So I agreed. I showed up and told them that my mom had wanted me to take her appointment and she wasn't feeling well and the receptionist which was very rude. Informed me that since I was not a current client, I could not be seen today by their massage therapist And that my mother would be getting a $95 no-show fee. I explained to her that I thought this was very silly and that I have been a massage therapist and business owner for 15 years and that's a crazy policy. And was told well I'm sure that you would like your clients to cancel in enough time so that you can still get paid now our therapist will not be getting paid because your mother is a no-show. I replied with when my clients aren't feeling well and they have somebody take their spot. I am very grateful For them to take initiative and fill the spot because then I still get paid and I have someone to work on. It's not my fault that your guys policy is not letting your massage therapist get paid. I might've also said that they were assholes. Which I definitely stand by that statement. As a massage, therapist and business owner, I am absolutely appalled at such a policy that hurts clients when they think they're doing something to help out and hurts their therapists as well. Ship this place and go to The medical Massage place in Centralia. My mom had been going there for 10 years prior and we have never had a problem like this.
