(All this through very narrow streets without damaging any cars parked on street.) Our tower (Ballard) was very skilled in getting our car on and off the truck and very courteous throughout. Even more frustrating was that the officer who stopped to "help" him and the tow truck driver acted like they were doing my son a favor by calling and providing a tow truck for him instead of allowing him to call one himself. He wasn't in a wreck, truck just wouldn't start. He asked what it cost and was told "if you have insurance then you don't have to worry about it". Then, after presenting it as "help," they hit him with contracted rotation pricing, charging over $300 just to hook up his pickup and move it into the parking lot next door. I understand rotation pricing in an emergency or urgent situation, but this was completely taking advantage of a young kid. The entire experience with them was unprofessional and disappointing from start to finish. I would not recommend doing business with this company.

My husband and I have been customers of Juke with our two vehicles for typical maintenance and…read morethey've always been reliable, so when my brakes suddenly went out on my Jeep, I went to Juke for help. It was easy to make the appointment to have the Jeep towed in and they got back to me by the end of the day with the diagnostic. My brake line had blown out and they were going to replace it. The next day they called to tell me there were no brake lines available for my Jeep anywhere with MOPAR, or any other manufacturer. People in my situation are all waiting months for these things on back order. Most shops would have probably told me to come tow this Jeep out of their way until a brake line was available. Not Juke! They thought outside the box and let me know a hydraulic shop they work with could build the part for me, and it would only be $80 more! Perfect! Even though they had to run around town with these brake lines, and rely on another shop to hunt down parts and fabricate custom brake lines for me, they had my Jeep back to me after just 6 business days! The other great thing is Miguel kept me updated the whole time and I never had to worry about if my vehicle was being taken care of. The people at Juke actually care about their customers and I recommend them to everyone I know.

I bring up that brake issue because it eventually became a pattern of dropping the ball, and repeated issues 1. My car had to be towed because basic logic well known issue for GMC/Chevy 6.2 liter V8 engines have a lifter issue which requires engine replacement. The car wasn't in bad shape as you say. Cadillac dealership said I should have it towed due to the knocking sound. My car has always been kept immaculate. Yes you quoted a fair price, it was Lambs in Lakeway that was ridiculous and most people know they are. The engine took long because they sent the wrong engine and in regards to my finances it wasn't I couldn't pay . I was at the mercy of you and I was nothing but polite every single interaction with you. Your dropped the ball so many times and you actually asked me for advance payment at one point because you needed to pay your taxes . I didn't want to pay you UPFRONT Frank. You fix then pay, that's most every way it's done . You didn't have the money to cover costs which is a concern regarding running a business. I had also just spent money on another car repair and boat repairs . The car sat as I decided what I wanted to do. As far as stating you could have charged me storage you never once mentioned that and I have every phone call that proves that. Pretty shady of you to pull that out on your reply here. Again not on single time did you ever mention storage fees. So please don't act as if it was some favor you did. The car went in for an engine replacement. As you confirmed the day you put the engine in to test drive you call me telling me I need steering column replacement. Yes I have you on recording Frank stating that indeed the lift and big tires were the culprit. The steering was completely fine and it had not been driven once per you as we waited for the engine issue and replacement to be resolved. You now understand why I recorded you. You can't remember what you told me. I didn't struggle to pay you. I had a boat in repair and another car a Range Rover in repair. I communicated to you very professionally. By the way let's remember you had me pay up front on everything. It was the engine that was ordered that was delayed. 2. Regarding the transmission line. Let the public see this post. I pick up my car from Frank and I make it about a quarter to half a mile or so down road and what becomes the problem is the transmission line. Frank I have that call to you recorded as well and your claim that I accelerated or false and blew the line is total BS. It had nothing to do with big tires. I'm saving all my facts, statements from GM certified techs , and video of your guy coming over to "fix" it. Within a day or 2 it went out again and I made you tow it for free. It was your guy that you sent and had him do what he did and sent me on my way and that all was fine only to have it sent back to you. By the way on our recorded call you tried to lead me to believe with certainty it was one thing when in fact you were wrong and called me with another reason. Again grateful I recorded both those conversations. The reputable mechanics I discussed were my brothers out of Houston. My brother owns a professional garage and luxury and collector car biz for 22 years. The other reputable people was a connection I had out of A Cadillac dealer in Dallas. I mentioned this to you and so logically my car stayed locally with you. 3. The whole issue about you spending 200 for the detail I will just say to anyone reading this look at the pics of my Escalade left in his care. Never should have happened Frank. By the way I took a time stamp video of my car before it went back to you. I didn't spill the oil. That's a regular engine oil. Why would I need engine oil to leave in my backseat after you just repaired and did an engine replacement. Again shady of you to blame that on me. And by the way I had to waste 3 hours of my work day sitting there waiting on a detail. Completely unprofessional. 4. I asked you you fix my windshield wiper motor while you had it. You never did. I kept asking you very time you had the car and I have your texts alone that show you forgot several times. same thing Frank regarding the transmission thermostat. I asked you several times, you came out to fix my running board and forgot to get the transmission thermostat and windshield motor. Again pretty crazy you fixed my transmission yet our texts show you dropping the ball on the thermostat. I have lost count on the amount of texts I have that show you never show up on time. I'm done with my response. I'll update this post after claims court.

