So my child fell asleep before lunch, so I picked up lunch, and parked in a parking lot so my child could nap. I turned off the car and just rolled down the windows. When it was time to go, my engine wouldn't start. It was the second time needing a jump within 2 weeks. I requested roadside assistance through my insurance. It hadn't even been 5 minutes, and Jimmel showed up! He asked me what I needed and what happened. He was surprised that the only thing I did after turning off the engine was rolling down the windows. He asked me how long it's been since I changed my battery. I was under the impression that we had replaced it within the year. But he found a sticker on our battery saying it was last replaced April 2018! He said he had a replacement battery in stock and could replace our battery on the spot. The pricing was reasonable, and I was tired of needing a jump. I said, let's just get it done! He was a life-saver. It also included a 3-year warranty on the battery. Jimmel was quick yet thorough. He even added a screw on a part next to the battery to make sure it didn't fall off. He got it all done in time for when I had to pick up my other child from school! I'm currently visiting from Chicago and unluckily drove through a construction site which resulted in a nail puncturing one of my tires. We got a flat last night and he came all the way out to South Austin to switch it out the next morning! He found a screw in the tire and gave us two options: we could patch it or he could take the tire to the nearest shop for us and get a replacement. He made the process so painless and easy--it's wild to think what a source of stress it was just the night before. And everything was fairly priced! I also mentioned that I'd need to switch out my spark plugs soon and, even though Alpha Roadside Services doesn't work on that in particular, Jimmel made sure I had a mechanic's number who could help me out!
