It's been since (Covid) 2020 that I let my natural color grow out, I have a white streak of gray right in the front and it makes life interesting. I was hesitant to get it colored because I do love my grays but a girl might need a change. (Ugh, decisions, decisions) I texted Fernanda the day before about being torn between color or no color. I walked in around 1pm the next day, was quickly greeted by Fernanda and we chatted about my color. She told me she would prefer not to add highlights only because I'd go back to having to get it retouched every 6-8 weeks and because she loves the way my grays look. I was kinda relieved she told me cause we opted NOT to color it, that might change later on in the year but for now, I left it as is. Grateful she was interested in the care to my hair and not just out to make $. Which is why I keep going back, Fernanda cares about making sure I was happy with my decision. I received so many compliments at the event ~ the color is incredibly vibrant, and my hair is still shining post-wash. From the moment I stepped into Chop Salon, the service was absolutely wonderful ~ check in/out was a breeze, and even during wait times for color to process, there were ample snack/drinks to munch/sip on. Whether you're looking to get a new hair cut, color or even scalp treatments, she'll hook you up. Before seeing Adriana, I never invested in hair cuts, color or products because I always felt it was too expensive. BUT I soon realized that you end up saving much more money. I was able to wear my haircut for six months because my hair grew out so beautifully after she cut it. I didn't need to go back for a trim because my hair grew out so nicely without becoming heavy. The same goes with color! I see Adriana every 8 weeks or so for toning because I have colored hair with highlights. My hair never turns brassy or fades. I've also started using the hair products that she recommends. I always used to use dove or Pantene, but it was so damaging. Ive invested in good quality products that she recommends and it has lasted nearly a year because you don't need to use much product and you don't need to wash your hair everyday. Investing in your hair can be pricy but Adriana's prices are VERY reasonable considering the amazing quality, consistency and longevity. In addition to regular hair cuts and colors, I've included scalp treatments. These have really changed my life and I'm so glad Adriana introduced them to me. I suffer from a dry scalp and dandruff. Especially during the colder months. Thankfully these scalp treatments offer me so much relief. She'll brush out all the dry skin and buildup in your hair and leave you with a healthy scalp. I've developed such a great relationship with Adriana. She's not just my hair stylist but a great friend. She is so knowledgeable and is constantly working to perfect her craft. I give her full control and liberty to do whatever with my hair because she truly knows what's best for me based on my lifestyle, face/head shape and hair type. She really takes her time with all the work she does. I end up spending hours with her because she is always so meticulous and careful with her work. You won't be getting a 10 minute hair cut here! She asks you questions, gets to know you and tries to produce something that is individualized for you. She's also great to talk to but also cool with just being quiet and letting you relax. I highly encourage you to invest in your hair and give it a go with Adriana! :)
