Shady. They came by and got my gf to sign something when I wasn't home. Ended up letting them do siding, and they went through insurance. Took almost 4 months for them to actually do the project. When they did come I could see there was water damage and asked them to stop so we could look at it and talk to the insurance. The guys said if I bought some wood panels they would fix it. Now it's been a couple years and my plaster inside is falling apart because they never really fixed anything, and there's bugs and tons of damage. In the spring and summer of 2023, siding and roof was done by alpha Storm Solutions, while doing the roof the cut off the fresh air and exhaust pipes for my furnace and water heater then enclosed the pipes going into the house with an aluminum wrap, then put a cute little chimney on top. What happened was when cold weather came, my furnace wouldn't run. I had my furnace people come out and they couldn't figure it out. So I had another person come and climbed on the roof and checked the chimney. There was no way to get fresh air into the furnace and all of the exhaust would have been drawn into my house which if the furnace could have worked I probably would have carbon monoxide poisoning. So I draw the fresh air from inside my house and will have to pay to have the little chimney removed and new pipes added in order to fix the issue this caused also will have to get the roof repaired around the chimney to prevent leaks. read more

This company is a scam, they come to my house saying they could get my roof done for no $ outta pocket, even deductible cause they can add stuff to the insurance claim to get the deductible paid. The guy said 95% of the time the deductibles are waived, so I said ok. Now that they couldn't get the $ outta my insurance there saying I have 2 days to pay the $ or im going to court. These guys are horrific. Save yourself some aggravation and find someone else. Be ready to hound them every step. They replaced my roof which was fine. They took my gutters off as I was having them replaced too. Took them a couple weeks to get back and put the new ones up, and a couple trips to fix and finish the new ones. I needed the siding on my chimney replaced and they replaced it with the wrong size. They apparently can't measure what they took off or measure the siding on the house. Just went in and had a discussion with Phil Yates, owner and paid the full invoice. I just had to be done with these people. So, now I am hiring a different contractor to come fix and finish the shit these guys didn't. I would've gave them 0 stars if I could. That's how bad of an experience this was. read more

I had them do work on my rental house and the work was not completely done and had to call back to get it finished. We had sat down and went through the work to be done. At that time we talk it over and choose to not do some minor things so to have money left over to help with painting. It is now almost June have yet to receive any receipt of work done for my records. There has been to check of money owed or explanation why I have not received this. I called Nate from Alpha storm solutions to give me an estimate for my roof. I had already had to patch it due to wind damage. Nate set up an appointment for me to meet with Jake, who is another truly consummate professional, to look at my project. I expected Jake to measure my roof and tell me that it is X number of square feet, and it would be Y number of dollars to replace it. That is not what happened! After inspecting my house, the men from Alpha storm solutions showed me pictures of the hail damage not only on my roof but my siding, (the siding had holes punched out!) the facia, and the roof vents! Now I'm wondering how I will ever be able to pay for all this damage. That when they said that it should be covered by my homeowner's insurance and sure enough it was. Alpha Storm then contacted (with my permission) my insurance company and went to work! The insurance company covered the damage however because the roof was old, they deprecated it. Also, they would only cover 16 square feet of siding and so on. This was my first claim ever and I have paid for that insurance for 30 years or so. Whatever Sorry I digress. Fast forward to today: Alpha storm solutions came out and not only replaced my roof, but they also patched some soft spots, removed old nonfunctioning flu pipes, put on a new chimney cover, and installed new gutters!! I was expecting all these extras to cost something, but they did all this and all I had to pay was my insurance deductible! Wow I never imagined it could be this painless. They did the whole roof in a day and left my landscaping undamaged and spotless. I can't praise Alpha storm enough. read more

Alpha Storm Solutions has been an absolute disaster. They were hired to replace the top portion of my mansard roof due to some storm damage. The initial replacement was very shoddy and left several holes, resulting in leaks. They agreed to redo the work. However when redoing the work they failed to seal the top portion of the roof to the sides. This resulted in water seeping into the sides of the roof, causing extensive mold and water damage. Although they were 100% at fault, they claimed that this was not covered by the warranty because only the top portion of the roof was covered. This has resulted in thousands of dollars in additional work to replace the sides of the mansard roof due to their faulty/shoddy work. Please do not do business with this company. They do not honor their warranties and provide very low quality work. read more

