Tech and Nursing needs more organizing. Some nurses know what is happening while others are stepping in, perhaps for the day, and are unsure what has been documented and not. Techs have good intentions, however communication and consistency is lacking. Odds are this is due to those who oversee the departments providing lack of funding. Overall a wonderful place to start recovery.

It's unfortunate that humility is a great message that is taught there but they don't even show it as an establishment themselves..

She was discharged that evening. Thankfully, I was guarded by several patients and a few staff. Soon after, all the staff dispersed and while still guarded the patient came back! Fortunately, she was only verbally assaulting me and didn't try attacking me again. After she had left the facility I was checked on by staff and assured she had been removed and I was in no way at fault. My case manager had come to check on me, who should have been home by 1030 pm. The next day i was told I was being discharged due to "antagonizing" the patient. I have MANY witnesses who strongly disagree. After being told of the unwarranted discharge, where I was unprotected, Renee, who is in charge of ?? tried to upsell their IOP program! They called my family to let them know, packed my belongings immediately, which I could not access including my phone, and while on their house phone frantically trying to get a ride, I was told I had met my 5 minute phone time elimit. I was extremely vulnerable due to my years of addiction and alcoholism, and in shock that they would do this to a patient under their care! Needless to say, I went out w many choice words. If you need help w addiction and you love your family STAY FAR AWAY FROM HERE.

Subsequently, we found our she had fairly advanced terminal cancer. The level of care and kindness shown by the entire staff (thanks, Kelly, Nedra, Michael) really touched our hearts. It's not the fanciest place I've seen, but the kindness, love and level of care mean that your loved one will be well taken care of. Our mom ended up in hospice, and eventually passed away in January, 2020. Throughout her suffering and our grief, the staff was kind, supportive and always helpful. They took most excellent care of her, both physically and emotionally. Thanks to all of you.

In fact my second stay in 2024 was just as great as the 2023! In late April of 2024 I stood up from my bed and I literally felt a huge POP in my lower spine, and the pain was horrible! I finally got an appointment with my Neurologist and while he knew what had happened, and my report to him was correct! So back to the the 2024 the surgeon to schedule the reason to go to Lynnwood Post Acute Rehab Center after the surgery! After several days in the hospital the Social Worker came In to my room to give me three choices as to where I should go. I interrupted her and told her that I knew exactly where I wanted to go and that was Lynnwood Post Acute Rehab Center! Thankfully there was only one room available but they held it knowing that I was getting there in the next couple of days! My mother was diagnosed with a very rare bacterial infection. She had surgery that removed most of…read moreher heel bone to eradicate the infection. Her post op care required a wound vac and a facility that was equipped to change it out every 3 days. This facility came up as qualified for this specific care. They approved the care order. After being there for a week, my mother's wound vac hadn't been changed and when I called to find out what was going on , I was told Benito was the only one trained to switch it out and he didn't work weekends. Left early for an "emergency" This was a Friday night. It should have already been switched out by this point I called and made a fuss. This care is the difference between keeping or losing her leg. Benito came back in on his day off to do the required care we paid for. When he went to change the vac out he ripped the bandage off my mother's open wound and caused tremendous pain. So much so my mom too afraid to let the staff know when she was having any discomfort. After that incident they were cold and distant with her and rude with me when I visited. She came home before she was ready because we were both concerned about elderly abuse. I would like to think anyone in this profession would treat people the way they would want their parents to be treated. Amazingly after this incident , they had another nurse do wound vac changes. Today we received a $3000 bill after being told her stay was covered by insurance. No itemized charges. Just 3/1 and cost of service. From the facility.

He did not even bother to give his name until I asked. There was no warmth, no effort to connect, and no sign that he had any real interest in the patient in front of him. At times, he simply disappeared, leaving me without supervision. I also brought exercises from my physician, as recommended by my chiropractor. He flipped through them with complete indifference and offered no useful comment at all. I have been a patient at Kaufman since 2012, and I hold the doctors, billing staff, and front office in very high regard. They have earned my respect over the years. This review is about one rehab experience only and should not be taken as a reflection of the rest of the practice. As for this therapist, he seems better suited to selling athletic shoes than working with patients.

They say the proof is in the pudding, and I can't say enough about the progress I am seeing in myself! I can walk up 2 flights of stairs, now without gasping for air at the top. Even though I am here for my lungs, with guidance and encouragement from staff,, my whole body is getting stronger; I have more range of motion in my neck; my endurance is improving; my balance is better; and even my arthritic knees are much improved! When my rehab time is up. I will be signing up for the monthly maintenence program, so I won't lose what I have achieved. I felt my lungs were deteriorating, breathing became more difficult. I talked to my doctor and she suggested to visit NW Therapy Center. I did and they explained to me that it wasn't my lungs that were deteriorating but the strength of my core muscles were weak. After 12 weeks in their program I am glad to say that I can do things now that I could not do previously. Breathing is much improved and I feel like a new man. From the moment he arrived, the staff made him feel welcome and cared for. The facility, itself, is a little on the older side, but the attention and kindness Dad received more than made up for it. The staff worked diligently on his strength and balance, and were equally attentive to making sure he was well-fed, comfortable, and never lacking for anything he needed. Every single person we encountered was warm, encouraging, and genuinely helpful. My dad's been in other rehab facilities before, but they were far from home & made regular visits quite a hardship for our family. Having a place of this caliber so close to us has meant everything. We're deeply grateful for the care he received, and if he ever needs this level of support again, we wouldn't hesitate to bring him back. Hopefully that day never comes -- but it's a real comfort knowing it's there if it does.