Austin is littered with road hazards. Shrapnel, rocks, popped tires, you name it. You drive regularly, you're bound to hit them from time to time. That said, my tire had a flat late one night as a result of being punctured by one of these hazards. Tire was chewed up all the way down to the spoke. At night, you can only count the number of services available for help on one hand. You get a real sense that you're truly alone out there. A lot of them charge an insane gob of money at night stretching into the thousands to both repair the tire AND do the towing. So I parked the vehicle in a safe place until the next morning. Called Quick Tow and they sent Mando out to me in less than half an hour. Was plenty of time to get me to my car dealer for a scheduled servicing appointment. The company definitely lives up to the name :-)! Mando is excellent. Quick and professional turnaround. Took me all the way to the dealer for the repair and was pretty good company during the drive. My only issue WITH Quick Tow (and NOT against Mando at all), is that they probably should not do tipping. If anything, they should probably build the gratuity into the cost of the tow, rather than risk a professional rift between both the service, the employee, and the customer. It's only a small nitpick; would definitely use these people again regardless. They're wonderful. Thanks again for everything! read more

My BMW had an electrical issue and I needed a fast tow with a flatbed truck as I was stalled on a moderately busy road. I tried arranging a tow through my insurance company but they couldn't get anyone out for several hours. I called Quick Tow and the dispatcher (Alex) said they could get someone to me in 30 minutes. Exactly on time, Ricky showed up and did a great job getting the car on the trailer (I have very low clearance in the front and he was very careful). When I contacted the insurance company for re-imbursement, they needed a more detailed invoice than originally provided. I called Quick tow on Saturday morning and spoke with Mondo, who provided exactly what I needed within a few minutes. Everyone I dealt with was courteous and professional. So refreshing to deal with a company who provides exactly what they promised. I would highly recommend them. read more

Jimmy and Alex seriously came to the rescue! We had been trying for an hour to get my car jumped (in 95° Texas heat) and had pretty much given up. I was just about to start Googling tow truck companies when these two coincidentally showed up to a restaurant for lunch in the same shopping center I was stranded at. They were super kind and helpful- they even tested my battery for me and gave it one last try to jump start it from their truck. I feel very lucky that they were the ones who showed up. -I was stuck on the side of the road in the rain last night (7-15) my truck would not turn over for nothing. I called a few places, and I didn't like the prices or the way some of the folks awnserd the phone... I called Quick Tow and talked to Nick, who was super nice and calm, he came and got me himself. I had a flat tire and tried to change it, but my jack didn't support the weight of my car. I figured I would need to be towed, but they came out within 30 minutes AND Changed my tire for me. The owner came out with an extra jack and on top of that, they also put everything away nice and neatly. They say the offer "old fashioned service" and they really do live up to it. Had to use these guys at 10:30 at night and they showed up before i could even get a hot dog from the store! I was broke down in Buda and called them and they showed up with in 15min seriously! Not only did he have a great towing rate and great skill, but he also recommended a great place to take my truck to get the transmission fixed! Phillip was wonderful! I had a cracked radiator so I couldn't drive my car and needed it moved. He was very kind and gave me a recommendation for his favorite no-fluff body shop in my area! (I had gotten quotes from other shops for almost twice the price.) I also spoke with Kyle on the phone and he was extremely helpful and professional. However, our experience with Harper helped us get through it. They were very quick to the scene. They towed our car from a busy Austin roadway to our residential neighborhood and on to our driveway. (All this through very narrow streets without damaging any cars parked on street.) Our tower (Ballard) was very skilled in getting our car on and off the truck and very courteous throughout. Afterwards, I received a quote stating the damages I sustained are between $6K-$9K to fix. I called the owner to let him know what had happened, and he yelled at me the entire time, stating he understood the driver had made a mistake, but they would only cover my bumper damage and nothing else. He refused to give his full name and was very rude, although I was kind and only asked for help. All I asked was if we could file a claim through his insurance because they cover these incidents, and he refused to help or provide insurance info. Very rude owner! Save yourself the headache and look somewhere else.
