. Each room has a large TV and you can watch whatever you want while work is being done. Love this place and everyone there. I would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone. I just got back from my first dental appointment with Alpha Dental Group and I could not be happier! I was feeling really nervous about seeing a new dentist because ever since I moved away from home four years ago I haven't been able to find a dentist who I liked. That is, until today!! Alpha Dental Group is my new favorite dentist! First off, I was greeted by Anna who is extremely friendly, and answered all of my questions. Then I met Cherisse who was so amazing! She was extremely friendly and made me feel so welcome! In fact, I felt like I had found a long-lost friend! She did such a great job with taking my x-rays and with my teeth cleaning. She very kindly reminded me that I needed to make sure to floss. I had so much fun with her - we laughed about everything! Probably the most I have ever laughed in a dentist's office without the laughing gas! Haha! Then the doctor came in and was also very welcoming and kind. He also reminded me that I need to floss more (probably more info than many of you cared to know, but hey, I'm being thorough in my review), and was very detailed and thorough about my dental needs. He wasn't pushy about anything, and was just very supportive of my dental health. I am so grateful to have found this place through Groupon! My last dentist was not very good, and was overpriced. I'm so excited to continue seeing everyone at Alpha Dental Group, and even booked another appointment for next week to get my mouth guard checked! Such a great dentist!!! My daughter had a bad experience at a previous dentist and was afraid to come. They explained everything to her and she sat through the whole exam and cleaning. I needed a deep cleaning and had it done today. They gave me a blanket to keep me cozy and the dentist was ever so cheerful and made sure to ask on several occasions if I was ok and if I needed anything. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this dentist. First off this place is unlike any other dentist office I've been to. Large HD tv's with Netflix!! Pretty cool. The customer service is above and beyond, but I mainly write this review for a dental assistant named Charisse, she was very knowledgeable about my situation and gave me a lot of insight on how to correct my issue. And even tho a slight sales pitch was offered it was not over board and I could feel a true sense of her believing in what she was telling me which is very important. I can't give Dr. Kivtko and his staff enough praise. I called them this morning (Saturday) after waking up with horrible pain in my wisdom teeth. They were so wonderful and accommodating and got me in right away. After filling out my new patient paperwork they took me right back for x-rays. The rooms were clean and equipped with big screen TVs, which I have to admit did help in distracting me from my pain. The dental hygienist was also very nice, she was very accommodating with the x-rays especially since I was in so much pain. Dr. Kivtko was wonderful as well, he explained what was going on with my impacted wisdom tooth and referred me to an oral surgeon. he staff was so friendly and helpful, the receptionist called many surgeons for me to try to find one open on a Saturday.
