This is my second time using this company. They are absolutely stellar! The first move was moving furniture from upstairs to downstairs in Austin. This time, the move was furniture, a ton of boxes, and other heavy goods from Austin to San Antonio. Everything went perfectly! Edgar was patient when I needed to change the dates a few times. They arrived on time. His crew went up and down the stairs for hours and loaded everything carefully. Everybody was extremely polite, and respectful. The price was reasonable. This is the second time I've used Alpha Moving (after a phenomenal first experience) and they were fantastic once again. They showed up promptly, had the best rate, and were incredibly efficient and polite. We needed help loading our UHaul and they packed and wrapped all of our furniture and loaded up the UHaul quickly and did a great job. They responded really quickly to my inquiry and had probably the best rates I could find in town. Day of move they arrived right on time and moved very quickly! I will say, I did expect a larger vehicle, but not sure if maybe I indicated the volume of packing materials/rooms incorrectly and showed up with a smaller moving vehicle than expected - but thankfully it ended up working out and fit all of our stuff. The best part was the customer service. My moving company had several mishaps (naturally) since we were relocating from out of state, which caused a HUGE headache in scheduling. If it weren't for Edgar and his willingness to adapt and be flexible, I don't know what I would have done. I had to cancel appointments with him several times when my moving company kept changing things up on me. This has been the best set of movers I have ever had!! They gave me an exact time of arrival +/- 30 minutes, they arrived on time and all strong enough to move everything without assistance. They took care of everything and I had complete confidence in them. 100% recommend I have used four different moving companies over the past year one for load, one for unload (using my own truck). This time I had to wait two weeks while my home finished construction. The last crew gave me a four hour window and they were still 30 minutes behind. They arrived eight any packing materials and smaller than me. I'm very capable of moving most things on my own, but for large items I need assistance. My last crew one held the door and the other two switched off helping me. It was a nightmare. They also moved very slow to try to get to the next hour as most do. Alpha moving did none of this they worked effectively, on their own, did the job right, respected my requested. Honey loved them and charged me by the minute instead of hour. So the job took 1.5 hours and I got charged that instead of two hours. read more

Alpha Movers arrived on time and did an excellent job both loading and unloading our furniture. We had done all the packing ourselves and a very tiny part from the desk fell off in the truck. Edgar and Carlos helped me with my move for my 1 bedroom apartment across town. Edgar was responsive via text and kept me well informed on my scheduled time. They were extremely punctual, arriving exactly at the time they said they would. They were both friendly and worked extremely hard on one of the most humid days of the year to get my move done as quickly and carefully as possible. My things were handled gently and nothing was damaged because of the extra care and effort they put in to protecting my things. They even removed their shoes (without me asking) each time they entered my new apartment as there was brand new carpet near the entry way and it was muddy outside due to rain. I couldn't recommend these movers enough. Very respectful and wonderful people. They're also very affordable in my opinion! I appreciated the variety of payment methods as well, since I don't generally carry cash or check.
