We had them ad blocks to make our fence higher. The job took longer than they told me and they had no regards to leaving a mess. They left my cement around my pool stained with colored cement used on the wall and after calling and telling them twice I never got a call back or anything. Had to have the lifetime warranty work done on my fence. Instead of replacing the broken part of the fence they put screws in the bottom rail. If I hadn't had landscaping work done I would never had known. Sent the owner pictures ofd the work and he said that is how he told them to repair the fence. read more

Overall we had a good experience with this company, the owner is short and to the point which can be a pro/con and the receptionist is as well. The fence looks awesome the only issue I had was the lack of communication with a few things, they came and put our fence with no gate and just left without explaining the gate process. Alpha Fence installed one single and one double vinyl gate plus 25 feet of fencing for us last fall. Our new gates and fencing have added to the attractiveness and privacy of our home and we've been very pleased. Last week, however, we noticed that the double gate wasn't closing well. When a car ran into our fenceline and car, they came out gave us a quote, took our insurance and gave us an upgrade. The driver took out everything and our car too! They were quick efficient and great quality. They were so good that we rehired them a couple years later to do the other side of our house. Would recommend them 100% to anyone who asked. read more

Do not use this company. Their warranty is a joke! Roger installed our fence in August 2016. In March 2020, one end of the fence opened up. I contacted the company since they have a 5 year warranty for their products and services. Roger and Aline had me dig the fence panel to the bottom rail and send them pictures (which I did). No one showed up to repair. Subsequently due to covid-19, I was given an appointment by Aline on June 9. Again, no one showed up on that date and for many subsequent promised appointments. After nearly 20 calls and texts, the repair was never performed. Frustrated, last weekend my neighbor and I got together and managed to put together most of the panel. Alpha Fence Company quickly scheduled an appointment for patio cover installation in September 2020 then we heard nothing for months. Numerous supply delays and then phone calls and emails all went unanswered. The patio cover was never installed in over a year. Initially, we would have been happy to work with this company and understood the supply issues but the lack of customer service or any response to phone calls and emails for over a year we wouldn't recommend them. read more

I got an estimate from Alpha Fence after numerous laborious attempts to get one from other companies which were ignored (i.e Superior Fence). After my attempts were rudely and callously ignored, I called the manufacturer directly to obtain contact info for businesses who installed my particular type of vinyl fence. They referred me to Alpha Fence. I could not have been happier with the level of customer service they provided! Aline in the main office was friendly, courteous, responsive, and understanding regarding my fence needs. Roger came out as scheduled, and on time and discussed specifications. He too was friendly and easy to talk to. Also, due to some unfortunately ridiculous confusion/miscommunication with our neighbor, he had to come out twice to ensure they got the measurements right. He did that no problem. I think it comes down to the fact that they seem to know their business well and are confident about what they can provide. I would only offer one bit of advice, and that is to make sure they communicate in advance of any supply drop offs. Other than that I just got my fence installed and I am extremely happy with it! 4/26/16: Roger- Thank you for your reply to my post. As I do appreciate the time and effort for the estimate, my concern is that I am seeing in several Yelp posts this has happened on several occasions, which is a pattern for concern. When people spend the kind of money they spend to install fencing, they are going to expect excellent customer service and follow-through. Update on review: Roger called at 12:45pm claiming there was a scheduling mistake and he had the appt scheduled from 1:00pm-2:00pm. I reminded him that I originally requested the appt for between 8-9am, but he said 11am was the earliest he could do in a Saturday, so 11am was originally agreed upon. Also provided a very minimum price adjustment due to the miscommunication. Will receive estimate on Monday. Office also called asking if I would change my review now that he was there for Che appt. As I understand mistakes do happen, if I am about to spent a several thousand dollars on a project, I expect nothing but excellent customer service in return. We aren't talking a couple hundred, we're talking several thousand. Big difference to me when it comes to this type of project. read more

I shopped around with different fence companies before deciding on Alpha Fence Company. Out of the 3 quotes I received, Roger's quote was the cheapest. I decided to have them do one side of my property before agreeing to do the other side. There were some scheduling miscommunications, but the overall work was very satisfactory. They ended up doing the other side of my house. Alpha Fence Company also went out of their way to pick up payment on a day that was convenient for me. I do not recommend. They gave an estimate and then kept putting off install. They would say they're coming and then not show up. Then fence showed up with wrong color and we waited yet again. We had been broken into and chose them because they could get work done quickly, and then they didn't. This company killed my grass. They cut my sprinkler valve wires and didn't tell me. A week after the fence had been installed I noticed my grass was dying. They left a pallet of concrete on my in my front yard for a couple days while they were working and instead of asking me to turn off my sprinklers they just cut the wires. What the hell I can't even believe this. I called the office and asked for some compensation or a explanation of how this could happen. The lady who answered the phone asked me how do I know for sure it was them who cut the wires. She said she would talk to some people and get back to me. This company is unethical, crooked, shady, etc. Let's start with how the owner conducts business. He drops off his employees at the job site and the employees don't speak English and I don't speak Spanish so there's no communicating with them. Invoice states the City of Chino permit fee is $450. After his employees have finished installing the fence, I received a nasty email from the City of Chino stating to stop the work because no permit was pulled!!!! I called the city myself and was informed no application for the permit was completed and the permit fee is only $63.51. So he probably never pulls a permit and over charges for it !!!! We had Alpha fencing out over the weekend to give us a quote on installing a gate in the front of our property. The guy came out, was nice but had no pictures or anything to show us as an example. He said hed send them Monday, here we are on wednesday with zero pictures or examples to look at. They sent us the quote, a quote to which we have ZERO pictures or examples of. The guy said they were trying to figure out what picture to send to us. Makes no sense. Anyway very disappointing when these companies come out and waste your time, then never follow through like they say they will. Update to previous review: there seemed to be some communication issues. According to the office and Roger they left me messages, however I did not receive them. Long story short, we decided to go with Roger and they ended up showing when he said they would. Clean up took an extra day, which was fine since it happened to be raining that day anyways and the neighbors were getting their work done as well. It's understandable that the crew would only want to make one dump trip. Our fence turned out very nice and the crew was very courteous and professional. We even got an estimate on a patio cover, but are still shopping around. Other than some communication glitches at first, the work was quite satisfactory. We wanted to give Roger the business, even though he was late to the estimate. He made up for it by emailing our estimates that very evening, but when we made our decision to move forward, we never heard back from him. I called, texted, and emailed and all I got was an email reply saying that they would let us know when they were available. Very professional...came for an estimate the same day I called and emailed me the quote within 30 minutes of his visit. All other companies were weeks out for estimates and materials. We replaced a 20+ year old wooden fence with vinyl and received several competitive quotes. Alpha was in the middle with pricing but he assured us his crew could install in the timeline we needed....and they did just that!
