Coach: Kelly is really great about connecting with her rowers and you can tell she knows them and takes time to speak with them before and after class. Also good about giving shoutouts to those in her class. She's been teaching rowing since 2019! Location: right off the water and next to exchange place station. A really cute area in Jersey City I hadn't been to before! Workout: I should mention I coach at a different location in California, so the format is very familiar to me, but every coach has their own flare and Coach Kelly had a great balance of encouraging push to power and then paddling enough to work hard again. Among all the places I go on a regular basis, Row House was the only one that called me to check in. Not to upsell me but to really check in. I asked if there was a less rigourous class than Signature which I have been taking every Friday evening for months. I was recommended Restore on Sundays which includes yoga. I am a HUGE fan now and found more classes!

Planet fitness should have more respect with the members that pay their membership. The gym is crowded even during off hours by teens who talk and use their phones more than they work out.

Never mind the free summer for teenagers. Planet Fitness doesn't care about paying members. Gym is crowded enough and they took out the whole row of treadmills. Less machines all over. Then allow people to hangout on machines like a social club. Bathrooms are like High School Hangouts.

This decision was tough because of what this community and each of you have meant to me, both inside and outside the gym. When I first walked through those doors, I never imagined how much of an impact this place would have on my life. It wasn't just about fitness goals or hitting new personal bests. You've all played a role in shaping my journey beyond the physical challenges helping me become stronger, more resilient, and more confident, which has translated into so many milestones and achievements in my personal and professional life. Each class pushed me not only to be better physically, but also to tap into parts of myself I didn't know existed. Whether it was those mornings where I needed extra motivation or the days I was on fire, you were all there with encouragement, energy, and sometimes the exact words I needed to hear. The skills and strength I've gained here have given me countless memories whether it was achieving a fitness goal I thought was beyond my reach or simply the joy of sweating it out with an amazing community. The receptionist took my health insurance code and all my information. After entering it into their computer system, she informed me that she believed there was an error in my insurance code and that they couldn't register me. I then contacted my insurance company, and they told me that this gym had already registered me as a member and was now collecting my premiums. I don't know why this employee misled me and falsely claimed that my insurance code was incorrect and that I wasn't eligible for coverage.

Bonnie spoke in an audible tone, easy for everyone in the class to hear her. We were a decent group of people in terms of quantity; we were 7 people taking the class. The class was fun and informative. It was also a challenge as my first ever Pilates class experience. I enjoyed the class and learning about Pilates and the terms spoken. As a first timer, I didn't know any of the terminology used in Pilates. I was always curious about trying Pilates and I finally decided to give it a try. Pilates introductory class was well conducted. I would recommend club Pilates for anyone who is interested in learning about Pilates and starting a Pilates journey. 10/10 recommendation.

But post the intro class the attention on posture etc mostly went away. There was maybe 1 instructor that was truly interested in helping. It's such big classes that and they move at their own fast pace and do not encourage you to ask questions. Some teachers are actually rude. The worst of All was the customer service. I Have never had such bad customer experience. If you were to miss a class due to a medical emergency forget about it. They don't ever take that into consideration and have zero empathy (even if you volunteer to show docs note). Not only that they charge you extra for missing that class. Their app does not work. Sometimes it sends a class reminder and sometimes it does not. If you book your classes at the beginning of the month you are in for a surprise as you may not get any reminder about the class. It definitely felt like a scam at the end of the day and I did not enjoy Pilates at all.

I really enjoy working out here - the exercises are challenging, the instructors are incredibly…read moreattentive and motivating, and it's a good value in terms of energy/time. However, I've been to other F45 locations where they provide stretching afterwards, which is critical when you're doing high intensity workouts. Here, the classes are so tight that the stretching is entirely skipped and up to user's choice. To me, that's a critical deficiency, and it always worries me when fitness classes do not at least provide 3 minutes of instructor-based stretching afterwards. That's especially disappointing here where there really isn't any room to stretch on your own once the next class starts (which is usually immediately after yours ends). I'd strongly encourage the facility to change that practice for the safety of its clients.