We live in a time when we have learned not to trust much. For most people, the price of everything has increased, while wages have stayed the same. Saving for house repairs takes years, and borrowing takes even longer because of high interest rates. Most of us see a solicitor at our door and hide. That was almost me a couple months ago, when Alpha Storm Solutions knocked at my door. I had just replaced the plumbing in my basement, so I anticipated the company had something to do with basement water accumulation and thought it would be a short but polite, "No thanks; I just did what you're selling." Not the case: Cristian reminded me about the hailstorm that had taken place in March and said if I'd let him check out my roof, he'd be able to tell if I sustained the kind of damage that would get me a new one, paid for by my insurance company. My initial thought was, "Yeah, right, sure," but I said, "Okay, go for it." About twenty minutes later, he came to the door and said, "You will probably qualify for a new roof; there are a lot of loose shingles up there, and the metal is all dinged." Then he showed me pictures. Not being a roofer, I didn't know if this was a big deal or not. I asked him, "What do I have to do?" He said, "Let's call your insurance company and file a claim." So, we did. At this point, I was certain the adjuster would come out and tell me the damage wasn't sufficient to warrant a new roof, or that only part of it was damaged and they'd replace part of it, and my deductible wouldn't even cover the work. I told Christian, "I'm not going to hold my breath." A week later, my adjustor met Christian here, and they explored the roof together. When they came down, the insurance adjustor told me, "It may not look like it, but there was some heavy hail damage up there. I don't know if it came from the March storm, but since you have been insured with us for over fifteen years, I'm sure it happened in that time frame. We're going to give you a new roof on both the house and garage, new siding on the garage and new gutters on both. I should have the paperwork filled out in the next couple days, and Alpha will get started right away, if you want to." I was dumbfounded. Is there any catch, I asked? "Nope. This is why you have insurance, he responded. I felt like I'd won a mini lottery. Christian proceeded to tell me the only out of pocket expense I'd pay is my deductible. "No way," I said. "What's the catch? Won't there be depreciation? My roof is over ten years old, and that aluminum siding on the garage has probably been here since the garage was built in the 70's." "Alpha Solutions will only charge what the insurance estimates the job will cost to replace the roof, siding and gutters. You will pay your deductible." My paranoia kicked in. "Will you put this in writing," I asked. "The insurance company will send you an estimate of replacement. That will be your writing." "And your company will eat the difference in the depreciation," I asked again. "Yes." Cristian obviously understood my concern. It seemed too good to be true. Then I thought about my own job, upgrading fluorescent fixtures to LED in Chicagoland. The ComEd rebate incentive was so amazing, many people could use our turnkey services to completely install new, remove and recycle --in schools that had hundreds of fixtures--and pay less than ten thousand dollars for the whole job. The hardest part was getting the client to believe us. I signed on the dotted line, praying all wound go well. And it went PERFECTLY. True to his word, Cristian and Alpha Solutions (and Cristian's Regional Manager Cordero) did EVERYTHING they said they would. As a professional writer, I love to tell this world when I experience honest business dealings, so I'm writing this testimonial. And I also want to say some other things: 1. Don't try to screw over your insurance company or Alpha and pocket the check. This isn't how it works. Alpha turned you on to this amazing opportunity. Give them the business. 2. If you are planning to take the check and run, please know this: The job takes place in phases. You'll get one check for an initial amount, and as the job progresses, you'll get more checks, as Alpha submits invoices to your insurance company. In the case of my project, I received three separate checks. Don't try to stiff Alpha on the last one by decided you didn't like a, b or c. Just be straight up, and everything will go as promised. They did a great job! 3. Don't give Alpha a hard time if the job isn't complete in a week. I got nervous that my garage siding wasn't really going to end up being part of the deal, so I nagged Cristian and Cordero way too needlessly. It was also VERY RAINY in the last two months, and most contractors don't work in the rain, so cut them some slack. IT WILL GET DONE! They are doing a lot of jobs (which shows their integrity), and they will get to you as soon as they can. AND, you'll be glad they did. 4. Their people do read more

do your research before hiring these subcontractors, we were promised the moldy decking in our attic would be replaced and water damage in our living room fixed. we got a new roof, but none of the black mold was taken care of as promised (even tho we paid extra in addition to the insurance deductible) and the interior work was never done. not to mention they couldn't even get the basic math right on the final invoice, they corrected it but come on. also paid $1700 extra for new intake decking vents to fix our ventilation issues, but some actual attic experts told us it was just a $400 30 min job to pull back the insulation from the soffit vents. Do yourself a favor and find a family owned actual roofing company, these are salesmen that will do anything to get your money. your insurance premiums will increase too so make sure it's worth it. read more

After the work was done, he disappeared and my account was transferred to someone else. Now these fucks coming to my door to collect a payment after I told them not to.
