I found myself in a situation where I needed materials printed at the last minute. I called this location and Marcus assured me that he could have it completed by 4:45, and it was 3:00 pm! I called again at 3:45 to see if I could get some additional printing done and he assured me it would be completed as well! At 4:45, it was boxed up and waiting for me! A HUGE thank you to Phil at AlphaGraphics for answering all of my (many, many) questions before ordering my work shirts. Our company was having issues with a different online custom shirt company (Allied Shirts) when the quality of the print would not even last one wash. We continued to order shirts of different materials to try and alleviate the issue. After the third order, months of slow turn around time, and nearly $1000 worth of work shirts all we had to show for was peeling/cracking shirts that would not last a single wash without extensive precautions. We have been apprehensive about using a shirt company in-town because our last experience resulted in poor customer service. However, after reading the reviews on Google we decided to give Alpha Graphics a shot. I preferred to come in-person and talk about the issues we were having; however, they we're only offering quotes through email. I had A LOT of information to send such as references of our previous shirts and several needs/concerns that we wanted to be addressed. Phil was able to give me great shirt options ranging from budget, performance, and durability. He also informed me on the different type of ink processes and how certain color combinations with shirts & ink can affect durability. After giving us confidence to move forward with a work shirt that we felt would suit our company's needs he promptly gave us an estimate, a preview of the product, and a simply payment procedure. Just had the most amazing service and care at the Alphagraphics on 24th Street (formerly on Camelback) today! I had a workbook that I wanted bound in a special manner and Sergio saved the day by finding some screws in their inventory. Dawn at the front desk, with the most beautiful blue eyes, facilitated the completion with a suggestion of clear cover and, voila, the result was amazing!!! It was completed in a very short time on a Monday, and ew, we all know what Monday mornings can be like. I made a huge mistake this week. My company ordered 1800 cards from alpha graphics- I didn't proof read and every single card had a misspelling on them. I had an Awesome experience with this location last week. Justin helped me recreate an old T-shirt logo that my husband originally designed way back in 1988 for the (high school) rock band he was in. The rock band faded away shortly after high school unfortunately, but my husband has held onto all of his nostalgic memorabilia. I found one of his original rock star band shirts in a box a few months ago and immediately knew I wanted to remake them for him for Christmas. I took the old shirt in and Justin was very helpful and made the process very easy. The shirts I ordered are really soft and cuddly and a high quality brand. The shirts are very vintage in style and look very professional. My husband was very shocked, happily surprised and was so excited to send a picture to all of his life long friends and band buddies. I wanted something pretty simple, print out a letter. I was charged $5.31 for something I didn't even print on my own. I left with three pages that don't look appropriate for me to turn in to the STATE. First he printed out the paper horizontally but it was two pages total (charged for), he finally printed the paper out vertically. I told him if he could edit and remove the extra wording from the email, he said no. I always come here and do it myself with no problem also with the help of other people. I recently had a really bad experience at the Alphagraphics Camelback location, so I was a little trepidatious when visiting the Tempe store. I was greeted by Logan when I walked in and gave him some information and needs for my graphic design project. The assignment was to print a booklet which I needed to lay flat when opened. Logan listened to my requirements and showed me the different types of binding options that would work for this. He was very responsive and talked me through the process to make sure that I was getting what I wanted, which put my trepidation at ease. The turnaround time was much earlier than promised and the final product came out great. My classmate had a similar great experience with Logan as well. Got some flyers done here recently. The same day I requested them, someone didn't call me until the event I needed the flyers for was already starting, but to be honest it was a late order. However, I expected them the next day as the invoice said they'd be ready by 5pm the next day, which was right before our other major event (at 6:30) and the flyers could still be used. I got there the second day after talking to Chase about them being done that day. It was 6:10pm and they still didn't have them printed, and couldn't even find the order for 10 minutes. I waited because they said it'd be 10-15 minutes to print them once they found the order. It was 6:50 before they were done, keep in mind they close at 7. They botched the order and did our separate flyers back-to-back. I told them that this wasn't going to work but I needed to go because my event stared at 6:30 and I needed to be there. They didn't give me the flyers they did double-sided on accident so I went to the event without anything. I sent a rambling email the next day. The best they could do was 35% off already overpriced flyers (they charged $35 to stretch a picture, I could have done that for them for free) that we really didn't need anymore. Despite the fact that the flyers actually look good, it was too little too late. Not going back for their business. DOWNGRADE TO 1 STAR FROM 2 STARS: We realized they used an old version of our flyer (we sent one for an original quote, and another that was updated later) and therefore the information was inaccurate. I would not recommend them to anyone and I can't believe we paid $120 for 100 inaccurate, untimely flyers. read more

I'm a Graphic Designer and this is one of the best printers I have ever worked it, if not THE best. Not only are they friendly and incredibly professional, they do high-quality work with amazing turn-around speed. I had been searching for months for a printer to print our business cards on a specific stock of paper. I visited 5-6 printers in the Valley and contacted several online. Each printer could not offer me very much in the way of paper choices, and many were downright crabby to me for even asking! When I talked to Jeared from Alphagraphics I was pleasantly surprised. He was so amazingly helpful! And, best news yet, they have TONS of paper choices! My request was totally normal to them and they were happy to help. They even offer hard proofs (something that the other printers acted like I was NUTS for even asking!) which is something that to me, is essential when designing. I went in to have some custom t-shirts made. I gave them the design I wanted and was a given a quote of $162.97. I paid that amount then got an email saying that it was going to be an additional $32.00. When I went back to the store the cost was actually an additional $122.20! I asked why the big difference from initial quote and was told that he forgot to add the cost of colored ink. I went to pick up the product on Friday only to find one shirt had a hole and the 2xl shirt was a xs shirt. It has been a frustrating experience. read more

But then they send an email informing you that the packet you ordered is ready and to pick it up at the express will call station which is reportedly open Saturdays. It is not. We needed some color printing in a specific size and product type in a hurry. They were one of the few locations that could produce our printing in-house, in our time frame. Mike and his team got the samples done, we made a few changes, and they executed the printing. They even shipped it to our clients for us. We have been using them for almost a year now and the service and communication are fantastic. Aside from the first print run, I never visit the location. I email our files, receive proofs back, let them know when I would like them delivered and they do the rest...consistently and in a quality manner every time. So let me start off saying that this review is 100% about an employee, one who in my opinion, is just amazing. I am a believer in letting people know when they have done an amazing job, and this guy did. His name is Jimmy, and I believe he is the customer service manager. I had an issue with one of my purchases (an issue that was definitely my mistake) and he was SO great about it. Like I said, it really was not a giant deal and I am aware he was doing his job, but he was so great to me, went above and beyond to help me out, and called me as soon as he got an update. Not too many employees will go to that length to keep a random customer happy (one who wasn't in the least bit unhappy to begin with) and do it with a smile.
