9:00 AM open time is apparently just an estimate as I sit here at 9:20 looking at a locked door and empty office.

Both my husband and I have received good care from Minute Clinic for non-emergency-room services…read more(infected bee sting, flu shot, skin injury). What we didn't expect - and what seems to have changed in the last year or two - is a large co-pay bill. Even for the flu shot which they advertise as 'free' at CVS ($80!). And on Medicare, a short visit was over $100 co-pay. No indication while you're there - just bills, texts, emails pouring in hard and fast afterward.

I've been sick for the past two and a half weeks and last night I just couldn't take it anymore. I…read morelooked online through my insurance agency where I could go in network, and this place popped up. I thought, heck, that sounds like an excellent idea, I'm going to go! I went to the website to check out the hours and saw that you could pre-register online and pick an appointment time. I was thrilled! I entered my information and got a confirmation code for a 9:50 AM appointment. I also got instructions on what to do when I got there. The clinic's located in the rear of the pharmacy with signage overhead. There's a check in kiosk where you enter the check in code along with billing and personal information. The waiting area is extremely small, with 3 chairs. If it's busy, you are going to have to hang out in the isleways. There was one couple ahead of me, and they got called in a few minutes after I arrived. Honestly, I didn't know what to expect as it's been years since I've been to an urgent care. Am I going to have to wait 3 hours? Will I get what I need and start feeling better? To say that I was impressed was an understatement. The place ran on time and the whole thing was pleasant. The nurse greeted me and took care of me the entire time. There's two rooms to be seen in and I was so thrilled. It's just like being in a doctor's office with a licensed professional. We went through a barrage of questions and some minor tests to realize I have bronchitis! This explains why I've been extremely miserable. What started out as a cold turned into something much worse because I honestly thought I was going to get better. My copay was the same as a visit to a doctor's office. If I had gone to any other urgent care, I would have had to wait three times as long and spend a ton of money. Plus, I got to choose which pharmacy my meds went though. I thought I was going to have to use the CVS pharmacy and start fresh with my info. Nope, had it sent to Meijer's where they already had me on file. I am thrilled with my experience here, and would recommend this place to anyone in need of care when their doctors offices aren't available. It's not a substitute for primary care, but a bandaid when you cannot get into your physician's office. Thank you minute clinic, I am now on the road to recovery!

New to Rochester. Located in a strip mall across the street is Pro-Health Urgent care…read more This place is so new, it's hard to critique when everything is new. I had to make a trip to urgent care after a bite from my friends Gritty Kitty. A day later had a bit of swelling so I selected this location. There were a couple people in the waiting room. I had to do the cursory paperwork, ID and insurance card. Within 10 minutes, I had my data verified and made the required payment. Another 5 minutes and I was in the exam room. The Dr was polite and seemed knowledgeable. Was attentive to my injury and health issues. A little discussion in regards to antibiotics that I can and can't take. Within an hour, I was in and out. I'd definitely go here again. Like all of these types of facilities, you may or may not get the same doctor and staff.

Sports physical needed, so I booked an appointment through Pro-Healths website. Appointment was confirmed through email and text but when we arrived the receptionist had no record of our booked appointment. She looked at my confirmation and said they do not accept bookings through Solo. I didn't book through Solo, I went to their webpage and booked through Pro Health just like I have been doing for years. I was never given an actual reason for the confusion and I'm not sure why this Solo is connected to their website but they don't honor it. I went back in and attempted to book an appointment any other way and was only successful through this Solo. Receptionists said too bad, but we could wait and hope the Dr had time to see everyone in front of us prior to 15 minutes before they close. This urgent care has been going down hill for a while now. I went 10 minutes up the road to Corewell health and 30 minutes later we are on our way home with our physical. The staffat Corewell was friendly and attentive and we will give them our business going forward.

They were very nice and saw me fairly quickly but there was no doctor there and the nurse practitioner or PA that I saw didn't seem very knowledgeable about this kind of thing. My blood pressure was over the roof and by the way the blood pressure cuff was the worst I'd ever seen and it didn't record my blood pressure for several times- she had to go get a different one. The one I had at home was much better than theirs! My biggest problem is she gave me two very very strong pills to bring my blood pressure down cuz it was into the 190s. She didn't really know anything about this blood pressure medicine other than they always carry it and it's the only one they have. Asked her what class of blood pressure medicine it was and she had to go look and come back and tell me. I had already taken my morning blood pressure and I understand she wanted to bring it down but only one pill would have been necessary. She did not explain to me that I would have an extremely dry mouth afterwards and would feel dizzy and lightheaded and when I took my pressure at home it was down 100 points from when she had taken it! I could barely talk because my mouth was so dry and I couldn't eat because of that either. She was very nice and I know I had kept her past the closing time but truly they need a well qualified person to be in this kind of profession with people's lives in their hands. She was only supposed to give me one pill at a time and check my pressure in between but she told me to take them both at once and had forgotten to give me one like a half an hour earlier. I know she was the only practitioner there and she had to help someone else also but I wish I had known clonidine was such a strong medication- I would have told her only to give me one tablet instead of two at once also the bathroom was not clean and barely any toilet paper
