Service here is great! You know how hard it is to find a printing company that can print addresses on your wedding invitation envelopes?! There was no pressure to say yes to their services, no snarky attitude, just a quote and the turnaround time. Since I didn't have very many envelopes to print, I didn't think the printing services were worth the cost (fixed costs + variable costs) so I didn't use them. However, if you have 100+ invitation envelopes to print, then I definitely think you should go with these guys. read more

I really hate writing negative reviews, but I've given them enough chances to give me the kind of product and service I expect for their price point. They are not transparent about pricing and it varies greatly between sales representatives. I've wasted my time visiting in person to work with their customer service staff in printing my print-ready files and each time the pricing changes despite similar or identical orders. The quality of their product is okay - not worth the headache of having to talk to the manager and multiple people to have a basic understanding of what you're paying for. I was told over the phone I would only need .25 inch added to the image in order to account for a bleed. I went in person to airdrop the files and they told me they weren't print ready despite what I've been told over the phone. my other large orders never included an extra fee for them to add their own margins because I was told multiple times that the images were print ready. Wasted time and gas and out of principle I decided to take my business elsewhere. It's only an extra $25, but added to all the misinformation I've been given, I can't justify their high prices for poor service and constant confusion on my end. The only person I liked working with was Sharai, and I just found out she no longer works for the company. I can see why! read more

I was extremely disappointed with them when they put the decals on the wrong window (also they were not straight, slightly slanted) and insisted that since that's where they were told to put them that nothing can be done. Not even a discount in printing a new decal to fix. There are a couple of different options in the valley that are a lot more professional and willing to work with their clients. A young lady named Lilly recently waited on me at your Alphagraphic's franchise on Camelback.  My mom had just passed and she worked with me on a project. Lillys time, care and attention to detail stood out to me so much, that though time is limited right now, I  believe she deserves applause. Lily is a rare employee. She really knows her stuff. She cares about the individual, she listens carefully, she thinks outside the box, and chooses to go the extra mile.  She is creative, she thinks with her brain rather than like a robot.  It took  little more time because Lilly chose to ask questions rather that assume she knew, from my initial statements, what the end product was that I desired.  She could have given a quick fix, but explained that I wouldn't have been pleased with the results (the equality wound lave deteriorated in the magnification process).  All the while Lilly was pleasant,  though focused, achieving that difficult to achieve balance between being too warm and fuzzy or too stiff and business like. read more

So let me start by saying that my father loves a few things: his family, his work, the Arizona Cardinals and his COFFEE. Now you might ask yourself: why am I talking about coffee when writing a review on AlphaGraphics? Well, my father, Paul, has been doing business with AG for what seems like 20+ years. He worked for the Tempe Elementary School District for 20 years, running their transportation and school safety program. He has since retired and started his own business, doing consulting for schools' safety. He uses AG for ALL of his projects. And he has a lot of them. He absolutely loves the place and all of the members who work there that aid him in said projects. Somewhere along the line my father acquired his FAVORITE coffee mug ever! It's a unique, perfectly shaped Alpha Graphics mug that he takes with him literally EVERYWHERE. He's had it for years and last week his prized possession broke (insert sad emoji.) Anyways, I thought I would try my luck to see if I could surprise him and find a similar mug to replace it and literally pick up the pieces haha. After visiting half a dozen of other stores I couldn't find a cup that could duplicate this fine mug that held such sentimental value, (at least in my thoughts.) With a last ditch effort I went into the AG on 20th St & Camelback and explained my situation. Now, they had another mug and other cool novelties there with their logo on it, but I didn't see the beloved mug that my father held so dear. I mean he got this years ago, so they probably don't even make it anymore. That didn't stop the employees that were there from helping me in my search for this holy grail of mugs. Just as I was about to cut my losses and give up on my search, an employee found the EXACT same black mug, which was in the back of the store on someone's desk. They FOUND IT!!! Not only did they find the twin brother to my father's favorite possession, they gave it to me free of charge. Eureka! I just want to say THANK YOU Alpha Graphics!!! I'm a Graphic Design student and I have a major project due that I needed to print as a booklet. I chose to go to Alphagraphics in my neighborhood since my classmate had a booklet printed at the Tempe location and had a great experience. He said they were really helpful in the process. I figured I would get the same type of service as him, unfortunately I was wrong. I walked in today at 1pm, there were no other people in the store so it wasn't like I was holding up a line. I wasn't 100% sure the exact type of booklet I wanted, so I was hoping to get some recommendations like my classmate was able to in Tempe. I told the man that I would like to print a booklet. His response was "a booklet???" as if he didn't know what I was asking for. Then said "what kind of booklet?" in an annoyed tone. I told him I wasn't sure what he meant and in an even more irritated and super condescending tone, listed off about 15 different kinds of BINDING options all in one breath. He could have just asked me what kind of binding I would like for my booklet, but instead felt the need to school me on what a binding is. I then told him that I would prefer not to do business with someone who felt the need to treat me this way and immediately walked out. He couldn't care less and obviously did not want me as a customer at all. I could have grinned and beared it and just went through with the print order, but I don't trust someone so careless to handle my important projects. TL;DR Don't come here unless you know exactly what you want because they'll treat you like you're a moron. read more

When I explained that I wanted to be certain I was sizing the image correctly because I didn't have much experience working with pixels. The guy scoffed and said "Really?" I had a vision and a project in mind, really a hunch if it could be made and if it would work, as I wanted to put vehicle door magnets on a trailer enclosure that I am towing (solar light tower). This would emphasize the savings it would provide the end-user, which in this case, is the renter. I was lucky to get Nikita in on the project. She asked the perfect probing questions and interjected her professional opinion and each turn she made, this vision got more focus than what I had in mind. I am very pleased with her knowledge of materials, colors, fonts, what is an attention grabber, different color for my email address, all the little details, it all came together and certainly has exceeded my expectations. It stands out as contrast of yellow on white sheet metal so viewers know the sign is what doesn't belong, but once they read it, it produces what I feel are "ah ha" and I'll be darn moments. Cecile was great to work with in the beginning but the production team kept messing up my sign. After months of back and forth, they said they would make me another sign and that was not done right either. I finally emailed John, the owner, and he never acknowledged or responded to my emails. I asked for a refund several times but they ignored my request. After all that, I never did get the sign printed correctly, and eventually had to dispute the charge with my credit card company. It was a real disappoint as I've had a better experience with them in the past. read more
